    Pistachio latte

Little Falls Cafe is such a cute & quaint breakfast spot with incredibly delicious crepes. The staff were so friendly, and the food came out fast & hot with huge portion sizes. I'm so glad we found this place & will definitely be back again soon!

I've been wanting to try this place since I was craving for a good galette and it did not disappoint! First of all, I really loved the decoration inside and I was pleasantly surprised with how adorable they set up the tables. I also love how their menu is really dedicated to galettes and crepes. I ordered a regular latte and galette complete and it was sooo good! I was very impressed with their latte. Highly recommend! For galettes, I like how they come with the small green salad. My husband got the baked salmon one and it was pretty good, probably I liked this one better than mine. I don't know how they made the sauce but it was absolutely delicious and complemented the salmon pretty well. I would love to come back again and try their crepes too!!!

Stopped by after walking around the farmer's market this morning. Loved the decor inside and outside. Sat inside and shared a crepe and my daughter tried the shot of espresso with condensed milk and I tried the pistachio latte which was made from real pistachios. Food was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by the pistachio latte. Server was friendly. Tried the fig crepe, we did add honey which was at the table.

Overall: 5/5 A whimsical gem that easy to miss. Will definitely return for more. Food: 5/5 Best crepes I've had in the US. The wait time was long but well worth it. I tried 2 savory ones and every bite was bliss. Ambiance: Whimsical is the best word to describe the decor and atmosphere. It's located about half a block off a Main Street in Falls Church making it easy to miss.

Came today with a quickness since a coworker and i were on our usual walk. Now bare in mind that this place is still in Soft Opening so the ratings could very well change. 1. the place a very cute and has a lot of small trinkles and fund things to look at its like you walked into a mini European cafe. I love the staff outfits. one of the staff members actually had mentioned it was very much like walking into the von trappe family home. But the coziness of the place is so welcoming. I saw a sign on google that listed no kids under 10 and ill be honest i understand that there is a risk in children not only running around and the danger of them actually reaching for items that are not bolted on the wall and touching things. 2. Crepes.. so my coworker and I decided to share a crepe... we were inquiring about the time frame of preparation since we were trying to get back to the office. The staff was accommodating to our limit in time and were very kind about it. However, due to soft opening they did not have any togo capabilities. We both decided on the blue bell which was a blueberry and mint compote crepe with caramel drizzle. So when the crepe arrived I appreciated that the compote was on the side. Although the crepe flavor was very good. Not clawingly sweet and a good bite from the crepe it cut nicely you didn't have to tug at it. The compote was a bit thin. I did appreciate the freshness of the blueberries and the mint flavor was on the back end it wasn't too minty but there was a brightness in overall flavor. The Whipped cream was thick and very creamy, little sweet with a hint of vanilla really rounded everything out. At first, we didn't ask for whipped cream but I am glad it was placed on the side just in case. I do have to make a comment on the plates...i love the vintage China plates with the florals. 3. Creamolato.... Flavors were lemon and strawberry. Both were fresh and were like a smooth sorbet minus the strawberry which was a bit more icey. But I'm so glad they offered a combo option because i got to try both flavors. Although due to the no to go I had to scarf down the flavors. Overall Little Falls seems like it could become a hidden gem if the quality keeps up and efficiency stays however; I was told there is one chef so far so that could pose a challenge in the future. I will say that the price point for these crepes are a bit high even though you have high quality ingredients. But a fun experience I wish them well and hope that they are able to work out kinks and introduce more seasonal items.

    Toasted marshmallow latte

Such a cute cafe! They have some nice Christmas decor during the holidays which I liked. They sat us in a few minutes. I got the toasted marshmallow latte which was fine; was just a latte with a toasted marshmallow in the middle honestly. Had the steak crepe which was very tasty with the hot sauce. The steak, mushroom, and onions were great together! Also had the strawberry crepe which was really good with the nutella and strawberry syrup. Had their ice dessert at the end which I thought was fine. Enjoyed this spot and it's such a vibe! Staff were attentive and nice too. They have a parking lot for the cafe too.

