Local music, local art, local food options - all in the heart of downtown and attached to the best movie theatre in ROC! Had an awesome date night last week which included live music, red wine, and german chocolate cake in the Little Cafe, followed by Little popcorn and the Tragedy of Macbeth. An amazing way to spend a weekend evening and support local all in one. The menu here is great with snacks, treats, wine, beer, and a gorgeous pastry case available. Live music every Friday and Saturday with some of Rochester's most talented players regularly cycling through. Make a plan to catch a movie, but absolutely leave time for a stop by the cafe ahead of time.

The Little Cafe has become a favorite spot to listen to music and sometimes grab a bite before the show. The variety of music presented is impressive jazz, tango, classical, Pipa, etc Their tasty menu is also commendable. Soups are my most selected food items followed by the sandwiches Grilled Cheese and Tuscan Chicken are winners. Beer, Wine, and Espresso compliment the meal. Desserts I need to sample more.

A good little mix of coffee, tea, beer, cider, and soda. Ok. If we're being honest, the food here is just cafe food. It's fine. It'll do. But I love that it's connected to the theatre, there's free music and poetry stuff, and the vibes are chefs kiss.

Nice to be back to this awesome little cafe for some tea and live music!

Absolutely my favorite cafe to grab dinner or a beverage during the evening. I do like other coffee shops but I prefer this one during the night/evening. You get to enjoy some art exhibition while a local band is playing music on "the little" stage. Parking at The Little is limited but but there's plenty of street parking in the area. Food gets ready pretty fast and the staff is very friendly! They require masks and a proof of vaccination. Restrooms are very clean.

My friend and I started our evening here, as it was the starting point of a Yelp event. We got to try whiskey and apples from different venders while we enjoyed the café. The café is small and cozy with traditional coffee shoppe seating. They even have a small stage for bands to play. They serve all sorts of drinks and small bites. It is definitely a cute place to go before a movie or just for the evening.

Love this place! They have an amazing chai latte that I enjoyed while listening to live music! It was a fun crowd and the staff was very outgoing and friendly as well. Will def be coming back for more live music nights!

Great place. Came during the Fringe Fest. Wine was offered and great jazz band. The most date night of the week!

It's almost like a speakeasy, where the front is set up like a travel agency and once you're checked in you get transported into this hidden gem tiki bar!! The food was delicious! I came here with my bf and friends. They were able to accommodate our allergies as well (I'm gluten free and my bf can't have dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, and they were still able to give him lots of food!). They had lots of fun drinks on the menu too. Definitely coming back here!

The outside is decorated as a travel agency and the host walks you in. Our server was friendly and answered our questions about the drinks and food. Their menu is a "sharing menu". I will say that I think the best value are their family style platters. We tried the Mahalo pork which was good. Likely enough for 2-3 people. The Duck Spring Rolls were good but I didn't ask how many came in an order. It's 2 rolls for $18, which is not a great value. The Yaki Skewers were good. We got the shoyu chicken but again it's $15 for 3 skewers so not a great value. Drinks average $18 but they were good and came with fun umbrellas etc. Overall we'd return for drinks and maybe the pork platter. 4 stars for service and theme but 3 stars for overall value. They are right next to the paid lot and do validate but be aware you can get towed if the validation doesn't process for some reason. Yes, we've seen it happen

I've been a loyal customer at this establishment for nearly 20 years and never expected to…read moreexperience what I did. For years, I had no issues--until one of the security guards, an older light-skinned man with dreadlocks who has worked there forever, began targeting me for no reason. On multiple occasions he acted aggressive and confrontational toward me, even though I never raised my voice or reacted negatively. The last incident was the worst. He disrespected me in a way no customer should ever experience, threatened to "f** me up,"* and had me banned despite the fact that I never did anything to him. His hostility seems to stem from the fact that he doesn't like someone I happen to associate with--someone who also never disrespected him. What makes this even more concerning is that the owner appears to allow this type of behavior. I've seen this guard act out for years, and instead of correcting it, it feels like it's been encouraged. Many people I know have had negative experiences at this bar, and some have even lost their lives due to the environment created when drug activity is allowed inside. I've spent thousands of dollars here over the last 17 years, and never have I been disrespected the way I was by someone who is supposed to ensure customer safety. I considered speaking to the owner directly, but based on what I've witnessed, I truly believe she condones this behavior from her staff. After nearly two decades of loyalty, I can confidently say I will never return.
