ham sandwich

Stopped in this morning for the first time and was disappointed. The cold brew is practically water and the ham sandwich leaves much to be desired. I was hoping for more substance with the sandwich but unfortunately it was just buttered bread. I had better expectations considering the prices. Oh well!

I went by myself to have some snacks and a drink at the bar. I thought it was great. The bartender was super nice, very attentive. The ambiance inside is friendly, very clean, and welcoming. Service was prompt from the bartender. I thought the food was very good. I just got the mezze platter and some delicious olives plus a dessert. Suggestions from employees were on point. The food was very tasty. I've never had a meal in the actual restaurants, but I would highly recommend the bar. The only downside to the bar is that you're close to the kitchen and you can hear all the fuss that you probably normally wouldn't hear sitting at a table in the restaurant.

Charred spring pea and asparagus salad; fingerling potatoes with garlic aioli

Absolutely stunning. This place is gorgeous, and the food and drinks truly match. I had a beautiful floral cocktail that I liked so much I ordered another, and the fingerling potatoes with homemade garlic aioli were delish. I'll be dreaming about the charred spring pea and asparagus salad for the rest of my years - I almost regret getting this, because I was in town for just one day and will now wish I could have it all the time. The staff were super sweet, too. Definitely check this place out if you want some creative, seasonal dishes in a beautiful setting!

We had dinner here and were blown away by the whole experience from start to finish. Ambiance, service, and foot were outstanding. All courses were cooked perfectly.

This is the spot where The Amsterdam was. Little Goat has made changes to the decor which are lovely! It is bright, clean, modern and very pretty. We had breakfast here on Saturday. My husband enjoyed the French toast while I had a poached egg on arugula with prosciutto or Parma ham and grated Parmesan served with this wonderful round bread. The quality of the food is excellent! However the word for the day is "small". Water glass - small, coffee served in a tea cup, food portions - small. Also the staff is little indifferent. No one seems very happy or welcoming.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Rhinebeck. The staff is so friendly and informed about their cuisine. We had wonderful bread service, delicious Green Goddess Salad, a Kale Caesar to start. We had unique pasta dishes, including a celery root gnudi for our entrees and a delicious Spelt Olive Oil cake for dessert. The atmosphere is light and relaxing. We wish we had a Little Goat back in California

We went during a recent trip to Rhinebeck. The pastries and, more importantly, the iced latte were so good we went back the following day.

We had the squash bread with apple jam and the bone marrow + steak tartare as starters. Both were so good, especially the steak tartare that just tasted so clean and fresh, pairing nicely with the richness of the bone marrow. It came with these little potato slices that were scooped out to provide a perfect vehicle for the marrow/tartare. My partner had the carrot tart tartin, which he loved, and my scallops with morel mushrooms were perfectly cooked, with the hazelnuts providing such a nice texture. He enjoyed his phony negroni (they also had other NA options, including other mocktails, an NA beer, and an NA Riesling) and I really liked my Good Shepherd cocktail, their unique take on a dirty martini. We were too full for dessert, unfortunately. The service was great - attentive and friendly, but it felt like we were able to take our time and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed, even though the place was busy. It is definitely on the pricier side and I would recommend reservations as the place was pretty full, but I would absolutely recommend this spot for a delicious, quality meal in Rhinebeck!

However, we were met with an experience that really soured us on the restaurant. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated one table away from the window. Then another couple came in, likely had a reservation for the window seat, and were seated beside us. A little close, to be sure, since every other table was open, but we didn't mind. The guy at the window, though, obviously had a big problem with it, because (after first complaining to the host about the volume of the music -- "too loud") he immediately returned to the host stand to complain that we were seated too close, and that they wanted more space. Okay, I get it. But if you want more space, then YOU move. You don't ask the host to move other guests. We were comfortably seated and ready to order when the host approached us with a made-up story that we were mistakenly seated in a reserved table, and could we please move one table over. In hindsight we should have left right then and there. I understand that the host was attempting to defuse an absurd request from an entitled individual, but it truly put a damper on our dining experience. Toward the end of the evening, I suggested to the host that one guest's entitlement shouldn't cost another guest their seat. She was apologetic and obviously just wanted to keep window-man happy. She's young, and I don't fault her -- a more seasoned host might have found a way to smooth things over -- a genuine apology, a complimentary appetizer -- rather than leaving us to feel like an inconvenience. Honestly, I'm more irritated by the ridiculous customers who had us moved. I had a lot I wanted to say to them, but my wife diplomatically insisted that I refrain. We considered leaving a Yelp review, but that doesn't help anybody, and as I said, our past experiences at Cinnamon had all been very positive. In the end, it was just an uncomfortable situation that made me, at least, feel like a second-class customer in a restaurant I'd genuinely looked forward to returning to.

We did sit outside after 5 and it got busy as folks drove in and walked up after work. So, for us..I told hubby he didn't need to buy anything because he already had sweets in the hotel room. However once he had a look at the cases, he just had to buy something! His favorite is the lobster tail and cannoli and I had to get the black and white cookie. We sat outside and since I had to be on a call, hubby went in for a strawberry ice. No chocolate until the weekend . A couple of bites of the black and white cookie for me right away. It's not overly make my teeth rattle sweet and the crumb is very much like a cake. I ate the rest after dinner and it quickly had hardened. Hubby LOVED the lobster tail. 5 out of 5. Hubby took a taste of the cannoli and gave it a thumbs up. He enjoyed the water ice more than Ralph's because it wasn't as icy. Local businesses are so important to the local community and it seems that La Deliziosa is holding its own. Regardless let's keep them going!

The pancakes for some reason I feel like they make it similar to the papusas cuz it was like thinly sliced. Ain't nothing by wrong with that - just noticing.
