Gino's has been a go to for me and my family for years. We love their grandma slice and the pizza selection they have. Their baked ziti pizza slice, chicken marsala, bruschetta slice and their Joe's club salad are our favorites. Can always count on Gino's for a pick up/delivery for lunch or dinner.

Finally took the time out to sit down at Gino's and I'm more impressed than I am when I pick up take out orders. Service is good the waiters are attentive to all tables not just the ones in their section. Baked ravioli was really good I don't remember needing to add salt. Chicken was seasoned and the Alfredo was nice and creamy. Table bread and salad was good as well.

Jonathan you are awesome. Hi Brandon & his Fiancé. Congrats. *** You have to run NOT walk to get yours here. When I tell you that everything is AMAZING, DELICIOUS, FRESH, TASTY & 1000% worth the trip. When I go for it's just me and my hubby. I make sure to get enough for tonight, late night snack for the samnight, Breakfast, snack, lunch, dessert & late lunch. Yummmm. The ENTIRE staff are wonderful. Very friendly and always a welcoming smile. Great personality and just nice people. I WILL BE BACK.

Came here on Easter Sunday. The food was fresh and hot. They had a full staff on for the Holiday. Great time . I was surprised they had a full menu for the day not an increased price menu like some places offer.

To be honest, I thought it was walking into Umberto's, but since I've never been to Gino's, I figured I'd give it a try, the place was dead. I was the only customer so I ordered a buffalo chicken and a margarita slice buffalo chicken was good. It was a heavy hardy slice. The chicken pieces were definitely too big for the slice and the margarita was lackluster, it almost looks like umbertos from the outside. I think that's the whole point of Gino in that area is to get the overflow from umbertos. I wish them luck. I won't be back.

Impressions: We walked in at different times but got quick seating, followed by quick waters, including the lemons I asked for. Solid. Then came unexpected breadsticks! They came with butter not oil, but tasty as a start. The waitress offered more bread and even noted she could bring Italian bread instead. Service: 5 stars. The place had soft background music, nice lighting, plenty of space inside. Ambiance: 5 stars. My friend got garlic knots for the table. They're huge, and super soft, and absolutely delicious. Plenty of marinara for dipping. Even the burnt looking one was perfectly done. 5 stars. Out came the pie, split 50/50 mushroom and sausage+garlic. I had one of each and Oh. My. Goodness. This is the best pizza outside of maybe Staten Island I've ever had. Chock full of toppings - worth every penny to add those. Perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Perfectly crispy crust. Absolutely divine flavor through and through. 24 stars. If I'm ever going to be enticed to come back to Long Island, it's going to be with a visit to Gino's. I have NO CLUE how this place doesn't have 5 stars but trust me: This'll spoil you on how good pizza can be. Nowhere else is gonna measure up. Eat at Gino's. Period.

We've been getting pizza from Gino's for a few months now and it's gotten to the point that if we're offered pizza from anywhere else, we ask if they've ever had Gino's. It's not "traditional New York pizza", it's better! The seasoning you normally add to a plain slice, is added to the pizza during the cooking process. For god sales, they have perfected the garlic knot pizza!!!

Really. A burnt chicken roll and now they don't answer the phone.

A waiter comes to then take our order, but we're not ready. He came a few times, but we were talking/catching up on life. Fifteen minutes goes by and Sabrina the waitress returns to our table and says, "I didn't forget about the lemons and off she went. Sabrina comes back at least five minutes later with the lemons. My friend wanted separate checks, so I specifically asked Sabrina for that, I also asked for a specific dressing on the side and MOST IMPORTANTLY, because my friend was just having two slices of pizza, I asked that she bring our food out at the SAME TIME, so we can eat together. At 5:26 my friend is served his two slices from the girl that works at the pizza counter, I asked her where my food was and she said it'll be coming out. Being when you order slices, someone from the counter serves it in the dining area, I already knew Sabrina never said to the counter people to not serve the pizza until the entree is being served. I decided to time how long it would take to get my entree because my friend did not want his pizza to get cold and he said I hope you don't mind, but I'm eating my pizza. What was I going to say, so I said go ahead. If the reverse happened, I of course would have told them prior to my even touching the plate, to take the pizza back and bring me two new slices when my friends entree is served. Everyone is different and my friend certainly is. By the time I got my phone out and put the timer on, approximately 1-1/2 minutes had passed, attached is a picture of how many minutes it took to get my entree, add 1-1/2 minutes to that which means I waited 14-1/2 minutes to get my entree. Another picture attached is how much pizza my friend had left of the second slice he was eating. The salad picture is with the dressing I didn't want, which a runner brought to the table and walked away. I had to wait for Sabrina to pass by and ask her if that was the right dressing because it didn't look like it. She said it was the wrong dressing, so I had to wait for her to bring the dressing I had specifically asked for. How does the story end you ask, well of course she brought one check, not separated as I specifically asked before she even took our order. She then went away and came back with two checks. Chicken Marsala was okay, not good, just okay. I will never step foot in this establishment again.

The crust strikes that perfect balance--crispy on the outside with just the right amount of chew inside. Every bite tastes fresh, balanced, and crafted with care. What really stood out was the consistency and attention to detail. With that out of the way, let's get to what I got at this pizzeria. Since I had just come from Dario's, I decided that one slice would be good to get a feel of what KU offers. First off, the ambiance and look of the pizzeria is my favorite of the trifecta and the customer service is fantastic. I got the white slice and on the whole, it was heated to perfection, had a wonderful balance of mozzarella, ricotta and basil. Anywho, the taste of the slice was fantastic and I think this outclasses Umberto's and Da Angelo's white pies by a long shot. The display case had a great selection of wonderfully made pizza and other items for takeout. If you come here, you need to try their grandma pie as that it's claim to fame (I wish I could have it, but damn gastritis! ) I met Giovanni, one of the owners and he was friendly and loves having conversations with his customers and hope to meet him again. This has easily become one of my top favorite pizzerias on Long Island and will make the trek again, this time with my family in tow. Cheers!

