Nice cupcake store in main street in Hyannis. Had a buckeye cupcake, shark double chocolate cupcake and a red velvet cupcake. The icings were hard and kinda stale, cupcakes were also hard and kinda stale. The flavors were very good and I was impressed that the mini cupcakes had frosting inside the cupcake. Okay this is the CUTEST and most charming little bakery I think I've ever stepped foot in. From the outside with their pink and white awning, you figure it's going to be cute....but when I walked through the doors I was honestly in awe. It's like sweetness and sugar exploded in there. But in a good way. I honestly think the frosting and sprinkled bathroom was my favorite part. The staff working behind the counter were both nice and welcoming girls. Sugar. Rush. Me. Please! I came with friends to Little Miss Cupcake when we were looking for some dessert after getting dinner at another place nearby. Here are some highlights: -They have shakes where they'll put a WHOLE cupcake into the shake and blend it up. Amazing! -This place has way more stuff than you see at first sight. Over to the left side, there is a bar and they can make boozy shakes. It's easy to miss the little bar area. There are also cake pops and frosting shots and all sorts of fun stuff, in addition to ice cream. -They have inventive cupcakes with fun flavors. It feels a bit like being a kid in a candy shop, especially because the place looks like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, just with cupcakes instead of chocolate. -I can't remember the exact name of the shake I got, but when combined with the cupcake, it was sort of like funfetti + a sugar rush + dreams in a shake. I could only make it partway through the shake because it overpowered even my lactase pill (yes, I'm lactose intolerant but normally with a lactase pill, I do just fine, and I love shakes!!). But I was fine with that and thought it was delicious. Come here when you want sugar shot into your veins. They serve frose because you need to be lit in order to eat the cupcakes. They are dense and dry. It's like they forgot to add in baking powder or egg or something and the whole cupcake didn't rise. The inside also tasted oddly undercooked and gummy for how dry it was. The flavors were underwhelming. I wouldnt be surprised if those cupcakes were made two or three days ahead of time. The cupcake was so old that the icing actually broke apart and flaked off like dry sugar. You can get a better tasting cupcake at a grocery store. While they put in a bunch of icing, the filling was super stingy - a mouse sized dollop. It was horrible...especially given how much they want to charge for it. One tasted very gritty and dry. The other tasted undercooked. I've had lots of gluten-free cupcakes that are much better. Sadly, I never got to place an order for a custom cake for my daughter's 8th birthday, therefore I never had the chance to try this place out. My review is based on customer service. Coming from CT, my family and I planned on celebrating my daughter's birthday in MA (6 people). My husband and I both contacted the shop to see how best to place an order. Each time the person who answered the phone said that the message was passed to the owner and she will get back to you within 72 hours. After both inquiries (and over 2 weeks later), I called again. I was now told to order through their custom cake inquiry page and that would be the best and quickest method for a response within 72 hours. I did........a week ago. No response. Clearly this shop isn't interested in communicating with serious customers in an effort to expand their advertising base. I have exhausted all options and have gone elsewhere. Shouldn't have to be this hard to order a cake. read more

The GF was as good as a regular cupcake! Only thing I would say is that the boxes they come with need a bit more attention as cupcakes tip over in box to easily. On August 19, 2019 around 5- 6 pm we as a family decided to get a treat for our almost 3 year old a cupcake from little miss cupcake ( reading all the great reviews!) We sat down in front of Kilwins next door shop and my son started to eat the cupcake he had half or more than immediately he started to vomit severely he vomited all the icing he ate:( he looked very weak and couldn't walk back to the hotel so I placed him in the stroller and my 1 year old carried back on my arms. Luckily my 1 year old spitted our the piece of cupcake that her brother shared with her. She did not get sick.thank God! That day we all ate the same food my husband my sister me being pregnant as well and my 1 year old. Only my son got sick right after eating miss cupcake cupcake. He lost his appetite and also developed a fever after this incident. I will be taking him to the doctor to evaluate him. Although generally he is a healthy active playing boy and never had this happened to him before. It's a 3 day he is without appetite and weak. Update: I called manager to politely ask what was in the icing and they were not concerned or even asked my name or my sons name. Instead she said everything they do is fresh and never had this happened in 4 years. There was no interest in following up or Anything!. So please be aware. My son is not known for any allergies as well. I'm pretty much confident after going through and knowing everything we had this day the only thing he had different was the cupcake that provoked the vomiting made him sick. It need to be investigated what goes into their cupcake icing. Be careful especially with little kids. I would not want anyone to get sick like it happened to my boy. read more

This has got to be the WORST cupcake shop I've ever been in. The cupcakes are super dry and they are way TOO sweet. I did not enjoy the frosting nor the cake itself. I got the oreo cupcake, and I actually wanted to get half a dozen. I am so glad I didn't. I feel like this cupcake shop is fun for kids though because it's a really cute shop and you can decorate your own cupcake if you want. Maybe I should've stuck to a classic yellow vanilla cupcake or something. I definitely recommend bringing kids here, but if you're a cupcake lover like me, this isn't the shop for you. read more
