Has a lot of depth in flavor and richness. The meat of the pho is fresh and very tender. Great meatballs and I definitely recommend getting extra meat with your pho. Con: the spring rolls was fresh, but I felt like it was a little too bare in ingredients as the herbs overpowered the proteins. Could maybe add more vermicelli. The pork in the spring roll was a little too dry and thin and would be better if they replaced it with freshly grilled pork. Excellent pho in small, informal restaurant. The seafood pho and steak/brisket pho were served with fresh basil, bean spouts, fresh lime and, jalapeño peppers on a small plate. The table also had chili sauce, fish sauce and hoisin sauce, so customers can tailor the broth to their taste. Service was friendly and efficient. I came here yesterday with friends. I had shown pictures to my mom and she wanted to come try it out. We got the white rice and chicken (very good not too sweet on the teriyaki). I really don't understand how anyone can give this place more than one star. I ordered takeout from there tonight and I specifically asked for no peas no carrots in my fried rice. One came with peas and carrots. I also ordered some fresh rolls and both of them were busted open. I just felt the food was sloppy it wasn't fresh. Friendly fast service! We were so hungry we ordered way too much food. The honeydew smoothie and mango milk tea with boba hit the spot after a hot day. The pho was the best I've ever had, though the amount of meat provided (carry out) to mix with the broth was very paltry. We got the last two freshly made bahn mi rolls of the day and we were so lucky. Pork and chicken were very flavorful and the sandwich was packed with meat and toppings. The vermicelli noodles with tofu were solid, but mostly tasted like pho without the delicious broth. Finally, the crepe had an unique, chewy texture which I really enjoyed and went really well with the salad and dressing that came along with the dish. Stopped in to have banh mi sandwich. The bread was fresh and the exterior toasted perfect with the inside being soft. I ordered bbq pork which had great color and a nice charred flavor. Loaded with veggies, but none of the veggie's where pickled, with the sandwich have a Mayo spread with the pork a acid was needed to cut the fat and bring out the contrast of flavors. Perfect place if you want a fast, delicious and good sized meal! You can go with the regular Pho or the baby pho! I was shocked at how filling the baby pho was. I always thought that regular Pho was too much. this was a perfect size and you can actually get a size just under the regular and just over the baby. The egg rolls were delicious and crisp. Great little place but yesterday's lunch experience was very negative. The young guy behind the counter has NO people skills - very cursory and dismissive. I came in for a Banh Mi and when I saw they were 86'd on the board asked about them - all I got was "nope". He was so not involved I actually asked him if he was mad at me for being there... He was far more interested in standing outside the counter and watching TV than attending to his customers - I was finished for a long time before I could get his attention and pay my check. OK oh my God was I ever happy to find this little hidden gem. I moved here from Southern California where the Vietnamese food abounds and is always fresh and wonderful. Since I have been here I haven't really found any food that is comparable to the good food that I was so used to for 30 years. Then I see this little café and wouldn't you know they make the food just the same as back home in Cali and that is amazing. Perfect food! Received a recommendation to try this place from the people at TJ Nails. So glad we stopped in. The little restaurant was very clean and cute. The staff were very inviting and offered fast, friendly service. Iced Vietnamese coffee is my favorite and these were perfect. We had shrimp spring rolls and a grilled pork Bahn Mi. The spring rolls were good. I prefer a warm dipping sauce and it came out gelatinous and cold but the flavor was decent. The Grilled pork Bahn mi was phenomenal. The pickled veggies were very fresh and offered the tangy, vinegary snap to balance out this sandwich and it was LOADED with meat! Very reasonably priced for what we received. We also met some locals there who swear by this place which is always a good sign. This place is a gem and we may have to stop back by before we leave town. The update: They have increased prices but still a bargain for the area but a little expensive for Vietnamese. It's probably because they are on Manatee the tourist highway to the beach and I'm sure the rent is high. If you want to try authentic with a large menu and cheap prices try N. St. Pete there are several good Vietnamese restaurants. If I'm not mistaken I overheard the woman behind the counter say they make their own Bobba Pearls from agar. Which I would believe because again I can't say it enough ... the broth in the Pho Ga may be the best I've ever had. It's clearly homemade in the traditional way and the flavor is amazing. The chicken in it is occassionally a little dry but that can be forgiven. So this is for the tourists who have never had Vietnamese and are reading yelp for someplace to eat. Go ... Order the Pho Ga. It's chicken soup with rice noodles. Throw the herbs in it let it sit just a little bit. It's nothing you have ever had before and this one dish will hook you on trying everything else but you will always come back to Pho. read more

I loved everything about it here- the cozy eating space, the friendly waitresses and the PHO! I would not call myself a Pho connoisseur, but I have had bowls of pho in the surrounding areas at multiple places and this is BY FAR the best! The broth is what sets it apart. Not overly rich.
