I've been going to Northside animal clinic for several years and happily switched as soon as I met Dr Wayment. He is so kind and knowledgeable, he is the only one I'll trust my herd of dairy goats with from now on! He actually listens to my concerns and treats me with respect even when I have a million questions. The technicians are all super sweet and gentle with my babies as well. Thank you so much Canyon View team!!

I have been happy coming here for vet services and grooming. My dogs have seen a couple different vets here and they have always taken time with me and have been very kind to my dogs. My brother in law is a great vet in Spanish Fork but I come to Canyon View because it's near my home. I have been happy with the care my dogs have received here. As far as grooming, Jordan always does a great job. Whether I have my golden doodle's hair longer for winter or shorter for summer, she always looks great! I recommend this clinic!

Took my sheepadoodle in to Canyon View Cares for grooming. I explained exactly how I wanted my dog groomed and even showed them pictures of how I wanted him groomed. When I returned to pick up my dog I was horrified to see what they did to him. They completely shaved his nose all the way up to his eyes. He now has exposed skin which a sheep dog should never have. They totally ruined this beautiful dog's face and still charged me $50 for the grooming. I recommend you take your dog elsewhere. I definitely will. (See photo)

My poodle has received three very good groomings. I have tried other groomers in the area, and none have done as nice as Canyon View Cares.

Been very impressed with the staff. They take the time to listen to our concerns and questions. I never feel rushed when in an appt.

They were also very strict with all vaccinations. I forgot to send my husband with some of the copies and we had to quickly get them emailed over before they would let him enter - which is great! My dog passed his assessment and stayed here for seven days over Thanksgiving. The price was fair and when we picked him they gave us a little treat bag and report card. My dog seemed to love it and he was always chilling in the middle of the pack when they would post anything on Instagram. Downfalls: despite strict vaccination requirements my dog still got kennel cough. He recovered quickly and it wasn't anything severe, but still a bummer. He also had one or two scratches on him. I'd imagine he was playing rough and it wasnt anything serious since his report card was all positive, but it's still something I'll watch out for if he goes back.

The technician was kind to our pet, but I was surprised that no one initially checked our pet's temperature or assessed his condition based on his symptoms; we had to remind the staff to do so before we left. Dr. C made a poor initial impression with his curt demeanor. He seemed short and almost dismissive of our pet's situation. For instance, he did not introduce himself when he came in and after a brief greeting, he pointed to the table for our dog and began his assessment without allowing us to provide input. He was halfway out the door before he finally asked if we had any questions. However, It came off as more of a formality versus actually caring if we had any questions and addressing them. The initial interaction, lasting less than two minutes, felt rushed and impersonal, reflecting poor bedside manner. However, Dr. C significantly redeemed himself when he returned with the medications and was very polite and more attentive. Additionally, a gentleman named Alex was extremely kind and helpful, answering many of my questions and putting my mind at ease in the reception lobby. Overall, our experience mostly positive and if I had to point out any areas of improvement , it would be the overall bedside manners that the doctor provided with patients. With that being said, I would return.

I am only writing this review in hopes that Pet Pals Place will see it and take action so what happened today does not ever happen again. When I went to pick them up today after their first grooming appointment, I was getting ready to pay at the front desk when an employee let them out into the waiting room without their leashes on. As the employee went to look for their leashes another customer opened the front door to come inside, and my dogs who were panicked since this was their first time there immediately ran outside and were running around in the parking lot around other customer's cars. I was so worried they were going to get hit by one of those cars, or on Fairfield Road. It was so scary, and my dogs were terrified! My dogs have been groomed so many times over the years, and they have never been just let out into a waiting room without leashes on or they have been kept behind a dog gate until a leash can be put on. This is totally unacceptable and unsafe!! Also, not sure if the person or people grooming them are new to grooming, but my dogs have never had grooms this bad. Their bodies and tails look ok, but their ears and tops of their heads look horrible. If you are going to cut ears and tops of their heads short, please ask the customers before doing that.

So good, that I was hiking with my Goldendoodle and a lady stopped me to ask where I got her hair cut because every place she has taken hers she hated. Every time I board them, they happily jump out of the car to go inside. The gentleman that works evenings, weekends, and holidays is fantastic! We will be on the road and about 30 mins past their closing and he will stay so we can get our dogs. Only change I wish is that the dogs had more of a scent to them after a groom. Fantastic place and when all 3 of my dogs (one is afraid of her own shadow) are excited to arrive, that says something!

She texted me to ask me to change my review as it would hurt her business. She insinuated that our experience and perception of what happen were wrong and when I refused to change my review she rudely insulted us and said that we somehow knew that our beloved cat was going to die and that we are bad pet owners for not hiring their services more frequently. When in reality this was the farthest thing from the truth. Facts: 1. The owner and pet sitter are trying to mitigate the situation and claim their innocence by denying any negligence. The owner is trying to shame us and twist this already terrible situation in her favor by lying and saying we knew our cat was going to die. 2. The pet sitter we hired verbally admitted she did not make an effort to physically see our cat goober during any of her home visits and verify that Goober was alive. Due to this seemingly innocent oversight I came home and found her dead and what's worse is the sitter didn't even know she had died. 3. We left home for two weeks to get married and our cats were healthy with no diseases or imminent death. 4. No amount of increasing the number of visits to our home would have changed the fact that the pet sitter told us "I thought your cat was hiding so I didn't go looking for her". 5. We believe that the pet sitter did not perform due diligence to verify the safety and health of each of our pets and we are now have had to endure the insulting attitude of the owner. The pet sitter neglected to verify if our cat was alive and well.

The online scheduling was convenient, but the website was difficult to navigate and had several features that didn't work properly. The front desk employee was extremely friendly and helpful when I called about signing up for the free 14-day trial. Our first visit was okay, but the baths were disappointing. The dogs still had dirt on their coats, my hands became dirty after petting them, and I had to rewash parts of them at home. I chose not to complain because I wanted to give the facility another chance. At the second visit, our dogs were noticeably more reluctant to enter the building. Staff also informed us that dogs may share kennels, which concerned me even if they're from the same household. When we picked them up, one of my German Shepherds, Violet, had diarrhea, feces on her tail and legs, and fresh abrasions and swelling on her nose that were not present before drop-off. I was never informed during the appointment that she had become sick. I had to clean and bathe her again after getting home. My partner called to express our concerns, and the front desk employee was again kind, apologetic, and said he would pass everything to a supervisor. Unfortunately, my conversation with the supervisor was the complete opposite. Rather than showing empathy, she immediately became defensive, insisted Violet's nose injury existed before the appointment, implied we were providing inaccurate information, and repeatedly focused on my "tone" instead of addressing our concerns. At no point did she apologize or acknowledge how upsetting it was to pick up an injured dog. We decided to cancel the membership during the advertised free trial. We were told it couldn't be canceled until after we were charged and then we'd have to request a refund, which made little sense for a trial period. We were also required to repay the 40% grooming discount that came with the membership. While I expected that part, it was frustrating considering we were canceling because of our experience. I do want to recognize the groomer who groomed our two poodles. She did an excellent job, and I happily tipped her 20%. I also want to commend the front desk employee for being consistently kind and professional. Ultimately, it wasn't the grooming itself that lost our business--it was the lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism from management when concerns were raised. If our concerns had simply been acknowledged and addressed with compassion, we likely would have remained customers. Instead, we'll be taking our dogs elsewhere.
