Dinner tonight was from Mama Gina's Ristorante and Pizzeria in Fulton...... We ordered everything online, and the order was complete at pickup time. We had a great experience. The garlic herb wings were very good. Funny, they had a crispness scale to pick from, when ordering online from 1-10. Like what would the crisp level actually change from 6-7? . I ordered an 8, and it was crispy to my liking. They did have a 30 min ride home in a box tho. I did air fry them for 5 min too, and heated up the leftover sauce on the side. Then combined them both when done. Perfect! Marge ordered the buffalo chicken salad. It had like an iceberg lettuce bag mix as a base, along with red onion, celery, and banana peppers. Plenty of blue cheese dressing. Very enjoyable. Fresh and crisp. Buff chicken was def a fresh product. The pizza was my jam. Thin inner crust, with nice char on and underneath it. The sauce was not traditional. It resembled and tasted like chopped and lightly seasoned San Marzano tomatoes. Tomatoey and fresh. Delicious. First time here, and definitely worth a return visit. Both the food and service here are lack luster. The inside has been redone but the food has not been improved and neither has the service. One of the only things I would eat from this place is the pizza but there is nothing outstanding about it. Last time I ordered pizza for pickup I was given a time and never called back when the pizza was done early. So, when I arrived I had a confusing conversation with an employee who handed me the pizza. It seemed like the person I talked to but he didn't seem to find a good reason why I was never called about my pizza being done early. Then I took a 3 minute drive home and the pizza was cold so I had figured out that the pizza had been out of the oven even earlier than I had imagined. read more

Been a staple of Fulton for 30 years. Great atmosphere and food. I haven't been though since they removed the Panini's from their menu.

I had some hankering for some Italian. I got the dish with chicken and sausage, rigatoni in a special marinara sauce. Man. It was one of the most hearty, filling dishes I've ever had. The service was amazing, and I will be coming again when I'm in town next. read more

I checked their Facebook, Google, and their website before I stopped in to dine only to be told that their dining room is closed. I ordered my meal to go, but then was told by the counter staff after I had paid that the cook had to bread the chicken and it would be longer. I don't mind waiting, it's just the attitude-- like I was interrupting their standing around time. So, I left without my meal that I paid for. I called to let them know but you can't even get through to a real person. Never again. read more

We order from here once a week and usually spend $75-$100. The food is usually delicious, but the counter service is TERRIBLE and getting worse (with the exception of the delivery drivers). Now they have a call queue which is a minimum of 10-15 minutes on hold. During a recent order they picked up after 10 minutes of holding in queue and ask me to hold again. After waiting another 5 minutes the woman taking orders asks me "what do you want?". She was completely rude and that was when I decided right then and there that I'm done with this place! This place wasn't that bad. Service was fine but something my boyfriend and I noticed was the constant talk of personal life things very loudly in the kitchen. Now when you talk your voice echos. We heard everything everyone was saying. But the food was good the service was good just the personal life talk was a little uncomfortable for us. read more

Mama ginas has been and always will be the best pizza in Fulton! Love the new atmosphere they have in there & the wood fire pizza is the best. The only thing that can suck is how their front desk workers always forget to give you we're sauces like blue cheese, or honey mustard, dressings etc. Other then that they are great, they just ALWAYS forget sauces. read more

My wife and I are traveling and wanted some pizza. We stopped here based on the excellent reviews. We got into the place, there is a sign that said please wait to be seated, we waited for about 5 minutes and then the guy making the pizza told us to go find a seat. While I was washing up, the waitress came to the table we found and was wondering why we were sitting there. My wife told her that we were there for lunch and the waitress seemed very confused. So she gave us menus and ask this if we want anything to drink all we asked for was water. After 10 minutes of waiting just for the water we left. I don't think it's her fault, I think the place was understaffed today. But it made a lousy first impression. read more

Mama Gina's has the biggest most delicious Buffalo chicken calzone I've ever had. It is massive, loaded with cheese and wildly unhealthy for you. The service was mediocre. Not too friendly and I have noticed this in the past with the hostess and bartenders as well. Years ago, I stopped in here to apply for a job and was given the cold shoulder by the bartender when I inquired about a job. They have delicious bleu cheese. Their booths are a bit awkward as there is a step up onto a platform where the seats are. Bar is VERY small and outdated in my opinion. Parking is a little bit difficult because it is located on the side of the restaurant and can get filled pretty quickly if the place is busy. read more

The upgrades they did are gorgeous. The drinks are cheap (5.75 for a double vodka OJ) Food is great! More on the expensive side for sure, but worth it. I recommend the bruachetta. My one complaint? It has a great atmosphere with good music playing. It was slightly loud however. They have a great menu. Slightly spendy prices. Plenty of parking. Free Wi-Fi. I have never eaten here. My 5 star review goes out to the staff, specifically to the man who allowed me to buy a gift card when my friend's family member was diagnosed with cancer. The restaurant hadn't opened for the day yet and he stopped what he was doing to help me. Kudos also to the woman who helped me find another restaurant that could deliver to a location outside of their zone when he passed away. Their compassion is beyond measure! read more

I was in town visiting family and was happy to learn Mama Gina's now has gluten free crust! I was expecting the standard store bought crust (the kind that is usually delivered on an aluminum tray) but was pleasantly surprised. Mama Gina's thin crust gluten free pizza was delicious! It appeared to be homemade and definitely hit the spot. The dough had great flavor and was perfect for a classic pepperoni pizza. Other family members without celiac disease preferred the classic Mama G's crust, but for for fellow celiacs or anyone with sensitivity to gluten I would definitely recommend this pie! read more

This place is half pizza/wings take out and half sit down Italian restaurant. It's my local go to place for NY style pizza. It seems as though their take out business is brisk as evidenced by being out on hold when you order (common at many take out joints) and the steady traffic at the well appointed pick up station, which includes a nice bar with tall chairs as well as a seating area. The restaurant side has a large U shaped bar with large and small booths along the walls. Now the pizza: it is the best NY Style pizza in town. Thin crust, nice char, the right amount of toppings. I have tried a few different combos; my suggestion is to keep it simple. Large cheese. You can't go wrong. Why only four stars and not 5 if the pizza is that good? 1) The girl working the counter wears a ball cap pulled down low...so she never makes eye contact with you or anyone else. I'm old school...and when you do business with people eye contact is part of the deal. 2) While the pizza itself is great, they can't seem to cut it evenly. Even when just cheese the first cut is a 60/40, so you get one side with big slices and one with small. Oh well... it does taste the same. read more
