The latter was an excellent combination of flavors and textures, the savory and crunchiness of the bread with the soft creaminess and (not overwhelming) sweetness of the cheese and honey. The cacio e pepe had a high bar to clear as a result, but did so handsomely. The pasta had a pleasant bite, and the pepper and cheese were excellent. In short, a great experience. Over the past few weeks I've encountered broken air conditioning, broken fountain drink machine with no offer for a bottle of water, sticky tables, musty smell, no potstickers or other side items (happens frequently). Add to this some nasty staff with perpetual attitudes and bad moods and this place is best avoided. It has gotten progressively worse. There are plenty other restaurants in downtown La Grange to choose from. I recommend trying them.
