    Pistachio matcha

Such a good vibe. I stopped in during a recent trip to Cincinnati. I thought the concept of matcha and manga was unique and definitely very niche. The service was great! The barista broke down the menu which was basically matcha with hot water, iced matcha or iced hojicha and then the specialty matchas- which were strawberry matcha and pistachio matcha. I also liked that the syrups were made in house and they ask what sweetness level you'd like ! I chose the pistachio with level one sweetness of their vanilla bean syrup. The barista took their time making the drink and I appreciate that. The space itself was clean and there is a decent amount of seating. My drink was perfection ! I wish I could have gotten back there before I went back home, but now I just have a reason to visit again.

Amazing service!!! The young man that assisted me was so knowledgeable about the products they offer and helped me to craft a unique drink that I enjoyed. I had never heard of hojicha, and I love new experiences. It tastes like seaweed, so it's a little strange, but I enjoyed it. Their sweeteners are made in house so you don't have a bunch of random ingredients. The vibe is very chill. They have a decent selection of manga. This was definitely a win and I would recommend a stop if you are in the area! And bonus for me, they are black owned!

The sugar it was rolled in was even infused with early grey flavor! The interior is on the smaller side, but there is seating and Ludlow Square is only a short walk away. Make sure you come early, because pastries do sell out throughout the day!

It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
