4/5. Needed a pick-me up in the morning, and Little Green Cyclo was walking distance from the hotel. Decided to give their Viet Coffee a try, because why not. The Food: With this place being the only place close to my hotel for some Viet coffee, I decided to stop by and give it a try. The coffee was decent, came in a nice little carton. Wasn't the best Vietnamese coffee I've had, but did the job for a quick stop. The Service: Service was good. You order through a kiosk and the staff prep your orders. The staff were pretty fast with getting orders out, so that w nice. The Atmosphere: Plenty of seating inside. It is located inside of a work/office building and the sign outside is a little small. So it's easy to miss if you don't know. Very spacious and modern looking inside. Overall, a 4/5. Decent Vietnamese coffee. Quick service for on the go or just to stay and relax.

So happy they have a location! I used to go to their food truck often, years ago. Not cheap. But food and coffee are delicious. There's plenty of seating inside.

Come here every time I work in office. Love this place. Food is great, may get busy during lunch hour but still doable. Banh Mi sandwich is great and Chicken bowls as well.

Food is pretty good but it's quite overpriced. $18 for a bowl of noodles! That said, portions are decent

The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which made the whole sandwich come together really well. The service was also really good, the staff was friendly and worked pretty fast, which I appreciated. I've actually been coming here for the past 5 years, and every time it's consistently this good. You can really taste the freshness in everything they make. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

Here's the good and the bad of it...really tried to be fair, even though we didn't know what to expect. We spent $90 and got five things. 1) Imperial rolls: A MUST - our favorite item 2) Crunchy nem rolls: Avoid - didn't care for these. Didn't contain some of the ingredients advertised and felt like they were made the night before 3) lemon grass beef rice plate: Wasn't what we expected. We thought we were getting bbq'd lemongrass beef and I think this was cooked and then put in a crockpot or something. The taste was fine, but the look and texture was kind of grey and bland 4) five spice chicken salad: LIKED THIS - really enjoyed the flavor of the chicken and the contents of the salad - would def get this again 5) lemon grass beef bun mi - bread and pickled veggies were great, didn't care for the meet Would recommend 2 out of 5 dishes and would return for those dishes. All part of trying new places.

I ordered to-go but they have a few tables available for in-person dining. I paid about $25.50 for the bun bo hue and an order of angel wings. The angel wings - omg super bomb. I loved the flavor and texture on these, which I will be getting a lot. Bun bo hue - soo good! The noodles and broth are super flavorful, and I love the meat variety in this one. I first came here years ago, so I was excited to try it again and see how it compares. I'm always happy to support a local mom-and-pop business. (Cash only) The service was good and the food came out faster than I expected. I got the Vietnamese coffee and it wasn't too sweet, plus they didn't overload it with ice, which I liked. For mains, we ordered the Pho Tai Bo Vien with rare steak and meatballs, and the Bun Rieu. If I'm being honest, something felt different with the flavor of both dishes than what I'm used to, and the garnishes didn't appear to be too fresh so we held off on adding much. It wasn't bad, just not the classic clean taste I was hoping for. That said, we both still finished our bowls and left satisfied. It definitely tastes homemade. Nothing amazing, but comforting. And for $13, I think it's still worth stopping by to try it out and support a small local business.

The service at both is always quick and efficient. This location is larger and I like that their menu is broader. They serve several dishes the other location doesn't. This time around, we ordered some regular items and tried a couple of new dishes. The galbi, spicy pork, fried chicken wings and veggie pancake are always delectable. I love the crispiness of their pancakes. We also tried the fluffy steamed egg and bulgogi ddukbokk (bulgogi and rice cake in a sauce). They are both dishes I would order again. I also love Mom's banchan. The SSF now has half orders of some dishes. This was perfect since we only wanted a little of the spicy pork and half an order of the chicken wings. Overall, a fantastic meal and my mouth is watering thinking about what we ate there!

Overall: 3.6/5 Got bulgogi stone pot bibimbap. Heavy on the veggies and good portion size. However, there wasn't much flavor on the bulgogi and the stone pot added no crispiness to the rice or veggies that were touching it. Felt like it was missing something texturally. Overall it was fine, but for the price I wouldn't get it again. The other item ordered was the spicy pork with tofu soup combo. Tofu soup was fine, but again lacked depth or a different flavor note. Spicy pork was good, flavored and marinated well, and cooked great. Banchan given was good. Service was good and food was out prompt.

A friend is a frequent diner here with his family…read more Seeing his numerous FB posts, I am often reminded of how long it's been since my last visit to Hong Kong. With a recent boom in HK street food especially cha chaan teng (tea and meal eateries), I suggested meeting several friends for an early dinner here. This place has been here a while, before the ongoing trend emerged. I arranged a meetup with a peninsula friend to meet there for an early midweek dinner before 6 pm. They have a private parking lot so that was not an issue. Walking in, we noticed the order station and menu on the left (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=VXnwmT7l57Wujd4yMeyvlQ) and a cooking area to the right (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=h5fu-B6JPAxM-VFU_pDTYw). As we studied the menu, the discussion among us three was that we wanted to eat multiple menu items. After a few minutes, we ordered our meals one by one, adding two appetizers to share. After my friend first paid for our meal, he chose a table in the middle dining area. I noticed a water station near the cashier and brought three plastic cups for my friends and me. With this being a somewhat cafeteria style format, a gal brought our food a short time later. Here's what I tried: Appetizers, shared 1. Popcorn chicken (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=W18wgtSMHw0g-EqytrQpDA) - Very solid version as this came temperature hot. It was spot on crispy and the white pepper seasoning very true to the recipe. Nice that they provided skewer sticks and we ate barely half if this with the generous portion. 2. XO sauce mini rice noodles (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=uLIWGlflOZKINVlxMoS7PA) - For a mini, I was surprised with the food amount. Unlike dim sum house versions, the ingredients are not stir-fried and merely mixed with the sauce mostly on top with a soy sauce oil mix lining the bottom. It was tasty and a good-sized serving. Main 3. Beef stew wonton noodle soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=F8_RGDn1cEfD1emWUdaWvA) - I forget whether there were four or five relatively large wonton dumplings with the thinner chewy egg noodles here. The beef stew pieces were tender and seasoned well making for a tasty bowl. The bowl size that I thought was smaller actually held a good amount of food where I just had enough stomach space to finish it. There were plenty of white turnip pieces (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=-HvCGJqyvrNOKF7cgacOog). This is a hearty meal. When we arrived, there were only two tables of diners (couples) as we found our table. By the time we left, there were families and couples there and the dining room was about half full. There was a steady flow of takeout orders being picked up too. A family of three sat at a mah jong table (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=xGkgRuG-bFIBlDaHkUyszA) but merely to play with the tiles. With the recent gained popularity in mah jong events and the like, the theme here was ahead of its time. I will probably return with friends to try other menu items and perhaps save room for a drink or dessert too.

Mine was the sampan jook (porridge) which was $18. Consistency was right but it didn't have any seafood so wasn't a true sampan porridge at all. Sampan is literally the flat wooden boat that fisherman would take out in the HK pier, and the jook would be made with whatever they catch, typically shrimp, squid and so forth. Here, there were pieces of char siu and some pig skin. Tasty but not sampan and not worth the marked up price. My husband said his char siu was good, but roast pork not edible. Boba was not bad at all.