Sorry I won't sound that way in this review. I don't jump on YELP to review right away unless something's really got me irritated and fed-up. The Ambiance is basic pizza place IMHO.. Plenty of tables and space. I've eaten pizza and pasta dishes for at least 65 of my 70+ years on this earth and worked in a pizza place during the late 70s-early 80's and I KNOW my pizza AND pasta, especially the sauce. Today's baked ziti and baked stuffed shells was literally out of this world, meaning it tasted like it came from an alien, possibly one of those we've been hearing about on the MSM news. It Was HORRIBLE! No, I don't have pictures because I do NOT have a cell phone or a cam. My wife does but she is not home today. Trust me, I do NOT knock pizza places unless it is well deserved, like this place. This was the 3rd time I've tried this place. The 1st time I ordered the same as today. It was delicious. The 2nd time I ordered a round cheeses pie which was a bit too well done for me, so not satisfied. The very 1st time I had just a slice or 2 and was very satisfied, which is why I went back. Today, I'm sorry I decided to stop there. It's a total waste of $27 as I can't even eat this. It looks and tasted like leftover food from last night. The stuffed shells were way overcooked. So soft that when I attempted to transfer to a big bowl, they fell apart. Too soft and the "ricotta" was not creamy or melted. It looked like ricotta does when it's gone bad. I was afraid to eat it, THAT'S how bad it looked. I did TRY it along with the baked ziti, but not good at all. So, you might wonder how the baked ziti was? HA! NOT GOOD AT ALL! The ziti tasted as it looked. Overcooked. Some brown "burn" spots on the mozz, (very little cheese) and the same "expired looking" ricotta. I tried a couple fork fulls but it tasted burnt to me. well done, burnt and dry. Sorry guys but this was horrible and unacceptable. This was to be for my wife and me tonight. Now I'll just make my own, which I'm quite capable of and KNOW it will be edible and much much better than the garbage I was given today. I would call but the convo would not be pretty since I'm in a rotten mood, so I am just writing it here. I won't waste my time or gas in bringing it back. This place is NOT around the corner. I was just passing by again so I figured I'd get some hot food. I should've stuck with the pizza. I mean really; how do you screw up baked ziti and shells? There's 3 ingredients plus the pasta. The Ricotta HAD to be bad to begin with and then the overcooking it compounded it - or vice-versa. I hate throwing away food but this is going in the garbage AFTER I get my wife to take a couple pics. Both meals are in a big bowl, mixed together since the shells fell apart and I THOUGHT maybe the ziti could be salvaged using some of the sauce from the shells but even then, it tasted horrible. Obviously, Enzo's is off my fav. places to eat pizza/pasta list. It does take the #1 worst ziti and shells spot though. So bad I wouldn't even want another order if offered. I'll take the loss. It's not the first time I've wasted cash. Live and learn. Calda, Positano's, Sbarro's, Gino's and a couple other places nearer to me have yet to disappoint, so I'll stay with them. So now, having just wasted $27 and annoyed at that thoughh it could've been worse, I'm going to drink my blues away with a beer or 3 and then I'll feel better - or fall asleep in front of the TV. If my wife takes a picture and we can figured out how the heck to upload it from her phone, I'll do that as soon as possible. EDIT: The bread given with the meal was also hard and cold as if ( again ) it was leftover from yesterday or even before then. But from what I recall about the bread, it looks a lot better than it tastes. I'll be throwing that out too.

I've driven by Tandoori Pizza many times and was always curious to try them. I had the opportunity to finally try Tandoori Pizza since I was at an event at another establishment down the block. I did takeout, and ordered the following: -- Archari Chicken Pizza w.extra garlic sauce (14" large pie for $31.80 with tax): Anchari chicken is typically very spicy, which I was looking forward to. The chicken was barely spicy and extremely dry. I had asked for extra garlic sauce (+ 50¢) in the pizza but I'm not sure if they actually put extra sauce, since it was so dry. Also, the dough reminded me of Dominos crust; very doughy and not very crusty. The toppings were skimpy and the pizza was mostly doughy bread. -- Lamb Kebab Pizza (14" large pie for $31.30 with tax): the dough was the same as the Achari Pizza; doughy and dry. The flavors of this pizza were stronger than the Achari, but the crumbled lamb was extremely overcooked, making it...you guessed it...very dry. Also, We found the price of these pizzas extremely high, given the skimpy amount of toppings and the size of the pizza. $31+ for a 14" pie with skimpy dry toppings and dry doughy crust is unwarranted. I don't know. Everyone else has rated Tandoor Pizza very high, so maybe it's just us who didn't like them. Or...maybe you have to douce the pizza in Ranch Sauce like everyone else?!?! I personally don't like Ranch Sauce on my pizza so that a big no thanks for me. Sorry! I still love Indian Pizza in general, and will continue to enjoy it, but at other places. I'm glad I finally got to try Tandoori Pizza though... curiosity satisfied! On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, polite and welcoming! Also, they offer discounts if you order online (not in person). So order ahead and save a few bucks!