I had the galette complete crepe with a sunny side up egg and it was phenomenal! So full of flavor and super fresh. I also tried the chick magnet too. Yum! So good! I love the generous amount of tomatoes. The pistachio latte had the perfect flavor. The cafe is beautifully decorated inside. It's charming and you get great photos ! I love the outdoor area too, it's relaxing ! Staff is so nice and welcoming. Little Falls Cafe was recommended to me by our friends back home in Chesapeake that own a pizza shop called Pizza Amanti. I am soooooo happy they recommended Little Falls Cafe. It was the best time ever! I want to try more crepes and enjoy the experience again soon!

OVERALL: cute interior, great food! Limited takeout packaging FOOD: stopped in to order food to go. We got crepes and the loch ness monster. Crepes were great but small. Loch ness monster was the most filling and flavorful thing ever. I wasn't expecting it to be light and filling. You get a huge portion. If you get takeout make sure you check the box because it leaks. VENUE: a bit unassuming as it is not showy outside but it's big inside with plenty of booths and tables. Cute german-ish decor. SERVICE: staff was very friendly and accommodating.

love, love, LOVE!! What a cute and fabulously charming little place. If I had just been walking by, I would have missed it. Quite literally. It looks like a single family home from the front, and has a parking lot in the back for customers. Due to it being the holiday season, it was the epitome of deck the halls. My friend and I were immediately embraced like a warm hug at grandmama's house iykyk. The place is decorated in such a cozy way-- walls are covered in art, textiles, and other knick knacks. The staff is adorned with lace bandanas and plaid. We were constantly looking around because everytime you look, you'll notice something new. The wait for a table downstairs was fairly long 20-30mins. We could have immediately sat at an upstairs table but the vibe was completely different, and was completely silent. We opted to wait longer. We both ordered the exact same things-- toasted marshmallow latte and the Hog in the Orchard galette. The wait for food was even longer, over ~35 mins. The vibes were so nice and overall we didnt feel rushed, so we really didn't mind as we sipped our coffees. Both were incredible. The latte was a tad too sweet for me but came in these kitschy Christmas Village boot mugs. Thr galette was the perfect balance of savory with a hint of sweetness from the apples. The crepe was so yummy and crispy. I haven't had a good crepe in so long that this felt like such a treat. I can't wait to come back!

Banana and strawberries with Nutella crepe
    Ineke S.

I went back and had the same galette, but also made sure I tried a sweet crepe. I shared the Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas with my son and it was perfect. The fruit was fresh, the crepe light and buttery and the Nutella was of course divine! The restaurant was busier on this visit, but we were still greeted promptly and the service was attentive and friendly. I walked around a bit this time and realized there's a second smaller dining room that's just as cozy and colorful. It's a sweet little spot and we will definitely be back.

Fig, Gruyère , prosciutto galette with walnuts and balsamic glaze

What a gem!!! Visited today with my daughter and loved everything! The decor was inviting, the coffee delicious, my daughter really liked the blackberry lemonade. We both had galette's, which are made with buckwheat flour so totally GF. Yum. Please add this one to your list of cafe's next time your in Falls Church, you won't be disappointed!

    Carbonara Galette
    Jana L.

They were busy and it was hot out and they don't have a lot of space to wait inside so they were graciously seating folks outside and still providing drink service - it was very nice and on a cooler day it would have been wonderfully pleasant - they did a beautiful job creating that outside area with charming tables, umbrellas and flowers. For how busy they were, they were attentive, even to the groups waiting outside - I know they are only open for a few months but service is top notch! And the aesthetic is spot on - I love the Scandinavian stenciling around the windows, mixed table settings and vintage finds - it's charming while being thoughtfully curated. I only had their savory galettes - both of which were very tasty and I do love that they come with a little salad - the vinegar and acid pairs well with the richness of the eggs and cheese. The Carbonara with the runny egg was perfectly cooked and delicious. Drinks were fresh and refreshingly light and the Americano, excellently brewed. It's a small menu and a little pricey - but it's charming, well executed and definitely a place I want to try again!

