Staff took the time to answer all my questions and were able to accommodate a last minute booking. ALSO they're in constant contact with our vet who shares the building so I felt doubly comfortable trusting Henry to the team!

But I wanted to talk to someone because one of my dogs was in diapers and I wanted to make sure she was taken care of, so I went in. The person at the desk said it would be fine, they had lots of experience and they would send pics everyday. So I left thinking they would be well taken care of, especially after reading the great reviews. After the first day when I hadn't received pictures, I called to see if they were ok and if I could get pics. I was assured they were fine and they sent pics. The next day, nothing. I had to call everyday to see if my dogs were ok. I didn't get pictures everyday like I was promised. When I did get pictures the one time I asked why my dogs were together, in a small enclosed space, with no other dogs. I had asked that my one dog get to go out and play with other dogs, but they didn't do that. They said they wanted to keep them together, although I had explained that my older dog in diapers wouldn't have cared. I began questioning whether anything I asked had been done. We paid over $1,000 for a week and don't feel that the service we received was worth it. There are lots of great reviews here but we can't add to them.

When my husband's beloved pug, Wally, was old and ailing, Dr. Sabadish provided thoughtful and compassionate care not just for the dog, but for my husband. She clearly wanted the best for his dog and for my husband. She considered cost concerns automatically, without being asked. When it was time to end Wally's pain, Dr. Sabadish was extremely calming and kind. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. We have one dog left who is the sweetest, gentlest creature on earth. He is now middle-aged/senior and has had some health concerns cropping up. I'm pretty obviously a high-anxiety dog parent, but Dr. Sabadish doesn't blink at patiently answering all of my questions and giving us her detailed thoughts, presented without sugarcoating, yet with compassion. She is obviously extremely smart and clearly truly loves animals, but the thing that stands out even more about Dr. Sabadish is how good she is with the people who love those animals. At this point, I would not trust my amazing dog to any other veterinarian. As for Hidden Valley in general, we have had nothing but easy, positive, friendly interactions with everyone there. We are really impressed.

The office manager was cavalier about my 'unfortunate' added expense and her failure to follow up to make sure that I was notified (she clearly is not living on retirement funds). Their corporate office is likely ecstatic for the additional cash which is why their 'notice' was buried among their own weekly spam emails and the other barrage of emails that I/we all get. side note: when I made the appointment, I was not told/reminded about their cancellation of my pet insurance, either. PS. I'm not in MN, is google on drugs?

Our dog is very nervous around strangers, but our weekend away went so smooth for him thanks to Lindsey. She was clearly experienced working with dogs and was very patient with him as he slowly warmed up to her. She also gave us great updates each visit with lots of photos which was so sweet. I always feel a bit guilty leaving my Bengal cat behind when I take off but what can you do? Thankfully, Raleigh Pet Sitters has become a reliable part of the team that makes my traveling life a bit easier with pet-sitting and general home upkeep. Before you sign up as a client they do an in-house visit to first get the details, smart idea. At $19/day for a visit which includes taking care of kitty-fido, grabbing mail and more, I've used them several times over the last year or so. They've been reliable and good with communications while I'm out. They also try to pair you up with the same pet-sitter for consistency which is a nice plus. And if you follow their Facebook page, they post regularly on their visits which is a good way to stay engaged. So overall no complaints about Raleigh Pet Sitters, they have done a very solid job for me and yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be using them again. If I could only get my cat out from under the bed while I'm gone, now that would be a pet-sitting miracle...

When setting up boarding, I followed online steps to generate an estimate only to be told by automation that they didn't give estimates. Prepare for things like that to just happen. Good luck getting them to answer the phone. I tried putting my dog in daycare for a couple days so she could feel the place out before her stay and I kept getting brick-walled. They never, within 45 days, had an opening. I was told they were getting such a demand that they have to turn away regulars. When you set up a profile, you fill in important info about this and that. It's mostly easy. I did so, preparing for a getaway about a month and a half later. My puppy Angel wasn't spayed at the time. By the check-in date, she was spayed. I took her to the facility, signed her up, provided a bag of food I bought, and went on my trip. The website says they'll send you pics of your dog in activity. Two days into my vacation, no pics. I called, no answer, so I left a message. I was eventually texted back with them saying I hadn't signed up for it. Okay, my fault. Keep in mind, you have to sign up for this. Then I found out she wasn't playing with the other dogs because they had assumed she wasn't spayed. Again, I had no idea about this, but you have to take it upon yourself to update ALL information in the profile, as the staff operate off that. So...after finally getting someone on the phone, I had the profile updated and Angel was clear to play with other dogs. The pics they sent me were 4 blurry, hastily taken photos of Angel and another dog in the lobby. Nothing of her taking action in the play area or anything. And no photos of her playing the next day. While the woman who contacted me was great and literally went above and beyond in trying to please, the results weren't satisfactory. It's a good place - don't get me wrong. But they tell you almost nothing, the website features seem neglected, the pics weren't good and communication is tough to come by. A.
