I have visited numerous times over the years and have continued to get the Trietto Ala Vodka and enjoy it each and every time. One thing that consistently happens here is that they rush you. We ordered cocktails and she immediately wanted to take our food order. I asked if our food would come before the cocktails because we didn't want that and she assured us it wouldn't. Within 5 minutes she brought garlic knots and salads and our drinks hadn't arrived, so I wasn't happy. Next time I won't order food until after my cocktail arrives. Food was good as usual. read more

Was visiting from out of town and saw this place on yelp and decided to check it out . I came with my Mom and daughter . The place is small and wasn't too busy . Simple layout and decor . We ordered the penne Ala vodka and the chicken parm as well as the mama Mia ! First the penne vodka it was pretty good but the pasta was so soft and overcooked . Needed some more flavor but it was still good . The mama Mia is a combo of pasta chicken parm and lasagna. That also was just ok needed some help but it was good enough . I did enjoy the complimentary garlic knots the waitress was very good kept checking and was pleasant the whole time . In closing would I go again maybe prices were also fair . Had a nice dinner with friends. Nice menu and good service. The space is big and tables are spread apart. I like their plate of mini Arancini. Makes it easy to share. I had a taste for their spaghetti and meat sauce which was so big I'll get another meal. My wife had the Flounder Lemoncello which was terrific and big enough for another meal. read more

So I went here with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday. Very classy restaurant. The staff was professional and alert. Our server checked in now and then to see if we needed more drinks. Dinner came fairly quick after the appetizers. I decided to go with Spaghetti Modo Mio with meatballs. I honestly didn't know what to expect but needless to say, I was far from disappointed. Great visit to The Vineyards last night! We wanted to find a cozy local Italian place, and this wasn't too far from the Riverview area! Everything was great. We didn't have to wait but 10 minutes for a table, although they were busy on a Friday night so I would suggest reservations for larger parties! Prices were reasonable. We split a bottle of wine, had an app and 2 entrees for $100. I had the chef special which was a penne, vodka sauce, with a large ball of fresh cheese, meatballs, and sausage. We started with appetizers the fried calamari, which was great! Also, we had the Trietto pasta which as it sounds, had 3 types of pasta. So yummy all around! I would give this place a 5, but it took about 10 minutes to be greeted when we came in the restaurant with a reservation. Other than that, it was great! The inside reminds me of a mom and pop Italian restaurant. White table cloths and cute decor. The food was great, many gluten free options. Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, we chose the Vineyard, one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, we made the wrong choice. Our waiter was charming, pleasant and funny but totally disregarded our "we are not in a rush". Salad came seconds after our cocktails. He then told us our appetizer was coming out with our dinner - not happy with that. Appetizer then came out a few minutes before our dinner so we scarfed down the app and the entree wasn't hot. Food was amazing, drinks delicious, but wanting a relaxed, no pressure dinner didn't happen. From sit down to check was 55 minutes. He did throw in a slice of chocolate cake, but we would have preferred a relaxing dinner. read more

The ambience is that of a fine dining establishment. The food taste is the same. Food comes out very hot. The flavor was beyond good flavorful with every single bite. After eating for 30 minutes, our food was still hot. The Shrimp Cristina was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was juicy and the lemon caper sauce was just right. The Alfredo was creamy. The portion size is huge. If you can eat all this food in one setting...I don't know if that's scary or very impressive. We literally could've had leftovers from The kids portion. I'll start by saying the food was amazing!!! I could have just ate the bread and salad, both so good. The sangria was one of the best I ever had. I had the Shrimp Christina, (had to). It was so good. I was pleased the lightness of the lemon in the entree. It was so fresh. My husband had the eggplant entree. He loved his too. Unfortunately I don't remember the waitress's name. At first there was only one young lady serving, who's very pleasant and efficient, and very pretty - hope this last adjective isn't going to get me in trouble with Yelp and anyone else. Looking at the booth in front of us, we decided no appetizers. We've 3 main courses Chicken piccata Eggplant Parmesan Veal Parmesan The spaghetti is al dent and all are pretty delicious. .., and huge portion: the reason is bec they're off the dinner menu when we thought we ordered off the lunch menu (so many menus ...) Maybe the staff should confirm it at time of ordering, to avoid any confusion. We were going to pay but they re-ran the bill. I think they put dinner menu out during the lunch time, is just to give dinners more choice. We ended up with a few doggie bags - I took their bread too - they are warm and delicious, and probably will be threw away. Btw, I've been talking about spoons (dessert mostly) - their pasta spoon is HUGE, has to be the biggest I've seen in a restaurant so far. Went to The Vineyards Trattoria for dinner on a Saturday evening. Not sure I'll return and here's why! We arrived with a reservation and approached the hostess stand. They were lovely and escorted us to a table. Our server Luca approached, introduced himself and honestly he couldn't have been any sweeter or knowledgeable!! We proceeded to order. For starters we were given a salad for two to share. It wasn't anything special and was ok, but it was free and came with dinner. Luca brought out some garlic rolls. This was probably the first time in my life I passed on a garlic roll after one bite!! They were extremely dry and needed much more oil & garlic. For appetizer my husband and i shared an eggplant rollatini. It was good but I've had better elsewhere. In my opinion too much sauce & cheese to taste the eggplant! For dinner we both ordered the Veal Saltimbocca which is described as the following: SCALLOPPINE SALTIMBOCCA Veal scallopine with smoked prosciutto, topped with sauteed baby spinach and fresh mozzarella cheese in a light Marsala wine sauce served with linguine... The prosciutto on BOTH of our dinners was inedible! It was like eating rubber. I'm not sure why and I've never experienced this. I've ordered this particular dish in many Italian restaurants over the years. It's a favorite of mine, and this one was completely disappointing!! The spinach was a miss as well. There was hardly any in the dish. The dish was swimming in sauce. The pasta should've been in a separate dish with the sauce. There is a huge parking lot so parking is easy here. I'm trying to be honest in my review! This restaurant has many great reviews but for me it totally missed the mark. The fact that I couldn't even chew part of my food leaves me no choice. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Good thing we made reservations. Place was busy. We were greeted by our waiter who was a very nice young man named Luca. He answered several questions we had about the menu. He then brought garlic rolls and a bottle of Pellegrino we asked for. There is a full bar menu available We started out with the eggplant rollatini, which was very good For entrees we both had the veal saltimbocca. Not only has the food quality gone down in this restaurant but a group of friends and I were recently there waiting for our server to come back with our change and cards after paying the bill. A man who said he was the manager came up and told us we needed to leave the table because people were waiting, as if we were just lallygagging and taking up a spot when we were actively waiting to be checked out. Not only was our waitress not back with our bills but he was extremely rude and made multiple paying customers feel like we were not wanted in the establishment. We will not be returning after the manager talked to us so rudely. As a manager you should be making sure each guest has a good experience and instead the manager was the reason our whole experience was ruined. The management has absolutely gone down hill but I will say our server was lovely and I'm sad our whole experience was tainted by that manager. read more