Menu offerings are well thought out and the food is good. Ambience is cutesy with abundant tchotchkes and shiny objects. The staff is dressed in costume and friendly. A nice place to eat, but only on special occasions.

Delivery review ahead…read more I was craving a really good breakfast sandwich and this place delivered just that! When I talk about quality sandwiches, Semicolon cafe wins! The packaging was handled with care so both of my sandwiches arrived nice and hot. I ordered the B.E.L.T and a grilled cheese. The B.E.L.T was a conversation starter, the bread was buttery and smooth-melts right in your mouth after each bite. The egg with corn, never tried that combo but honey, it was fantastic!!!! The bacon was quite generous and prepared with the perfect crisp and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, complementing the sandwich. The sauce on top was a shining star! So much flavor spread evenly throughout the sandwich. My boyfriend loved his grilled cheese sandwich which came with bacon and spinach. Definitely glad that I found this place! I'll order again and this time I want to try their lattes.

It's simple, really good and one of those easy sandwiches to grab when you're in a time crunch. Parking can definitely be hit or miss since it's one of those retail spots tucked into an apartment community, which seems to be super common here in Falls Church. I also tried the chocolate bingsoo once, but unfortunately by the time it got to me it was pretty melted. I'd be willing to give it another try though, especially if I'm picking up my food in person next time. The couple of times I've gone, the lady working behind the counter has been very nice and helpful in her recommendations. Overall, it's a small, quaint little spot with plenty of outdoor seating, which would be really nice on a good weather day. I'll definitely keep coming back for that grilled cheese.

We came for a friend's birthday brunch and ordered a little bit of everything. The menu has so many dishes that are different from what you normally see at brunch. My top three were easily the Dulce de Leche Pancakes, Shrimp & Grits and Lorraine Quiche. The pancakes were out of this world and something I would specifically come back for. The Shrimp & Grits have a chorizo étouffée that gives them a completely different flavor, and the quiche was incredibly moist rather than dry like so many others I've tried. We also enjoyed the beef empanadas, The Blue Ridge steak sandwich, salmon and charred peach salad, and prosciutto, onion and arugula pizza. Even the peach in the salad was surprisingly subtle and didn't overpower the dish. Don't skip the bakery case either! They have gorgeous fruit-shaped desserts, including an adorable lemon, plus plenty of pastries if you just want coffee and something sweet. Our server Diego was fantastic, and we even got to meet Chef Godfrey, who surprised us with dessert. They also have a patio and private spaces upstairs for events and celebrations. The music was calming, the beautiful scenery and the space was a large space, way bigger than I thought! We had Diego as our waiter and staff and he's knowledgable, provide great recommendations and also helped us out with many of our requests! Now comes the food: We got a full table of delicious food. 1. The Lorraine quiche : Very crunchy outside and soft and hot with delicious filling inside. I am not a quiche girl but I deff love their quiche. 2. The trios empanahas : i am a true empanada fan and their beef empanas and the sauce mix so well together. 3. The prosciutto pizza was HUGE. Deff can feed 4 people , their crust was crispy and the pizza was not too thick so you don't get bored eating it. 4. The banana foster french toast... HEAVEN. the banana was perfectly camelize and the strawberries and berries was the perfect mix fruit with it and the portion was also huge. 5. Tres les ches Pancakes was hot, crispy but also soft and honestly my FAV out of all the dishes. 6. Wild Salmon and charred peach was an interesting salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection, still moist but a lil crunch outside and large piece . The salad dressing was perfect with it. I would love to eat this one everyday. 7. My first time for the grits. Shrimp and grits was delicious. The portion is large and shrimp was paired perfectly with the grits. I think frits will now be on my daily rotation breakfast thanks to Godfrey. 8. We got a hot matcha because we love matcha and it was delicious! Very creamy and the matcha tasted ceremonial. 9. We also got the blue ridge sandwich, it had delicious camelized onion and based on Diego's suggestion, we switched it out for the sourdough and it was delicious. Sandwich was filled inside. We asked to sit outside for lunch and brunch but you could also sit inside for cafe items like croissant , muffin and coffee. They also have rooms upstairs for big parties that can be reserved through open table. Overall, the experience was amazing and I would not be able to top this birthday brunch anytime soon!

