Placed an order for takeout at 4:00 on a Monday. Was asked to hold for a couple minutes which was no big deal. I was told my order would be ready in about 25 minutes. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was greeted by the friendly staff member on the small takeout side of the restaurant. I paid, 39 dollars and change for a large specialty pizza and an order of wings, which I think is fair. I waited for my food to be ready and then waited till I arrived home to eat. The pizza was a large chicken wing pizza which was interesting, though not in a bad way. The pizza came in 12 very unevenly cut (triangle) slices. This doesn't bother me at all and in some respects could be a benefit for portion control. The pizza was cooked well and was perfectly taken out right before it would've been crispier than I like. There was a nice chew to the dough as well. Not quite thin crust. The chicken was well portioned and the Buffalo was just a standard mild sauce- I would've perferred hot but to each their own. The interesting inclusion was chopped celery atop the pizza. I've never seen this before but I admit it was a nice inclusion even though I was skeptical. It adds a nice texture to each bite. The sauce on the wings was hot bbq. Which again, wasn't as spicy as I would've liked but good nonetheless. The wings came in an order of 10 (booooooooo). I would've liked more sauce on the wings but I'm sure I could've asked for that. The ride home ensured the wings would not be very crispy- which I was fine with because I don't like super crispy wings. You may want to account for this if you are someone who loves super crispy wings. All in all, there's some things I'd do different if I order from Pizza Man again, but I was pleased with the meal. read more

Out for a couple snacks and drinks tonight. I haven't been to the Pizza Man in awhile. We decided on a couple apps and a sub. I ordered the crumbly sausage sub. I appreciated the nicely toasted bun. A little more sausage to cover the whole bun would have been nice. Also, it needed some kind of sauce to go with it. Perhaps a tomato sauce. Yes it had onions, peppers, and cheese on it. But is was dry as f. The 15 fries I received with it was a little meager. Janice ordered the fried mushrooms with a Texas horseradish sauce. The sauce and shrooms were great! ( sorry pic did not come out ) Dules ordered the mild boneless chicken wings. ( I hate that. Just identify as chicken nuggets!) They were pretty good as well! Crispy and saucy too. As many times as I've been here, I would say stick to ordering their wings and pizza. That's what they do best. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. read more

Pizza man is a locally owned pizzeria with a bar, dining room, and live music at times. They support a lot of local kid's teams and fundraisers. The reason to order takeout from them or dine in is because their pizza is terrific. The menu is pretty much limited to pizza, wings, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Don't expect anything fancy. Your food will come on disposable plates with disposable utensils, but it will come out piping hot and delicious. I hadn't been here in quite some time and popped in with friends right after jazz fest. It was a Sunday evening, and things were rather slow, but our waitress was on top of things and the beer was cold and the pizza was hot and we had a great time! Oh, oh, and if you like anchovies, asked for a side. I had plenty to put on my Caesar salad and pizza. Not a lot of pizza places carry anchovies anymore. read more

I have ordered take out from here a few times since moving to Baldwinsville. I have been to the restaurant a few times to get drinks before covid and watch live music and have always had a good time. Definitely a good place to watch a game. Recently we ordered the hot honey pizza and it was so good! We tired the sweet red chili wings and they weren't bad, just your average wings. The most recent time we got the hot Hawaiian pizza and Buffalo garlic wings. We didn't like the hot Hawaiian as much as the hot honey but it was definitely loaded with toppings, if you like that. Wings again were just your average wings. On of the biggest things I like about this place is when the food is delivered, it is always hot unlike other places in the area. We actually have to let it cool down! It's nice to get the meal you ordered hot and fresh! Delivery also has been super fast the last two times we ordered. Another thing I really enjoy is the smaller slices, perfect for kids or someone that doesn't want to much at once. read more

This review is based upon 1 bartender. This review is not about food. The owner is fantastic and is extremely fun he sings and dances and interacts with the band and customers. He is very entertaining and always excited to have customers as his guests. The staff is usually always great too. We came out to see a band here. We were in a group of abut 15 or 20 spaced out through the small high top tables and bar. I ordered 3 beers and a soda, the bartender never told me what I owed and took my $20 and she never came back. After a couple minutes and her serving a couple other people down the bar, I flag her down and said "I gave you a $20 and you never brought me change. " She then rudely replied " It was $18 I figured you were going to tip.". ....Ok??? What???? I just said "ok fine." I really just wanted to know how much it was. She then went to her tip cup and pulled $2 out and threw it on the bar. Another customer sitting at the bar said "what the hell is that about?" .. There was no need for her to give me money or throw money especially after I said I was all set. About two minutes later she did come back to apologize and she said " I'm not trying to keep your money or I anyone's money without their knowledge." It was very nice of her to apologize, but the damage was done she completely ruined my mood to the point that I wouldn't order another drink. I instead ordered an uber to a different bar. I guess my point is that before you take someone's money tell them how much it is. Even if the cost is $19.99 I should still decide where the penny goes! Also if I ask the bartender a question I should not have had money thrown down on the bar or them have a rotten attitude. These individuals are in the customer service business and should always give people a positive good time!!! I also like to say I was tipping at every beverage I bought and also tipped well before I left. I was there from 830pm till 1115pm so I'm pretty sure I spent a couple bucks at the bar. They could have had another 3 hours of my business but I took my money elsewhere. read more

