Placed an order for takeout at 4:00 on a Monday. Was asked to hold for a couple minutes which was no big deal. I was told my order would be ready in about 25 minutes. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was greeted by the friendly staff member on the small takeout side of the restaurant. I paid, 39 dollars and change for a large specialty pizza and an order of wings, which I think is fair. I waited for my food to be ready and then waited till I arrived home to eat. The pizza was a large chicken wing pizza which was interesting, though not in a bad way. The pizza came in 12 very unevenly cut (triangle) slices. This doesn't bother me at all and in some respects could be a benefit for portion control. The pizza was cooked well and was perfectly taken out right before it would've been crispier than I like. There was a nice chew to the dough as well. Not quite thin crust. The chicken was well portioned and the Buffalo was just a standard mild sauce- I would've perferred hot but to each their own. The interesting inclusion was chopped celery atop the pizza. I've never seen this before but I admit it was a nice inclusion even though I was skeptical. It adds a nice texture to each bite. The sauce on the wings was hot bbq. Which again, wasn't as spicy as I would've liked but good nonetheless. The wings came in an order of 10 (booooooooo). I would've liked more sauce on the wings but I'm sure I could've asked for that. The ride home ensured the wings would not be very crispy- which I was fine with because I don't like super crispy wings. You may want to account for this if you are someone who loves super crispy wings. All in all, there's some things I'd do different if I order from Pizza Man again, but I was pleased with the meal. read more

tried this place for the first time tonight, got there and my husband was told that the delivery driver took his wings and that he would have to wait for him to come back!! really?? so I said i was not waiting and she handed me a receipt and no $ back, I said, I want my money back for the wings, in which then I got an attitude from the person and the Manager. so I got my money and left. Out for a couple snacks and drinks tonight. I haven't been to the Pizza Man in awhile. We decided on a couple apps and a sub. I ordered the crumbly sausage sub. I appreciated the nicely toasted bun. A little more sausage to cover the whole bun would have been nice. Also, it needed some kind of sauce to go with it. Perhaps a tomato sauce. Yes it had onions, peppers, and cheese on it. But is was dry as f. The 15 fries I received with it was a little meager. Janice ordered the fried mushrooms with a Texas horseradish sauce. The sauce and shrooms were great! ( sorry pic did not come out ) Dules ordered the mild boneless chicken wings. ( I hate that. Just identify as chicken nuggets!) They were pretty good as well! Crispy and saucy too. Pizza man is a locally owned pizzeria with a bar, dining room, and live music at times. They support a lot of local kid's teams and fundraisers. The reason to order takeout from them or dine in is because their pizza is terrific. The menu is pretty much limited to pizza, wings, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Don't expect anything fancy. Your food will come on disposable plates with disposable utensils, but it will come out piping hot and delicious. I hadn't been here in quite some time and popped in with friends right after jazz fest. It was a Sunday evening, and things were rather slow, but our waitress was on top of things and the beer was cold and the pizza was hot and we had a great time! I have ordered take out from here a few times since moving to Baldwinsville. I have been to the restaurant a few times to get drinks before covid and watch live music and have always had a good time. Definitely a good place to watch a game. Recently we ordered the hot honey pizza and it was so good! We tired the sweet red chili wings and they weren't bad, just your average wings. The most recent time we got the hot Hawaiian pizza and Buffalo garlic wings. We didn't like the hot Hawaiian as much as the hot honey but it was definitely loaded with toppings, if you like that. Wings again were just your average wings. On of the biggest things I like about this place is when the food is delivered, it is always hot unlike other places in the area. We actually have to let it cool down! It's nice to get the meal you ordered hot and fresh! Delivery also has been super fast the last two times we ordered. Another thing I really enjoy is the smaller slices, perfect for kids or someone that doesn't want to much at once. read more

