This is a must try if you like Mexican food ! My favorite plate? Fajita fundida! Is a delicious chicken, beef, shrimp with rice that has queso sauce! My friends also love the pollo Yucatán , tacos are very good too! Overall I haven't heard anything negative about their food. Staff is very polite and friendly and service is very fast, so even if you want to have a nice meal but you have less than an hour you will be able to do it ! My son picked up our order and they forgot the cheese sauce for my nachos. I had to go pick up the cheese sauce and the woman I got it from gave me attitude. They gave me only the cheese sauce so now I get to pour warm cheese sauce over cold nachos Texas. Gee thanks. Won't be going back there. read more

My grandma and I visited this restaurant for lunch. We ordered a spinach dip, and while we were eating it, we discovered a moth in our dip. The staff didn't seem to be very concerned about the situation. They simply removed the moth and didn't offer any discount. While the prices weren't bad, I wish they would be more attentive to customer concerns. read more

Ended up getting a side of fries just to test there fries because it's mandatory at any restaurant and they were prolly a 2.5/5. Very greasy and mid at best. The server was not having the best day but we did manage to make her laugh at some extent. Ordered the steak and shrimp and the steak was mostly gristle and like leather. I honestly tried to eat it but couldn't do it so I asked if I could get another steak. The waitress took the steak back to the kitchen and then the waitress came back 3 or 4 times asking if I wanted the same steak cooked well done and I tried explaining that it was gristle and like leather. The waitress said she would get the manager. After waiting 10 minutes the manager came out and made a spectacle with the plate showing in front of the group and attracted the attention of the whole restaurant as if to shame me that I ate some of the steak pointing to the steak and said come on rudely and would not give me another steak that was edible. I said to her to do what you think is the right thing to do, so they gave me the bill and said you pay, we're done, you go! Stopped in for lunch while in town for business, ordered the Pollo con Arroz, which is just grilled chicken on rice with queso dip. The chicken was good, but the rice was WAY overcooked, which was surprising, because usually it's the other way around, if anything. But it was total mush. Still tasted fine and I was hungry so I ate it, but the kitchen manager really should have not let it be served like that. The house salsa wasn't bad. It was a little strange that they brought out their spicy salsa in a plastic squeeze bottle, but it was good. Would have been a better review but for the rice. read more

The food here is EXCELLENT ! BUT, I advise not doing a carry out order. I ate there twice in one week. First night I got food to go, it was top notch, (but theres a charge for carry out). Second time I ordered the exact same thing, I will post a few pics on the quesadilla I received vs the one I got the first night. The quesadilla I'm posting a pic of is a little larger than a taco for $9 !! I also did not get any tortillas with the verde I ordered. When I ordered I was told it would be ready in 20 min. I gave them 30 min, and when I got there, waited the 20 min (that happened both times)......Overall, the food is dynamite, and they are always super busy (so that's gotta tell you something). Food was nothing special. Ordered curbside pickup, when we pulled up there were no signs telling us where pickup was so we just parked on the side. We called to let them know we were here and she had a major attitude and said she couldn't see me. She put me on hold to go look outside, and the call dropped, so I went inside. She said "pickup is over here" and pointed to the back of the building and made a face at me and threw her hands in the air. Everyone else seemed nice, but she was very rude. read more

There was a lot to love about this place. Food was amazing, I loved the queso and salsa. Prices were pretty good for the amount and quality of food! I got the carne asada and I would recommend it to anyone. Also they had a man playing a guitar walking around so that was an added bonus for my nephews. Not from Jacksonville. Stopped in after a recommendation by the staff at the nursing home where my mother is. I was very happy to have tried something that was not a chain. The Al Pastor and the Carnitas tacos were fantastic and the shredded beef chimichanga was very good. All very good flavor and the service was great as well. I am from Spokane visiting my cousin. I was looking forward to an authentic Mexican meal like I had on my last visit in March 2019. What a difference 2 years make. I ordered the carnitas with salsa Verde. All I could taste was salt. It was so overwhelming! The refried beans was like paste and very small portion. It wasn't very authentic at all. If you're in town for one of the baseball tournaments, highly recommend this place for the team! We went on Saturday night, needed to arrive around 5 (there were 25 of us) and the staff hustled to round up some tables, take our orders (by player number of course) and get our food/drinks in speedy order. On top of that; the chips & salsa were. never left empty and the food was outstanding! Margs are good too if you want to "get your drink on" and highly recommend the burrito's. We got home and out salsa for our chips was the equivalent of three ketchup packets to a bag full of chips. Come on really.
