Trying to market chicken feet is not going to get much attractions. But they don't care. They're only targeting to Chinese customers. The sign pretty much proved his point. It is the same owner as Yammy Kitchen but different restaurant operator. I was told they have another Thai restaurant in memorial area next to Apple Store. But he didn't tell me the name. I'm not a Thai food person. I can't tell what good or bad. But did they follow the basic restaurant principle? Yes, they did. They just have a good planning as typical for most restaurants. I ordered spicy soup and egg rolls. Soup was too salty toward the end. There were 5-6 huge shrimps in there. It was not as sour, but fine with me. Egg rolls were accompanied by a homemade chilli sauce, which was tasty. The presentation was lacking of garnishment with the rolls. He said they were still waiting for plates to arrive. So, I doesn't to criticize on how they look. I made a suggestion about the signage. I wish they would put "soft opening" on the outside or inside. That would give them rooms for improvement and not bombarded with criticism.

The shrimp also tasted a bit on the dry side, didnt seem too fresh, 2*s. The chilli chicken was basically general joes chicken with a bit of chilli sauce, didnt like it too much, stick with panda express orange chicken, 2*s. Small place, kinda hidden away towards the back. Not sure for how long it will last, but as of 2/11/23, they have a 20% off for all orders, so go check them out.

We liked the menu and told each other we should return for food next time. During that time, one family gets up and leaves without having anything. We said oh well, let's wait for the chai and told our friend, who is Canadian, how our culture is kind of based on hospitality chai. We ask guests if they don't want to eat still you must have chai. Chai is our connection and to learn about each other. Almost 15 or 20 minutes later, chai came, and I asked her if sugar was available. She pointed towards the entrance. "Sugar is over there." So I got up to pick up Cheeni Sheeni, and as soon I returned, the same person said it was 9 0 o'clock and we were closing. I asked, Are you serious? We just got our order. I looked around. One family was still eating food, but she said I have to close the door. It's 9 PM, and we don't get paid for extra time. Oh, she wants us to leave with our chai. I said may I use your sugar? She said yes. Honestly, I have never seen this kind of attitude, and I understand, that it's the owner's fault who doesn't appreciate their workers, and they don't care if a customer left happy or not. We picked up our chai Shai cups and went outside. We decided to drink in the car, but unfortunately, the chai was horrible. So, two of us throw our cups in the trash. It was hot water without flavor. Meanwhile, we apologized to our friend that that's not how our culture or hospitality is, just bad management. We are in the retail business, and once a customer walks in 30 minutes before, we don't ask them to leave the store. I was totally in a fun vacation mood. The grilled fish platter -- crafted from tofu and seaweed -- is a masterpiece. For $20 I wouldn't get them again but they were fun to try. The steak dish was definitely the highlight. It was so good that my non vegan boyfriend bet me $1 it was real steak. It wasn't. Overall, I think it's worth a try but it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe to pick up the steak dish. They have a wide variety of ready-to-eat, packaged hot foods and desserts on display for customers to grab and go. They also make a delicious, refreshing artichoke drink that isn't overly sweet. From the look of it I thought it's got crispy filling but it was rather tasting stale. So I took a closer look, I think there are dried carrots and shallots or onions, and a lot of vermicelli. Personally, I would like the fresh veggies over the dried ones, because when they turn moist they become little too chewy for me. Also I wish the ratio of the vermicelli and veggies are more balanced, the rolls' flavor overall is still very refreshing to eat though. The fish sauce was good too, not too salty and fishy, it's on the more fragrant side. For this box of rolls I paid $10, which is little pricey for me since I have tried better for half that price. But maybe I will be back again and try other things on the menu one day.

From what I remember, he originally started his business out of his apartment. It definitely felt a little sketchy at first, until you met him. Once he brought out the order, you could tell right away he was a kind, hardworking person.
