I ordered a large iced matcha with peach puree, unsweetened but added a squeeze of sweetener from the bottle they had out on the counter. It was delicious, fresh, and high quality. I usually worry that matcha drinks will be too sweet or too milky, covering up the matcha flavor, but I trust that here that would not be the case even ordering their drinks sweetened. The cold foams also sounded interesting, and I would definitely return to try them if back in the area!

A gem of a place full of visitors on the weekends. Wow! I'm blown away. Definitely worth a visit if you don't mind splurging a bit for some fresh matcha tea variety and homemade pastries. ! Not much room to sit but the cute vibe and we got the Jasmine matcha lightly sweetened. I recommend it. The other colorful strawberry matcha. Also yuzu cheesecake.be prepared to spend some money.

This place has great reviews so I was excited to try it. They offer classic matcha and hojicha plus seasonal holiday drinks, which is fun. I appreciated that everything is hand-whisked and measured - you can tell there's intention behind it. That said... it didn't fully hit for me. The matcha had good color but wasn't as umami or flavorful as I prefer. I can't drink dairy or oat milk, so I picked their califia farm coconut/almond milk and I just don't love that flavor. I really wish they had a barista style almond milk option for a creamier texture. The space itself is super cute with seating in the back, and overall it's solid - just not my personal favorite but I'm glad I visited

Super excited to try Little Matcha as a matcha specialty shop! It's the first in the area, so I couldn't wait to try. Due to the season I missed the Strawberry Matcha, so I tried the Biscoff instead. It was very good and the perfect amount of sweet! The girls working were very friendly and helpful as well! Love this little spot nestled in Covington!

My friends and I came to visit this new store on a Saturday and tried several different flavors. My Honeycrisp Apple Matcha had a very light apple flavor. The Banana Bread and Pumpkin Cream had stronger flavors, and the Pumpkin one was definitely creamier/heavier due to the foam on top. Despite the subtlety of the apple flavor, I enjoyed my matcha and it was refreshing. I believe the seating in the back of the store is currently temporarily closed, but there are two small tables outside and some window seating. It is a relatively small space, but there is cute and simple decor. My only qualm with this spot is the price. Paying almost $10 (drink + oat milk + tax) for an iced 12 ounce drink, plus more for tip, is just way too much. I want to support a new small business, and one that specializes in matcha, but I think it is just sadly far out of what I'm willing to pay for.

Great quality Matcha which is hard to find, I got the strawberry sago matcha with whole milk and it was really good! Pro tip if you like sweeter matcha than extra simple syrup. The service was really good and they made sure that you were very well informed with what we were getting. The shop is very small though and maybe only fits 5 customers max at a time. We went right when it opened on a Sunday and the line was out the door! they just opened in October 20 25 and seemed like they're doing great. I hope they expand!

First off, though this shop is small, they know how to treat customers like they're your bestie and rollout the drinks at an insane rate. The menu options are endless... you could mix and match your matcha, milk choice, flavors, sweeteners, etc so many different ways I don't think you'd ever get tired of going here. We visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and the line was long, but quick and worth the wait. The sweet guy taking orders was happy to answer the endless questions every customer had without even a blink. I honestly can't remember what we even ordered in the end, all I know is it was delicious and I can't wait to get back and try the next combination!

The cutest matcha spot! But very tiny. Little to no room for seating. And I got the seasonal drink and the cookie. Yum!

    Crime in Progress

It started like a normal day in the small town of Covington, Kentucky. Early meetings. A deep need for caffeine. And a shirt so bright it had clearly mistaken confidence for a legal defense. I walked into Little Matcha expecting a drink. What I got was an intervention. As always, I was greeted by the usual cast of enthusiasm, kindness, and mutual appreciation for making sure I actually understood the menu. (Take that other Nick)... But then, in a moment of rare courage, an up and coming Matcha Employee of the Month spotted a crime in progress. The crime? My shirt. This orange shirt, one my own wife had never warned me about, (Concerning?), was apparently too bright to be allowed in public without supervision. Risking great personal consequence, online trolling, and what I can only assume would be a wave of bot generated AI reviews, this brave matcha professional stopped the fashion offense in its tracks. And somehow, while saving the town from my shirt, Little Matcha still managed to make an incredible drink. That is the magic of this place. The matcha is great, the people are even better, and they care enough about their customers to serve both high quality drinks and hard truths. Five stars for the matcha. Five stars for the service. One formal warning for the shirt.

CUTEST little matcha store!! As a huge matcha lover, I was excited to see a speciality matcha store open. I went right when they opened so it seemed they were still training employees and getting the hang of things. It did take a while to get my drink. However, the wait was worth it!! The strawberry match was incredible. They have cute seating to hang out with a friend or complete some work. I will be back!

I've only had one other matcha latte in my life (from a different coffee shop), and I hated it; I threw it away after a few sips. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous to give it another go, especially at $9 each. However, my husband and I both LOVED our drinks from Little Matcha! We got an iced ube and hot biscoff (with oat milk). Both were delicious, not bitter nor too sweet, very balanced. Can't wait to see what flavors they come up with next. We'll be back!

So so so good and the service was amazing!! They were super accommodating for my friend who had never had matcha before and customized the sweetness for her. Such a cute matcha shop!!

This place has the best matcha I've ever had from a cafe/bar. I went back two days in a row. I'm sad I live in Oregon and can't make this place a regular drink spot. I tried the OG matcha with strawberry puree and the Hojicha with red bean sago the next. Both delicious. I will absolutely be going back next time I'm in the area.

The matcha lattes include milk and little sweetener so I customized with oat milk and simple syrup.
