Amazing find! Empanadas were not something I ordered until I stopped by here after an appointment. Man, they were so flaky buttery and soft!!! I opted for the egg and cheese for breakfast. They are cute and small so two were more than enough for me. I also ordered a small pistachio latte. The service was great and fast. There is plenty of parking. I definitely want to return and try other flavors.

I've been here twice and will keep coming back! They are located in a plaza with free parking which is always a plus. Service has been great both times. They have so many empanada options so it is hard to choose but I went with the Texas Brisket, Four Cheese and Guava & Cheese. I liked them all! The restaurant itself is small but they have a good amount of seating and it is nicely decorated. Highly recommend!

Tried these at the FIFA Fan Fest, great empanadas! Will likely go to their brick and mortar store at some point!

    Great empanadas!

Really good little place to eat in a shopping center in a nice part of Houston. Delicious crust on the empanadas! Nice people and love the way these empanadas are stamped with what's in them... Great place!

Very friendly Argentinean attendants! I took my parents to eat empanadas. They had chicken and ham and cheese and liked them. I had a spinach empanada. They're really good quality. The chimichurri is served in a small plastic container. For dessert we had apple and Nutella with bananas empanadas. Be prepared to pay for each empanada a little bit over $4.

What a cute stop! We stopped here for a light bite after church on Sunday before getting ready for our Super Bowl plans later in the day. Little Patagonia gives coffee shop vibes, but with Argentine empanadas. I even saw what looked like a study group and immediately recalled memories of gathering in coffee shops in college. When you order at the counter, you can see all the different empanadas available behind the counter. We opted for 6 between the 2 of us: ham and cheese, spicy beef, and spicy chicken. They were delicious! I love the flaky crust of the ham and cheese and was impressed that the spicy beef/chicken was actually spicy - so good! We also ordered some dessert empanadas to take with us; I liked the strawberry and nutella! Only reason for 4 stars is that since it was our first time, I would have appreciated a bit more guidance from the staff on their empanadas. Overall service wasn't bad though. Oh and lots of parking available in the shopping center!

I enjoyed my time at Little Patagonia. I went for a meetup event so I don't think there would typically be that many people there so service was a bit array simply because our party size was difficult to manage. Nevertheless, I ordered the hot chocolate, beef and brisket empanadas. The brisket empanada was a favorite and the beef was good. Flavorful and juicy filling which a crisp exterior. I would return.

Guava & cheese, spinach, spicy beef, & spicy texas brisket. I love it here!

Still have nothing but great things to say about my favorite empanadas cafe. Today I did an online order for the first time and had enough points for a free empanada. When I went inside I was kindly greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter as she was preparing my food. I took a seat on the cozy booth surrounded by others working from their laptops and enjoying their coffee. The server brought my food to my table hot and neat. She also offered to bring me a cup of water. I ordered their eggs, bacon & cheese as well as the mushrooms, onions and cheese. Both were delicious! I will be seeing them again soon!

Excellent empanadas the staff was so helpful with suggestions and the food was great! You get a dozen for around $50 and get two free with a dozen(cheese) the location is spacious with plenty parking spaces

Stopped by on a whim while traveling and was not disappointed! Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this place is a total hidden gem and we loved how the empanadas were displayed and stamped! Everything from the food and drink to the service was amazing! Food: We ordered the Bacon Egg and Cheese, Spicy Chicken, and Apple empanadas. The bacon egg and cheese had an interesting shape and were super yummy on the inside. Incredibly flakey, crisp dough and cheesy center! One note would be to include more egg, but we understand that it's part of the mixture. The spicy chicken empanada was a favorite and the chimichurri sauce served with it was 10/10. The apple empanada was alright. The filling was a bit sour, but we really like the presentation with the powdered sugar. Drinks: We ordered a cappuccino that was delicious and an iced chai latte. No complaints! Great breakfast and lunch spot. We also noticed that they serve beer on draft.

My son has been on a Cortado kick lately and so we decided to try Little Patagonia on one of our recent trips to the Galleria area. Don't let the unassuming exterior deter you from trying this place. Our biggest problem was deciding which empanadas we wanted. We ended up trying the egg, bacon, & cheese empanadas, beef and spicy beef empanadas, guava empanadas, strawberry and Nutella empanadas and ham and cheese empanada. All the empanadas were yummy but the beef and spicy beef empanadas were our favorite savory options. Just the right balance of flavors and don't forget to ask for their signature chimichurri sauce. Add a little of that to every bite and you won't be disappointed. The day we went they were out of the guava and cheese empanadas and frankly the plain guava ones are a bit too sweet for me. I imagine the guava and cheese are probably the perfect balance as cream cheese tends to cut through the sweetness of guava. As for the Cortados both my hubby and son were very happy with them. "Nice and smooth" was phrase they kept saying and lots of nods of the head. That's about as good as it gets! We will definitely be back.