Love everything about Pizza Man. When it comes to food they have the best sheet pizzas around, it's actually stretched pizza dough not the 2 inch thick loaf that has become a standard for sheet pizzas. If you're going to get chicken wings, which you should always get, then def try their Gold sauce, it gets shipped fresh from heaven twice a week. As far as the pub side of this place goes, pizza man is the go to spot for a good night out in Baldwinsville, they always have live music on the weekends and tons of big screen TVs if you're coming to watch a game. Come as you are, no cover charge, I love this bar. read more

The beer was spoiled and tasted like rotten eggs. From the taste I would say they do not clean their lines ever. The fat tire tasted like pure vinegar/rotten eggs. Ordered a wrap and the wrap itself was stale. It did have good flavor but fresh is not a word I would describe anything in the place. The garlic fries almost saved it at 2 stars. Also, we had 3 flies buzzing around us while we ate. The best part of the visit was the bartender was very nice. Disappointing as we were looking for a nice local place to grab a beer and food. There is much much better within walking distance. read more

I usually go to Pizza Man in hopes of spotting local celebrity, Jeff Cook. It's a family friendly restaurant with great food. Their house wing sauce is terrific. It's the perfect place to watch a game because they have as many televisions as they have cold beer on tap. The staff is warm, both figuratively and literally. I shook a bartender's hand and it was notably hot to the touch. If he wasn't such a friendly guy, I would not have known how hot and spicy his palms are. read more

clearly a neighborhood joint where you can get a reliable slice of pizza, good draft beer, and unwind after a long day at work. came on a thursday when the place was bustling with trivia aficionados. ordered the special margarita pie which was more of a tomato sauce pizza with a few slices of mozzarella and fresh basil. i like their chewy, thick crust. pizza is definitely a tad greasy but i like that there isn't much cheese. bud light on draft- cant go wrong. would totally return if I was hanging in the b'ville area and was craving a slice of pizza. read more

Cool pub with a nice interior that has some great local bands play frequently. It has a decent beer selection for the town and your standard pizza shop menu at great prices. However, where this place goes wrong is their pizza sauce. It's as if they took Ragu, added equal parts water, strained the Ragu, and left you with tomato-water for your pizza. It's piping hot, terribly bland, and it forces the the ingredients to slip off your pizza in a giant cheese iceberg. Come for some beers with friends, but order your pizza down the block. read more

Wanted a simple dinner so I ordered a cheese pizza, wings and a salad. Food was delivered in a timely manner so no complaints there. In their defense I am a bit of a pizza snob but the pizza was pretty bad. The pizza sauce was bland and the pizza was extremely greasy. The cheese wasn't much better. It looked liked a pie that is served at a gas station. I ordered mild wings. The flavor was good but they were undercooked, so the skin on it was rubbery. Salad is salad, I never had a bad one of those. read more

This is the ONLY place we will order take out pizza and wings from. I have been a customer since the early 80's and the quality has always been good. Fresh ingredients, fast friendly delivery there is nothing not to like. Oh we just started to order the garlic wings with our pizza...they are delish not likely to return to buffalo style anytime soon. :) read more

Pizza Man Pub has a great vibe for sure! Their pizza is great, they have some huge TV's with sports playing all the time, and they have good beers on tap. They have bands playing every Friday and Saturday night for the most part. My suggestion: Buffalo Chicken Salad; Guiness; seat at the bar read more

Showed up announced with a 12yo hockey team on a football Sunday. Most places would have went into fold mode. Not here. The waitress was fantastic. No one waited for a refill. Food was fantastic as well. Can't speak for the pizza because the menu has enough for everyone's taste. Next time in town a trip to Pizza Mans! read more

Wine glass was covered on someone else's lipstick. Pizza very wet. Let them know and the waitress didn't seem to care at all... 1/2 pizza was ok, but other half was soaking wet (my paper plate got so wet it ripped. - for $20 for a medium pizza, you would think you could get real plates). Not up to NY pizza expectation! read more

