Great food & affordable! Great down-home cooking. Sausage gravy & biscuits were delicious.

Went for breakfast. Only had scrambled eggs and bacon. Ordered those. After 30 minutes of waiting, gave up and left.

Good food that won't break the bank and the place is clean. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great food. So far I've had the meat loaf and also chicken fried steak. Recommend both and a milkshake as well.

Good homecooking in the middle of nowhere. And good fried chicken too. Plus a little truck stop to stock up on the necessities.

I hung out in the living room talking with folks after dinner. Very friendly place. Breakfast was included with my room, so I enjoyed Saturday breakfast buffet. The small donuts were literally the best donut I've ever had. So airy. Sticky bun was good too. I didn't care for the pancake and would've loved some fresh fruit. They also give to go cups for drinks, which is a nice touch. Folks were very friendly with one minor exception.

We delight in annual meetings at Casselman's and delight in the menu, the kitchen, and the service. Caveat: avoid at all costs the Casselman version of Buckwheat Cakes - This is a shame version. We delight in the original tart and thin Buckwheat cake of Preston County. Have enjoyed nearly all items on menu. Prices have increased while portions have decreased. My brother insists in the chthonic time after breakfast and prior to lunch. Highly recommend.... There are several dining options in this area, and all are good.

I got the veal parmigiana because it was a special and it was just a little rubbery. I didn't care for the meat, but everything else was fabulous. My wife got the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta and it needed a little more sauce, it was just a little dry. Since we moved away from this area in the late 60's, our dining at the White House back then was on a limited basis. We do remember eating at this establishment with my wife's brother in law sometime in the past. Two of our party had the haddock one fried and one grilled, one had the crab cakes and I had the special (stuffed scallops with crab stuffing). Our meals also came with the bread and soup bar. The selection of bread was great, maybe 5 or 6 kinds, and the soup of the day was delicious beef noodle. Cubes of Swiss and cheddar cheese were also available. Everyone enjoyed the great service, the great food and the family ambiance. We will return again when we are back in this area.