I started out with two empanadas and was BLOWN AWAY! The best empanadas I've ever had and proceeded to buy more in different flavors cause they were so good. I enjoyed all of them. I got spicy beef, spicy chicken, lamb, spinach, banana, and apple and all of them were amazing. I can't even say I had a favorite and I do feel they are reasonably priced as well. The choriban however was okay. For $16 I don't think it was worth it. It was good, but I would only order the empanadas next time I'm here. I do like that the bread was very garlicly. Like garlic butter bread kind of. You have to order up front and most of the time they do bring your food to the table, or you might have to pick it up from the cashier. Cute and quiet. Great place to catch up with friends. 100% would come back again for ANY kind of empanadas.

I absolutely think this is a hidden gem in Houston! The empanadas and coffee is sooo good, and the owner is such a sweetheart. Little Patagonia always has good music, and the ambiance is really chill and calming. FYI It can get busy during lunch time but still really efficient and fast.

I came today to get a dozen, 13 actually, to share with friends on the 4th! I arrived while the counter person was offloading supplies. He said they opened at 11am. I placed an order for 1 dozen pineapple, cream cheese empanadas. I got there at 10:20am. Diego said he would work on it and they would be ready when they opened @11am. Unfortunately, Diego did not have my order ready when they opened. I clearly told him when he was bringing in product for the day that I need a dozen pineapple cream cheese empanadas when they opened. He said OK and continue bringing in product. At 11 AM when they opened, I went in and to my surprise Diego had not placed my order and it definitely wasn't ready. I was a bit annoyed and a tad bit confused. I said to him why didn't you place the order like I asked you to when you were bringing in supplies it went on to say that look if you need payment prior to getting the order that would not have been a problem, but you let me believe you were going to start making empanadas so they'd be ready when you opened. Diego counted with "no that's not what I said, I told you that you could place your order when we opened". To say I was more than annoyed would be a colossal understatement! I was so impressed with this product that I ordered a dozen to share three each with people that I consider special. Unfortunately, for Diego and the business owner, his unprofessionalism and outright deception cost him a potentially long-term customer. Like all of you I earned my money and I want to spend it supporting businesses that appreciate those people who support them. I was so disrespected that I choose not to get over it, but rather spend my money at a restaurant that has good product and values. It's customers more than this establishment! Does this restaurant make it quality product absolutely! Does this restaurant value customer is coming early in placing orders with them directly and honoring what they say? Absolutely not, at least not in my case! This restaurant goes from 5 to 2 stars because of this awful interaction. I am so disappointed, but that is life and with so many awesome businesses out there vying for customers this behavior could send them into a death spiral. GN3

Sometimes all it takes is a craving and a good map app…read more My son and I were headed from Northwest Houston toward the Galleria when I got a random craving for empanadas. A quick search along our route brought us to The Empanada Company, and we arrived about 45 minutes before closing. The place isn't very large, and the bakery display cases held what was left of the day's offerings. The young lady behind the counter had been sweeping when we walked in and wasn't especially chatty when I asked about the different empanadas, but she answered my questions and let us browse. I was disappointed to find that the Chicken Tinga empanada I had my eye on was already sold out. My son ordered a couple of chicken pastries, and I gave him the side-eye because those aren't really empanadas in my book. I went with a Picadillo empanada, which came in more of a bell shape than the traditional empanada shape I'm used to seeing. Since I was still craving chicken and the empanada version was gone, I also grabbed one of the chicken pastries. The pastries were incredibly flaky--so flaky that half of one seemed determined to end up in my lap. Fortunately, the chicken filling was so good that I forgot about the mess until I finished eating. The Picadillo empanada was also quite tasty and easily the highlight of my visit. One thing that stood out was the pricing. Compared to other places I've visited for empanadas, the menu was surprisingly affordable. That's becoming increasingly rare these days. My only real complaint is the limited drink selection. A good empanada deserves a good beverage (Dr. Pepper) to go with it. Overall, this was a pleasant stop. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, and I'd definitely come back--especially for two or three more of those Picadillo empanadas. Worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a quick, satisfying snack.

They are really, really good and were such a nice surprise when we tried them. The location closest to us is the one on Airline Drive, and we usually go in the afternoon so we can avoid the after-work crowd. That time of day works really well for us because there aren't too many people, which makes it easier to grab bread and look around without feeling rushed.