Service: First, I have to call out the service. It was fantastic and the manager was wonderful. When we walked in, the manager showed us the menu, gave recommendations on what to get (get the breakfast plate and hot egg plate), said no pressure, and introduced us to the woman working the cash register who also brought us our food. He later sent us two baklava pieces after we finished our meal. We were beyond surprised and let me say...they were delicious. He was so nice, the vibes of the restaurant were so friendly and it was a welcoming atmosphere. Food: We got the breakfast plate and hot egg plate which was recommended and is the best deal. For the egg plate I got the menemen (tomatoes and peppers with eggs) which was so good. I don't like cooked tomatoes, so I am not sure why I like this or how they make it, but it is delicious and not super tomatoey. The breakfast plate comes with 2 pita, dips, tomato, cucumber. We also got the Turkish Sausage eggs which are great and have slim cut pieces of sausage in them. We also got 2 simits, 2 boreks and 2 teas. The baklava was outstanding! We tried what I think was the regular which had a floral tone to it, the chocolate and the tahini. The tahini was my favorite by far - I had never tasted anything like it. Each piece is $2 and affordable. Seating: There is indoor and outdoor seating. I believe there may have been 8 tables inside? It is set up well in that you can make the tables smaller or bigger. Square and round tables. Good for groups larger than 4. Outdoor seating has a ton of tables and was in the shade when we were there. Parking: Super easy. Either way, no one checked in beyond taking our order and dropping off the food, so it never felt like a full dining experience. Parking is easy, since it's a combined restaurant and tea shop. I don't think I'll be back.

Best Buns 5 We've…read morebeen to Best Buns several times over the years, but somehow I've never gotten around to writing a review. Since we were back in the area for a DMV for a brief visit we knew exactly where we were stopping before heading to the airport. Hubs ordered his usual sausage, egg and cheese sandwich , and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich along with an iced mocha. I had completely forgotten they have a Starbucks on-site with a limited menu. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a cookie and a chocolate croissant for later. The food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff is always friendly and personable. You see professionals, students and the locals coming in and out, but there is seating available. Conversations are at a minimum and despite the attached restaurant you can still hear yourself and the other person without yelling. One thing I appreciate about Best Buns is the consistency. Whether it's been months or years between visits, the quality never seems to change. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference. My sandwich disappeared one bite at a time, and Hubs completely demolished his croissant sandwich without hesitation. That's usually all the confirmation I need. Some restaurants are good. Some are memorable, but there are the places that become part of your routine whenever you're back in town. Best Buns has earned that status for us. Five stars earned! Consistently fresh. Consistently delicious. We'll be dropping in on another turn and burn later this month...

The Avocado Toast with egg was good, but nothing particularly special. I enjoyed the English Sourdough bread and bought a loaf of it. We devoured the hand-cut fries. The 4 bite-size Ozzie Rolls were fun to try. The Chocolate Espresso Chew Cookie was moist and fudgey, sweet ending to our meal! Plain Croissant was standard. The Pink Drink with housemade syrup, coconut milk and strawberries was refreshing and tasty. It was my pick from the Strawberry Lemonade and Dragon fruit Lemonade. The Lemonades were a bit too sweet. I ordered the food to dine in and it was packaged to go. I wish the food could be prepared for dining in. It's a pet peeve of mine to see all of the grease oozing out of fries in a brown bag. There were also Styrofoam plates and plastic straws, wish there were more environmental-friendly products. Might be back for brunch if there's a dine-in option.
