Madeline was able to introduce self-directed feeding strategies in a fun and engaging way, through which he became far more comfortable with a much broader range of food textures and tastes. Her focus on positive feeding strategies/parent coaching was also a game changer for us at meal times and helped us reinforce all the work in their one-on-one sessions. We will miss working with her!

I was assigned a student who, while knowledgeable, was inexperienced in a clinical setting. This was disappointing, but the student was enthusiastic and appeared to have a good understanding of my condition. After 2 visits, I had regressed quite a lot due to overloading a muscle group. I think the initial assessment of my strength and muscle stamina was incorrect and the student didn't modify my exercises appropriately. This resulted in severe cramping and muscle stiffness and has caused other conditions I have to flare-up. I am worse off now than when I started. I do not blame the student for my bad experience, but I do blame CTS for their poor therapy/training structure. The licensed physical therapist, named Bill, who was in the office, did not supervise the student. Bill did not assess me or observe the student while he was assessing me. Bill did not observe us while I was receiving instruction and performing exercises. I believe it is inappropriate for a student to be given full authority over patient assessment and treatment before they are a licensed professional. If you don't want a student treating you without supervision, I suggest you go to a different location. I canceled my future appointments and I will look for a different physical therapist after my flair-up calms down.

My…read moreson receives both OT and speech therapy here, and it's been amazing to see how much he's grown since starting. We've had the opportunity to work with several wonderful therapists, and we're grateful for all of them. I'd also like to mention his speech therapists, Ms. Dana and Ms. Jena, and Mr. Joseph (OT therapist) to who have been such an important part of his progress. They've taken the time to get to know my son, incorporate his interests into each session, and keep him engaged and motivated to learn. They also do a great job keeping us involved by sharing his progress after each session and giving us ideas for what we can continue working on at home. Watching my son grow in his communication skills has been incredibly rewarding. We know that progress didn't happen overnight, and we're so grateful for the patience, encouragement, and dedication his therapists have shown him. We're so thankful we found OC Speech Services and couldn't ask for a better team to be part of my son's journey.

At 77 years of age, having been both a nurse and a clinical psychologist, I've seen my share of doctors and he's simply the best. Its a huge relief to have a doctor I can count on. I know that, with his concierge practice, if I call with a question or needing an appointment, one of his excellent staff will actually answer the phone, make an appointment or have Dr. Weiss call me back in a timely fashion, without the "eternal holds" common with many medical practices. He's very professional while being quite friendly, always appears unhurried, and is skilled in handling my (sad to say) current geriatric issues. Although I like to think I know everything, Dr. Weiss will listen and then tell me gently what I actually need...a relief! His referrals are appropriate when needed and the one time I had a semi-urgent problem his associate, Dr. Van Meter, called me back within an hour and took care of it. More recently, I convinced my husband, a neurologist, to join Dr. Weiss's practice and he has been very impressed with his low key, but appropriate approach to his treatment. If we were asked to rate this practice, we'd both give it an A+ for the skilled physicians, the lovely staff, and the quality of medicine practiced!