Best Pizza place In Bville ever. The waiters and Waitresses are so nice and will start a conversation with you sometimes. Their Pizza taste amazing! (Same with their Wings) The fries are perfectly fried. There's A lot of TV's in Pizza man so you can watch Different sports games at once. There's also a Dart board for Entertainment. If one of the darts break the Staff will fix it for you and they always are so nice about it! The food is just Amazing here so this place Deserves 5 stars.... it's so great I don't even think it deserves only 5 I think it deserves 1000! That atmosphere is just right. Sports bar, local favorite hang out, and a good place to grab a slice at an odd hour. The pizza is good, not great, but good. The chicken wings are awful. I ordered mine hot and was given a fried wing with watery hot sauce. Which disappoints anyone who has a craving. This will definitely be a place I frequent late at night for my cheese slice craving. DELICIOUS PIZZA!! Another staple in our household when we are short on time and need a fast meal. Their pizzas and chicken wings are the best and best priced for the area! Only pitfall for us is that a sheet pizza takes 45 minutes after ordering, but it is worth the wait!! I think a great crust and fresh cheese is what makes a good pizza, which this Pizza Man has! (Dominos, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut... you don't have anything over Pizza Man!) Try this place... I really think you'll like it!! read more

This was my first time having pizza man and I was impressed.. I have tried other places around the area and this is by far the best pizza I have had in the area... I really liked the honey bbq wings that came with our large pizza.. They are decent prices and awesome quality. read more

I'm utterly shocked by these raving reviews and the ones on Facebook (though bad ones can be deleted). The pizza they serve isn't even real pizza, it's made in a pan and the wings are tiny and dry. The owners here have a horrible habit of trash talking their patrons once they exit; it's pretty disgusting as these are people they've known for years. Get a life bozos. read more

Consistent pizza. I always ask for crispy crust because I don't like greasy pizza crust(oh the irony). Ordered dozens of time for wings, (boneless and regular) pizza, mozzarella sticks. My orders have varied from vegetarian pizza to plain cheese pizza. The pizzas are good size and everything is priced very fair. The deliver guy is always the same guy and is friendly. Overall best pizza in baldwinsville. read more

Things started off normally. We were seated promptly, although our server, one of the bartenders, seemed largely uninterested from the beginning. When she came back to take our order, she forgot to take mine and my daughter's, but added them at the end. Mistakes happen, so we didn't think much of it. What happened next was where the experience really went downhill. We ordered two appetizers and six entrées. Somehow, my salad and my daughter's cheeseburger arrived well before anyone else's food - and before either appetizer had even come out. The food runner, who turned out to be the most attentive, also failed to bring silverware. After waiting about 10 minutes without seeing our server, I finally had to walk to the bar to ask for utensils. Instead of simply helping, one of the other bartenders gave me a hard time for asking. When our server finally brought silverware, she sarcastically said, "I guess I'll have to fire the person who brought your food over." She then walked back behind the bar and joked about the situation with the other staff. Several members of my family overheard the comments as well. Being mocked after an obvious service failure was far more frustrating than the mistake itself. To be honest, as the only person of color in our party (the rest of my family is white), the way I was treated left me wondering whether unconscious bias may have played a role. I can't say that for certain, but it's an unfortunate feeling to leave a restaurant with, especially because I looked different from 99.9% of the rest of the clientele. Meanwhile, the rest of our party waited another 25 minutes before receiving their meals. Both appetizers and all of the entrées arrived at the same time, and my father-in-law's chicken sandwich came out prepared almost the exact opposite of how he ordered it. The only bright spot was one food runner who genuinely seemed to recognize that things had gone wrong and tried to help. Unfortunately, that professionalism was not shared by either bartender - one of whom was also our original server. One final note: the music was so loud that holding a normal conversation at the table was difficult. Overall, this was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Everyone can make mistakes, but how a restaurant responds to those mistakes says everything. In this case, the dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism were far more memorable than the food.

The food was very good which it always has been with the chicken wings being the standout item. The renovation really opened things up and the restaurant is much bigger than it was. High ceilings and light colors make it seem even bigger. Also they have added LOADS of wide screens that showed every kind of sporting event known to mankind. This will absolutely be my "go to" for games when I'm out and about in the Oswego area. The only downside I saw was the noise level when there are a lot of people there. Because of the high ceilings and how open it is, the voices seem to echo and consequently you almost need to scream to hear each other. Not a horrible thing if you're there to take in a sporting event, but if you're looking to enjoy a nice quiet meal you may become frustrated.

When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG!
