I want to love this place-small chain run by the owner; great food and one of only a couple Mediterranean restaurants in the area. The owner has been nice every time I've been in. The food is good-large portions and well-presented. The hole-in-the-wall atmosphere is more intimate and clean than greasy spoon. It's rarely crowded-just enough to keep them afloat I imagine. It seems like my kind of place, until the bill comes due. $40 for a regular Greek salad, one chicken pita and a two baklavas just puts the meal out of my comfort zone. It's not like I don't drop five times that at more exclusive restaurants, but Little Greek isn't at that level, and I'm always disappointed in the overall value. Owner was extremely rude to my family member as they complained about the quality of the food because it was so poorly made. Gyro had little to no meat & was extremely dry. He could've offered to just remake it instead of YELLING at my family member. Little Greek went way downhill.... I'm so disappointed. I eat here every time I come down from PA., because I don't have any good Greek food near me. I got a chicken gyro pita, Greek salad, tiramisu and a cannoli, $50!! My gyro was a burnt pc of grilled chicken not the gyro chicken and the salad was iceberg lettuce a little bit of feta one pepper ring, one olive, 2 pepperocini peppers, 3 cuke slices, red onion and two tomato wedges.(mostly lettuce) My hubby ate frozen pizza, so $50 for one person meal and 2 desserts, that's insane..Sorry, Little Greek, but I won't be returning. The Gyro here was amazing took me right back to Athens. There's no other Greek place in the area I've found to be as good as this one.

Excellent! I did pickup and ordered the lamb gyro and falafel in pita. When I called in my order, the gentleman clarified that we did not want the gyro meat that is sliced, but in fact wanted the lamb. I felt that was very helpful as it can be confusing what is on that tall skewer of meat. He said theirs is 95% beef, 5% lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly and was delicious with lettuce and tomato. The falafel wrap was moist and tender, not at all dry and seasoned perfectly. We had a side of hummus, certainly homemade and was very good. One surprise dish was the soup. It was a chicken-rice-lemony bowl of flavors. It was so good, that next time I go there, I'll order it again. Everyone was masked and the food prep person had on gloves. Definitely try Little Greek. UPDATE::: My only complaint---I picked up dinner today on my way home, and the young lady & young gentleman weren't masked. I give it a 5/5 stars, the food was fenomenal, very tasty and freshly made, the food arrived hot which is a plus, you can clearly see quality in the food. The restaurant is overall very clean, good seating, and the food menu very complete and has some great options to chose from including desserts. This place is tough to find. A tree blocks the view of the sign. Next to UPS store. My wife had a gyro. It was good. I had a lamb pita sandwich. It was also good, but not worth the extra cost over a gyro. The sauce overwhelms the taste of lamb. The potato salad is strange. More egg than potato. Service was very friendly and good, but it took a while to get the food. If you eat in the restaurant, they serve on real plates with metal utensils. A nice touch. read more

This Greek spot is a chain that is frequently seen in many shopping plazas across the state. This location is tucked in the corner of the larger plaza and has its own parking area. The food here is tasty, but the service and speed leave much more to be desired. On a typical lunch hour weekday, there were only two people working the ordering/cooking area. Do not support this location or owner. My family has been supporting this location for several months as a small business. This evening my daughter went in to order for our family and not only did he ignore her order for 25 minutes in order to fulfill online orders.. he told her he was "to busy and she needed to wait". Taking online order payments as they came in and continuing to ignore her. To make matters worse, she finally got fed up and walked out.. and when I called to speak with the owner he started yelling at me and asked me what "I'd like him to do with all the online orders?!" We ordered wraps. The inside was tasty. My hubby had the gyro wrap. It was much smaller than before but tasty. I had the falafel wrap. It was tasty but neither of us could eat the tortilla wrap. It was like leather. If you are going to order, ask for the pita, not the wrap (tortilla). I called to let them know about the problem and the owner said there was nothing wrong. Overpriced compared to the other Little Greek chain stores. It seems that this location sets their own prices which are more than the other location within 5 miles. I also compared the prices to other Little Greek locations in Florida and still it didn't match the prices of the other locations. I used to frequent often and the food is good but there is a major lack of integrity. The tip jar is not shared with the employees who work at this location. When a tip is left it should go to the workers. The owner keeps all the tips. If this is not so- I look forward to a response. workers should not fear telling customers that this is the truth. I am Greek and recently moved here and was excited to try this place. Owner nice, not Greek. Greeks take pride in portions and good food. I spent $45 and another $5 on top for a tip to get a gyros salad (decent) and a gyro sandwich that was all bread. I was lucky to get 4oz of meat on the sandwich. It was a pita bread sandwich. I walked in to find an older gentleman (possibly owner) fulfilling a salad order, placing the salad into the containers with his bare hands (IDK if he washed his hands or not but either way, a completely unsanitary practice. I was there for dessert anyway so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and attempted to order. As I was telling him what I wanted, another person walks in off the street and instead of taking my order he immediately ignores me while I'm mid sentence to help the other customer. We order Greek food everywhere we go. I vote this restaurant to be the worst Greek food ever. My chicken kebab was beyond overcooked. My grape leaves fell apart as soon as I cut into them because they were over cooked and dry. The pistachio didn't resemble anything that we've ever had to be pistachio. It was mushy and mush. The roasted potatoes were drier than dry absolutely no liquid at all and over seasoned. And the rice pudding you could have used as mortar for concrete walls. New trainee never properly drained the fries - just raised basket out of oil. Made too few so undercooked a small basket (also not drained). I have been to several of the Little Greek locations in the Tampa Bay area. The food and portion sizes are pretty consistent throughout. I was happy to know that we were getting a Little Greek in Apollo Beach. I have been going to the Riverview location most recently. At the Apollo Beach location, my husband and I were greeted by an 8 or 9 year old "hostess". Didn't appreciate her addressing someone old enough to be her grandparents as "guys". Also, the little girl, with waist length hair was constantly running through the prep area into the kitchen. Very unappetizing to see a child playing around the prep area. A cute little girl but please find a sitter instead of taking her to work with you. When I want anything from a Little Greek, I'll go somewhere else rather than Apollo Beach.
