Today will be my last visit to little Thai. Their food has always been mid so tonight I decided to deviate from my usual red curry and try their pad thai. It was very bitter with a vinegar taste and tasted nothing like what I had in Thailand even though they say it's authentic and the chicken was non existent, maybe 1oz at best. The Thai tea was also bitter which is odd for that drink and the worst Thai tea I have had anywhere in the US or Thailand. This was a cute Thai Restaurant. The look, feel, and ambiance felt authentic. The decor was nice and the smells had me ready to chow down as soon as we walked in. The service was ok and the food was definitely above average. While the Thai tea was too sweet, the noodles were good. The chicken Pad Thai I was solid, as was the Pad See Ew. I wish they used Chinese broccoli but most places don't ether. The veggies were slightly overcooked, but otherwise the dishes were solid. I sent two friends decided to take a Tuesday night and go get some Thai food. This little place is rated the best in the area so we gave it a try...ITS THE BEST! It's a nice quiet little Zone to have an intimate dinner or a dinner with a few friends. Very pretty drapes, gold with purple and red tablecloths, it's great. We were seated soon as we came in a young man who was very nice and prepared. Gave us a minute to look over our orders came back, took our order and they were brought out promptly. Everything was nice and hot fresh and tasty. You got to choose what kind of heat you liked all the way up to Thai hot or American hot everyone got something a little different and we tasted it was all delicious. This place is even better than the last time we were here. I had Green Curry w Shrimp, super tasty and loaded with veggies in a coconut milk base. Wow! A very generous portion too. They charge extra for shrimp (not for other proteins) but it is worth it as the shrimp were fresh and delicious! I also got to taste the noodles and Tom Yum Soup, also wonderful. Our new favorite Thai restaurant. Excellent service perhaps since it was a Wednesday week night. Delicious dumplings, the sweet dipping sauce was the hit. For wonton soup they go above and beyond with not only a tasty chicken broth but lots of veggies marinating in the soup. I vote best wonton soup in Pinellas County. Entrees: I tried Chicken Pad See Eew for the first time. The savory brown sauce was good but seemed to takeover the entire dish with more noodles than veggies. Next time I'll resort back to the curry dishes. Leslie's Chicken Pad Broccoli was awesome says she. Much lighter and more veggies in the brown sauce. Nice ambiance could use a few more touches on certain finishes, but very relaxing with light Thai music. We will definitely return. read more

I was excited to try this place after reading some of the reviews. Unfortunately, other than the service (three stars are for the service) the food was a major let down. The Tom Yum was neither spicy or sour, very one note. The veggies and chicken in the soup were good, I ate it but I was missing the spicy and sour that attracted me to the soup in the first place. The Panang was ok. Beef was good and veggies edible and plenty of them, but the curry was way over salted and would go with Thai Hot next time if you want some heat. The salt is all I could taste sadly. I was not able to finish either dish. I may have just come on an off night and at least I was able to eat most of my food. Again compliments on the service, they seemed short staffed that night as there was one lady serving, hosting, running and bussing the whole restaurant. All with a smile and still managed to be attentive to all the guests present. I would come back because of the service and give the food another chance if I am in the area again. read more

Little Thai Cafe has a humble storefront in a humble strip mall that one could drive by without ever noting. I'm so glad we didn't drive by, but rather stopped. The restaurant had very typical Thai decor. The server was super polite, & quickly brought us our meals. I ordered off their lunch menu & requested yellow curry chicken. The price was only $8.95 & I assumed it'd be a tiny helping. Instead the dish was large & filling. The vegetables were all fresh tasting, the chicken was white meat which I prefer, & the sauce was lip-smacking delicious. So often I order Panang Curry or Pad Thai at Thai restaurants. This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Pinellas county and has been since around 2002 ish? It's a cute little restaurant in a small, quiet plaza so parking is easy and it's always quiet and peaceful inside. Everything always tastes so delicious and flavorful. They have really good Thai tea too. Their recipe has definitely changed and although not as good, we still love going and recommend! Our typical staples include crab Rangoon, Thai teas, chicken wings, pad Thai, panang curry, Tom yum and papaya salad. They make the best tom yum and panang curry!! read more

This place is so good I hesitate giving a truthful review. Why? Because it gets crowded and I hate waiting. But to give them the credit they deserve, it is the best Thai we have had in a long, long time. Pad Thai Chicken is flavorful and fresh. Spicy Noodles, the same. Pork salad is divinely sour and spicy - so FRESH! This is now our go to Thai spot and worth the drive. We have been there probably 20x now and it is very consistent. The woman was amazing multi tasking and managing many online orders and serving guest and she was on top of everything! What an amazing soul! Highly recommend if you are a spring roll lover! For dessert I had the taro coconut cream dish. It was good but I personally wasn't crazy about the taro bites, the texture and taste wasn't consistent to me. I love taro and love this particular dish when hot and chewy! It was still good overall and I enjoyed it as a lite dessert that wasn't overwhelming with sugar. This small restaurant is one of my goto's in North Pinellas! The cafe is in a small strip mall, nothing fancy but don't be discouraged. Inside this restaurant it's very clean, and decked out in an Asian theme. I have eaten inside this restaurant several times and our customer service is awesome. One small negative is that they serve their soda in cans, so be prepared for no refills, (my hubs problem ... not mine). My favorite dish, okay dishes here are the Chicken Pad Thai, and steamed dumplings. I've ordered to go several times and do wish they had delivery. The shrimp Tom Yum was very good, though a little less spicy than I prefer. The chicken pad Thai was right up to par also. The lunch special comes with a pie salad that was basically like every other appetizer type salad, and chicken rice soup. The chicken rice soup is essentially chicken broth with small chunks of chicken and a dollop of rice. Nothing special, but if you ask for the spice tray and add some red chili pepper and thai chili sauce to it, it all the sudden Is good enough that you could skip the Tom Yum. read more