This review is based upon 1 bartender. This review is not about food. The owner is fantastic and is extremely fun he sings and dances and interacts with the band and customers. He is very entertaining and always excited to have customers as his guests. The staff is usually always great too. We came out to see a band here. We were in a group of abut 15 or 20 spaced out through the small high top tables and bar. I ordered 3 beers and a soda, the bartender never told me what I owed and took my $20 and she never came back. After a couple minutes and her serving a couple other people down the bar, I flag her down and said "I gave you a $20 and you never brought me change. " She then rudely replied " It was $18 I figured you were going to tip.". ....Ok??? What???? I just said "ok fine." I really just wanted to know how much it was. She then went to her tip cup and pulled $2 out and threw it on the bar. Another customer sitting at the bar said "what the hell is that about?" .. There was no need for her to give me money or throw money especially after I said I was all set. About two minutes later she did come back to apologize and she said " I'm not trying to keep your money or I anyone's money without their knowledge." It was very nice of her to apologize, but the damage was done she completely ruined my mood to the point that I wouldn't order another drink. I instead ordered an uber to a different bar. I guess my point is that before you take someone's money tell them how much it is. Even if the cost is $19.99 I should still decide where the penny goes! Also if I ask the bartender a question I should not have had money thrown down on the bar or them have a rotten attitude. These individuals are in the customer service business and should always give people a positive good time!!! I also like to say I was tipping at every beverage I bought and also tipped well before I left. I was there from 830pm till 1115pm so I'm pretty sure I spent a couple bucks at the bar. Love everything about Pizza Man. When it comes to food they have the best sheet pizzas around, it's actually stretched pizza dough not the 2 inch thick loaf that has become a standard for sheet pizzas. If you're going to get chicken wings, which you should always get, then def try their Gold sauce, it gets shipped fresh from heaven twice a week. As far as the pub side of this place goes, pizza man is the go to spot for a good night out in Baldwinsville, they always have live music on the weekends and tons of big screen TVs if you're coming to watch a game. The beer was spoiled and tasted like rotten eggs. From the taste I would say they do not clean their lines ever. The fat tire tasted like pure vinegar/rotten eggs. Ordered a wrap and the wrap itself was stale. It did have good flavor but fresh is not a word I would describe anything in the place. The garlic fries almost saved it at 2 stars. Also, we had 3 flies buzzing around us while we ate. The best part of the visit was the bartender was very nice. Disappointing as we were looking for a nice local place to grab a beer and food. I usually go to Pizza Man in hopes of spotting local celebrity, Jeff Cook. It's a family friendly restaurant with great food. Their house wing sauce is terrific. It's the perfect place to watch a game because they have as many televisions as they have cold beer on tap. The staff is warm, both figuratively and literally. Cool pub with a nice interior that has some great local bands play frequently. It has a decent beer selection for the town and your standard pizza shop menu at great prices. However, where this place goes wrong is their pizza sauce. It's as if they took Ragu, added equal parts water, strained the Ragu, and left you with tomato-water for your pizza. It's piping hot, terribly bland, and it forces the the ingredients to slip off your pizza in a giant cheese iceberg. Come for some beers with friends, but order your pizza down the block. read more

Wanted a simple dinner so I ordered a cheese pizza, wings and a salad. Food was delivered in a timely manner so no complaints there. In their defense I am a bit of a pizza snob but the pizza was pretty bad. The pizza sauce was bland and the pizza was extremely greasy. The cheese wasn't much better. It looked liked a pie that is served at a gas station. I ordered mild wings. The flavor was good but they were undercooked, so the skin on it was rubbery. Pizza Man Pub has a great vibe for sure! Their pizza is great, they have some huge TV's with sports playing all the time, and they have good beers on tap. Best Pizza place In Bville ever. The waiters and Waitresses are so nice and will start a conversation with you sometimes. Their Pizza taste amazing! (Same with their Wings) The fries are perfectly fried. There's A lot of TV's in Pizza man so you can watch Different sports games at once. There's also a Dart board for Entertainment. If one of the darts break the Staff will fix it for you and they always are so nice about it!
