Here is my tiny veal Parmesan sandwich (apple for scale, no banana available) Ordered extra peppers, got a very scant amount, well I guess it's better the missing items from previous order. Now as much as Portillo's has disappointed me since they sold out, they still give a decent amount for the price plus add on's. And they don't over charge for a simple tamale like this place does. You can see by the dimensions of the veal in the sandwich that it only added "some" meat flavor., same for the sauce and cheese. I basically ordered a small flavored bread sandwich. I had a really great experience here. It's been about four years since I've been back to Little Joe's, and nothing has changed. It's still just as good as always. I'm back in town for work and, even though I'm in the area often, I just haven't made it back here. Now I wish I had come sooner. Instead of my usual beef sandwich, I went with a cheeseburger, and it was insanely good. The burgers are cooked over an open flame, the fries were perfectly done, and the folks working there were incredibly friendly. I'm already looking forward to coming back. If I could leave this place no stars I would. The lady working the register was nice. The place seemed was cleaned. My issue was the food. We ordered a bbq bacon burger and double hamburger. First, both hamburgers patties tasted as though they don't clean the grill, and the meat was way over cooked. Secondly, the bacon burger did not look appetizing at all it was thrown together. There was literally one piece of bacon-thank goodness it was thick cut-.They dumped bbq sauce all over it. I'm not sure what kind of oil they used to fry the French fries but even those tastes bad.
