I wanted to order a pizza for delivery from here like I have done numerous times with no delivery fee. The guy who took my order was very rude when I told him I had never been charged a delivery fee after years of ordering from same address. He told me it would be $30 for a large thin crust pizza and I told him I didn't want it and he said I figured that and he hung up this is the second time I have had a problem with this same man and he is a racists, I just anyone of color to never visit this establishment until they are ready to treat all customers the same. This pizza is good, but the delivery and pickup service is beyond terrible. We ordered many pizzas for delivery through their online service at 7:10pm. We had a crew of 15 hungry people at our house. The app indicated that the order was out for delivery at 8:15. Long story short, at 9:12 our order was cancelled, no apology, no explanation. My house full of hungry people was disappointed. Don't let this debacle happen to you! Call and make 100% sure your order is in the works. Maybe even pick it up yourself. Their systems can't be trusted. We were staying at the Blue Chip Casino Hotel and wanted to say this pizza was absolutely delicious! Some of the best we've ever had! The customer service experience from the ordering on the phone, fair prices and super fast delivery was all 10/10. Pizza was very disappointing. The "stuffed" pizza was incredibly thin with very little ingredients inside. It also tasted very much like cardboard. The veggie pizza was slightly better but the crust was also incredibly thin and undercooked in the center. I understand times are tough for local businesses right now. Last night we ordered 3 16" pizzas for pick-up. When we opened up the pizzas, we noticed that they got our order wrong. We called up and spoke with the manager, who said he would fix the order and send it out with a driver. We said we would give the driver wrong one. After waiting an hour we called Little Giant to get an update on the delivery. We got voicemail. Another half hour passes, still no pizza. We called again, and though it was past closing time, people are normally still there cleaning up. The pizza never came. It is now a day later, Little Giant has been open for hours and there is still no response to the voice mails that were left yesterday. Instead of 7 people getting together for a pizza dinner, 4 people ate, and 3 people waited two hours for their pizza which never came from Little Giant. For the manner in which they handled this customer, if Yelp offered a zero star option, that would be my rating of Little Giant. read more

The pizza was a pleasant surprise. However, not only would I not recommend the place, I will tell everyone I know to NOT patronize this place. We had a little birthday party for a buddy and a friend ordered pizza for delivery. She prepaid by credit card and the pizza arrived before before she made it to the party. We didn't know she had already paid and we paid the delivery guy, Diamond, with cash (including a nice tip). The delivery guy was friendly and we even offered him a cigar. Once our friend arrived, we discovered that we double paid. We called and spoke to Diamond. Rather than coming clean, he insisted we were lying and accused us of all being drunk (which was far from the case). He then refused to give us the manager on the telephone. After calling a couple times, the manager said he would refund the credit card. He didn't. The are too many options to tolerate these types of unscrupulous business practices. read more

We ordered three pizzas after a long day on the beach. The pizzas arrived quickly and tasted fine, though they were very very greasy. We had some leftovers and stuck them in the fridge for the next day. Unfortunately, the pizza was inedible and card-board like when cold (which is sad, because cold pizza is one of my favorites), and was still barely edible when reheated. Growing up in Chicago, I must say it's not the absolute best thin pizza I ever had but it's very very good. Best in the Michigan City area in my book. And they've earned the 5 stars for being here forever and being so consistently good. And kudos to the owner. We have always loved Little Giants Pizza, probably my favorite in town BUT ever since new management has taken over we've had nothing but issues. The last two times we have ordered it took two hours for the pizza to be delivered and it was cold. I was nicely comped for my last pizza (so I thought). Called A few weeks later to order a pizza (it was supposed to be free) but all that happened was the manager, Dave, yelling and being extremely rude to me. We have been customers of this restaurant for 20 years. When Dave bought the business a few years ago, the service went down hill. Today we ordered our last pizzas from them. One of our 3 pizzas was made incorrectly, and they refused to fix it, stating that because they repeated the order back, it was not their fault. However, since we ordered the pizza with ranch instead of tomato sauce (due to a tomato allergy), it was not repeated, and the person placing the order did not think to repeat it a second time. When I called to request a replacement or a refund for that one pizza, we were treated very poorly, hung up on by the owner, and told they would not 'give away free pizza.' This is the second time this pizza has been made incorrectly, and last time, we were given a replacement with no issues. It's quite clear that when Dave is at his own restaurant, the customer service is terrible. We will not be ordering again. It is also notable that two of our family members worked there under both Tom (the previous owner) and Dave, and we were still treated this way, as someone he knows personally. Best pizza in Michigan City. By far. A couple other places are ok, but this place is worth the drive if they don't deliver to you.

So we finally tried this pizza, and must say we weren't missing anything. Sauce was sweet, too much sugar. Very greasy, but honestly flavor is not too bad. Biggest issue was that we kept finding long hairs in the pizza, seriously people, get a hairnet or you won't be around much longer. One or two hairs, that's a bad pizza. More than 5 and that is all we think about while we're eating (and we were starving, otherwise I would have driven it back and gotten a refund). I'm still going to give them a chance, so not a one star, but seriously they need to put in measures to keep hair out of the pizzas, otherwise they will probably get shut down faster than local water parks. read more
