Food here is awesome, the chicken is seasoned so well and really crispy. Portion sizes are also very generous and service is quick. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good fried chicken!

Very friendly staff got hot fires and regular fires and they were decent . As a vegan I enjoyed their fries but for $5.00 absolutely never again

We live right by here and have never tried it- and I don't know why? It was so good! We got the Sando chicken sandwich - medium heat with fries and slaw. The Sandwich was so juicy and the heat level was good. Slaw was vinegary and fries were crispy. The staff were nice and the place looked clean! We took our food to go and everything traveled well! Will be returning in the future!

I've never been to the brick and mortar location, but I had a chance to visit the Little Lou's food truck. In the past my friends had told me that Little Lou's had great chicken, and while I was excited to try it, I didn't think it would be *that great* because how much different can a chicken sandwich be than all of the others? I was mistaken. It was honestly such a great sandwich. I had the sando with mild heat. It was the perfect amount of spice for me, and the chicken was soooo crunchy and flavorful. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I think I typically expect food truck food to be sub-par, but I was so impressed by this sandwich. Aside from being super busy, the staff was well organized and got everyone's food out in a timely manner. I'll have to visit the brick and mortar location to try it out, too!

Excellent Nashville hot chicken! I had their sando (sandwich) and a side, their southern slaw. I ordered the sandwich mild heat but could have easily done the medium. (First time trying so I err on the side of caution). I didn't love their slaw, (liked it tho), too many onions for my liking so I'd get another side next time. The sandwich was very good but it could've used more sauce on it (I was too lazy to go inside for more). Cute interior and a lot of outdoor seating too. Everything was clean which was nice including the bathrooms. Also a positive, they had their own parking lot. I'm definitely coming back!

Small little dining space indoor, larger outdoor space but tasty food! We got mild and regular friend chicken tender plates. I was worried of the heat since I'm pregnant and heartburn is unreal but definitely could have gone hotter! Very crispy, very yummy, and the crinkle cut fries are awesome. And the beans were almost like a soup, large side portion I ate over a couple days. Quick and friendly service too! We had the banana cream pie too - a fun twist to typical banana pudding . We will be back for sure

We tried some hot chicken when Littke Lou's food truck was at Urbanrest Brewery and really enjoyed it. Portions are HUGE--we both got the 3-piece tenders, and really--we could have shared. 3 big tenders went home with us. We shared an order of fries & coleslaw. Loved the vinegar style coleslaw, very good! We ordered our chicken medium hot & it was spicy by not too too hot--perfect. It came with two dipping sauces too, one was ranch, the other was similar to a Thousand Island. Thank you, Little Lou's!!!

Little Lou's was a great find on my Saturday afternoon adventure in Berkeley/RO. I was looking for something tasty and fast, and they delivered! The space is small and casual with outdoor seating. Good spot for a quick family meal as opposed to going to a fast food chain. I kept it simple and ordered the Sando medium heat and a side of collard greens. My order was ready within 10 minutes and the staff brought it to my table. The chicken on the sando was juicy and the perfect size. Not too spicy with the pickles and Cole slaw. It did get a little messy but that's what a good fried chicken sandwich is all about. The collard greens were just okay. Collard greens are one of my favorite foods so I may be picky. I found these ones needed more smoked meat or something to make them more savory. And could have been cooked a little more. I did order the banana pudding pie to go and that was perfect. Will be returning for the pie and sandwich for sure!

The chicken pics look pretty good on here, let's see how they taste and if it's really hot or not. It's located on the corner of Coolidge and Catalpa at the light. They have a patio with quite a few tables. 7 tables inside. Benches while you wait. Their music seems a tad too loud, then again our seat is right by the speaker, which we picked since the seat seemed out of the way. We ordered two chicken tender combos one hot with fries with the shake sauce ($0.50, which costs them pennies), and slaw and the other one with slaw and potato salad and extra side of pickles ($0.75) and side of their comeback sauce. $28.89. They didn't give us a number, they only took our name down. The woman that took our order asked if the order was wrong. Guess she doesn't recall our order at all. Tried to give side of beans, which wasn't on either of orders. She asked if "they" gave us a number. She took our order. We said just said no One order was short one tender, they would bring it out to us shortly, since they ran out with the latest rush of orders. The slaw isn't too bad, okay flavor, it's nicer since it's a vinegar instead of a creamy slaw, but a hit bland. The medium tenders are nicely seasoned. The hot tenders are quite good and spicy for my husband. Nice and crispy too, seems like they double fry to get out crispy. The potato salad is very creamy, but bland. The side containers are deceptive, it looks like you are getting more, but the inside container bottom actually cokes up about a half inch from the bottom. I had one bite of gristle in my tenders, not a lot, but a piece of gristle or cartilage in a bite of it. The chicken tenders were still pretty good and not too dry inside.

This is not my first review nor will it be my last. I order delivery. When I went in person one time... they were careless and gave the "heir" that they were snobs and not anxious to serve. That's the ambiance. Nouveau riche. Not attractive. The food is nonetheless consistent.

Now, objectively I can say it's very good. The portions are huge, the meat is flavorful and juicy, the peppers were good. There's just some herb or something mixed in there in the marinade/aus jus, that I just don't think I like (I think it might be fennel? Something kind of licorice-y that I don't jive with). But if you're an Italian beef fan, or enjoy that flavor profile, you're gonna love it! Now, what I did love was everything else! The fried ravioli? Delicious! The french fries? So good! And a very generous portion of both! Service was also VERY friendly and everything was prepared quite quickly! It's a walk up window but there are some picnic tables for dining there, though I chose to eat in my car before making my way back home. I would 100% come back by and go for perhaps a sausage or a coney dog next time, definitely stick with orders of those ravioli and fries, too!

Before I even got to the food, the restaurant itself made a great first impression. The property is incredibly well maintained inside and out. There's a spacious outdoor patio for Michigan summer days, along with plenty of indoor seating ranging from communal tables for larger groups to individual booths if you're flying solo. It's a thoughtfully designed space that feels welcoming no matter why you're there. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll admit something that surprised me. I've been to Detroit probably 50 times, and I honestly can't remember ever hearing about a Detroit-style cheesesteak. Judging by the walls covered in awards and accolades, though, it's clearly something they're known for. The sandwich certainly sounds like a winner on paper: ribeye and sirloin, provolone and Swiss cheeses, roasted mushrooms and peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapeños, aioli, house-made vinaigrette, all served on a freshly baked sesame roll. I mean... what's not to love? Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn. The ingredients themselves are good. The flavors are there. The problem is the execution. The ratios are simply off. The freshly baked roll completely dominates the sandwich, overwhelming everything inside it. The steak gets lost between all that bread, and instead of each bite showcasing the beef, cheese, and vegetables working together, the bread becomes the star--and that's not what you want from a cheesesteak. I do want to give credit where it's due. The portions are generous, and I especially appreciated that they take the time to make their own dipping sauces for the fries. Little details like that don't go unnoticed. There are plenty of positives here, and it's easy to see why Detroit 75 Kitchen has earned such a loyal following. But as someone who takes sandwiches seriously, I think this one is technically flawed. A great sandwich is all about balance, and for me, this one never found it. I genuinely wanted to love it. This sandwich lover just couldn't get behind the way it was built.
