We've had a wonderful experience at Little Kids Dentistry SF! The entire team is kind, patient, and amazing with children. They make every visit fun and help my kids feel comfortable from the moment we walk in. They also have an amazing indoor playground while they are waiting. The dentists and staff take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and never make us feel rushed. The office and playground is clean, welcoming, and clearly designed with kids in mind. Unfortunately, our experience with the pediatric dentist was disappointing. He was short with us, not very informative, and seemed dismissive when I explained that my son is severely autistic and would not be able to cooperate with certain procedures. Rather than taking the time to understand his special needs, he came across as rude and unhelpful. That being said, the front office staff were wonderful and very accommodating. I especially want to recognize Juan and Eli, the dental assistants, for their kindness, patience, empathy, and understanding toward my son. They made a stressful situation much easier and treated him with compassion and respect. Employees like them are invaluable and truly deserve recognition and a raise! Our experience at Little Kids Dentistry was absolutely fantastic! My daughter had a nagging toothache, and we were fortunate enough to get a same-day appointment. From the moment we walked in, the front office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Dardashti were all incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. The office has a wonderful play area where my daughters enjoyed themselves while we waited -- a huge plus when you have little ones. Dr. Dardashti was transparent about his concerns, clearly explained our treatment options, and took care of my daughter's teeth right away. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp, and I'm glad I did. Love our Little Kids Dentistry. My daughter has been growing with them. I love to see her feel welcome and able to interact with staff. Their compassion helps her to calmly meet their check-up requirements. She got x-rays this time around. I was impressed. However, she has an awesome medical assistant that intuitively met her needs. She spoke to my daughter in her preferred language. She primed my daughter to the experience. She was calmed and respected when my daughter didn't want to use the machine to clean her teeth. Instead, she listened to my daughter and cleaned her teeth with a tooth brush. I love these experiences. It helps meet my daughter's dental need and emotional well being. First visit with our 2 year old. The kids waiting room was clean, full of toys and activities for the kids. The Dentist and staff were all very professional and courteous. The dentist took the extra steps to win over our daughter and Interacted and explained what he would do. The whole process took minutes and stress was minimal for everyone. I called to make three dentist appointments for my kids, and the woman who answered was so very kind. Upon arrival we were greeted and helped promptly. The waiting room was so big and filled with toys, a play place, cars, a tv, and the best part was the comfy couches for the parents ;) the Second Lady who took the X rays was so friendly with my children! We originally were going to go to direct dentist but I'm glad we chose this location. The staff makes the over all environment a peaceful atmosphere for the nervous children. There's many places, maybe check those out. Parking SUCKS. It's in a shared lot with the gym can't remember the name so it gets limited quick. I had to make a parking spot to avoid being late. Do that at your own risk. The assistant was ok, she didn't really explain the procedures to my kid, which she totally could have made her more at ease. She cried the whole appointment and the assitant looked like she was wearing thin. Maybe cause it was towards the end of the day. Anyhow the doctor was nice. The worst part of this experience is the front desk held on to my drivers license for week, no call, no email. This was even AFTER I asked for it back during the initial visit. She said she would give it back at the end of my visit cause she was still doing my paperwork. She didn't. Normally it would be an easy fix right, just pick it up BUT this interfered with me taking a state test. I didn't realize it was missing till test day so I had to reschedule AND REpay for the test AND application. They did refund me partially (thanks) but I dont think it was sufficient. You guys caused the miss so you should pay..period. FYI, they were giving out prizes for reviews so some that are here might not be the most authentic. I dont know that I'll go back. The parking alone is enough for me to say no. Thanks anyway. read more
