Took my parents to Little Shack on Edgemere for lunch. My dad got the Siete Mares soup, which has shrimp, fish, scallops, and oysters. It comes with a little side of rice. The soup is always great here, no matter which one you get, lots of protein. My mom and I got a Little Shack taco and a pescadilla. The taco was great, the fish in the pescadilla could have used a little more flavor but it wasn't bad. Staff was fast and friendly, restaurant was clean and the music was good and not too loud. Went for the Tuesfay special. A cold beer and some fish tacos. The battered fish tacos were delicious as was the steak.taco. my friend raved about the baja taco. So maybe will try it next time. The service was great and speedy. The salsas are on point. read more

Customer service was horrible here As I entered the store, the place wasn't that crowded. Lots of open seats and staff walking around. While trying to get the attention of the staff to make a takeout order no one came to greet us at the bar nor asked us if we needed help. I would've understood if the place was busy and that the staff was running around getting orders but nope. I just stood there for 5 min trying to get someone's attention. I'm a little shack fan. I've gone to different locations in El Paso, TX. The food is usually good and so is the service. I came to the Edgemere location in El Paso and the service was so so; however, the music was unprofessional. There are two young girls in the front and they're playing Drake and The Weeknd (explicit versions). I don't mind the music, however, it was an older crowd and some couples with kids. read more

Scam! I ordered a ceviche plate to go and noticed when i got home the cup was smaller than the last time i went. So i went back and the girl tried to avoid me, i got closer to the counter to get her attention. I told her "i think you gave me the tostada size" she said "no thats the plate size" and showed me the tostada container. I told her ive received a bigger size before and she gave me some excuse. So i came back home and poured the ceviche in the tostada container (i ordered a side of salsa and it came in it) it fits perfectly. This is a favorite of mine since it's so close to my work. I probably go once every week or every other week and I've always loved their food. They have amazing fish tacos and their green sauce they offer with it is so good! I also like their shrimp quesadillas. The chips are good but the salsa with it is just ok. I'm not in love with it honestly. It does get crowded in their depending on the time you go but that's just because of the space they are in. I was recently informed they are doing deserts now and based off my servers recommendation I got the Italian cake. OMG it was freaking amazing!! Absolutely loved it and will order again. The food had been great so far, the service has been amazing and I will definitely be going back but they lose a star only because of space honestly. read more

It's a really nice clean place. The tacos were not that good. The price for the portion is way off. I order the Baja tacos it had more grill mango than shrimp. It had so little filling that all I tasted was the corn tortilla. The music was awful ! They played a song and it kept saying the "N" word. I'm sorry but the cooks and waitresses need to play that stuff in the back (kitchen). I will not be coming back to this place. read more

I have heard the shrimp tacos here are really good and I finally got a chance to try them. Popped in about 9pm on a week night, and it was surprisingly busy. Got an order of shrimp tacos and added an extra octopus one for good measure. The shrimp was cleaned, fresh, tender, lightly battered and perfectly fried. The octopus was also fresh and had a good texture. Everything inside the tacos complemented the proteins really well. Both kinds of tacos and all of the accompanying sauces were delicious! Went in on Sunday after church, around noon, not busy. Very mellow scene and waiter was helpful on recommendations. Order only took about 15 minutes after ordering. Chips and dip were okay. Fish tacos were on point. Tons of flavor and some of the best I've had around here. You can order singles or order(3), which is nice if you want a variety. I've only ordered take out from here due to minimal seating for such a crowded place. I ordered their fish tacos, they were very delicious, and comes with chipotle sauce and an avocado/mayo flavor sauce. I like how they also add cabbage to them. They over do it with the toppings, but if that can easily be fixed. I also ordered their ceviche camaron. It was very fresh and good. Also ordered their calamari which I enjoyed. I wish they had smaller pieces, but it wasn't bad. I also think they are over priced- but for the quality each time, I could not complain. I wish they had more room for all the people that dine-in. However, locking the door over an hour before the close time posted and then intentionally running away to avoid eye contact is not only rude but embarrassing for you. We were going to get take out. And tip heavily, as usual. But it is clear, your staff has no interest in making money, or upholding any kind of standard of service. This location has good food but the place is not the cleanest the floor was dirty napkins all over tables were not picked up. they NEVER answer the phone. like actually EVER! i'm extremely persistent and just to be annoying i call until they answer, today they answered on the 15th call (no exaggeration). they will answer and hang up, i love the food but the lack of enthusiasm these girls show to be at work is insane, they close at 9 & have the doors locked by 8:15- it's just..... a lot i get they're probably tired but as a customer it's extremely off putting. read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would! I was there Sunday afternoon and had the worst experience ever!! As I was picking up my order the girl with blonde short hair and glasses was packing my food and lowered her mask and sneezed in her hands and proceeded to pack my food!! That is disgusting! I told her I didn't want my order to be packed by her and apparently she's not even fluent in english and didn't understand a word I said! Thankfully the other server attended to me and was able to understand my concern and went to the back and got me a new order. The other girl on the other hand was completely rude after she practically sneezed on my food and didn't even wash her hands!! AND continued to serve on tables not washing her hands!! Favorite restaurant in El Paso. The food is so good! Love the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fish soup and shrimp cocktail! Would recommend to anyone. The tacos come with a lot of cabbage but I don't mind it you can take off and adjust to the preferred amount. You get free chips and salsa, the salsa has a good spice too it.
