We were beat after a busy day. Upon arrival were told we for the hibachi was 40 minutes and we said no thank you. However we elected to stay and eat at normal table. We stop by every year when we are in Pigeon Forge for our yearly tradition. We stopped in on 7/3/22 and my husband went in and the woman working said it was a 45 minute wait. My husband said okay for a party of 5. Since there was no available seating inside we sat outside the door in chairs. After about 20 minutes we went inside as there was room available. We sat there about 45 minutes and saw another party sat at Hibachi. My husband went to check on our table and was told she had canceled it because he went outside and didn't give a name. She never asked for a name just how many. She then proceeds to start screaming at my husband, saying it's all his fault, etc. asked if we waited how long it would be and she screamed 2 hours! We left and won't go back. A simple apology and attempt to fix the problem would have been nice, instead of screaming at customers. read more

First we had to wait almost an hour to get a table for four. We had their "Hibachi" ( i.e., teppanyaki) dinner (we ordered different combinations). One of our friends, who is gluten-intolerant, wanted their sushi at first but they didn't even have gluten-free soy sauce so ended up getting plain chicken and plain rice. In regards to the "hibachi" meal, instead of just using soy sauce, which is typical in most so-called "Hibachi"restaurants, they use teriyaki sauce (so why call it hibachi when you really mean teriyaki?). Absolutely, the best hibachi I have ever had, and our chef was amazing! If you haven't tried it, you must. You get a lot of food for a great price. They allow sharing for $7.00 which allows each person to receive their own portion of rice, veggies, salad, and a soup. My husband and I shared and we still had left overs! I would give the place five stars, but it was a rough beginning to the meal. Place was a little dirty (looked like grease on the blinds), the soup provided with the meal tasted like water with a slight flavor of chicken, and the ginger salad dressing seemed like they made a mixture of powdered ginger and water, very stout and not tasty. The main course on the other hand was great. Hibachi chef was awesome and entertaining, food was cooked well and tasted great. We ordered lunch but it looked dinner size. It was wonderful. Came in the morning with 4 other people and we ordered ribeye hibachi, chicken hibachi, shrimp hibachi and a double dragon roll. The rice was salty from too much soy sauce in all dishes and the meats were all cold except for the chicken. The double dragon roll was falling apart which for sushi is bad. Presentation for sushi rolls is half the experience and I am sad to say these were a very poor example of sushi. The last 3x I've visited this establishment, the man taking care of my to go order is extremely rude! Picking up my order has been such a hassle & with COVID my parents didn't feel comfortable dining in, so to show our support we always get food to go. I always tried to tip them even though it's takeout because I understand every little counts. But enough is enough! I showed up today hoping I WOULDN'T get the same guy handling my order but unfortunately there he was....the restaurant was fairly busy with a large party right in front of the cash register so to give the people there space, I decided to stand on the side and wait, he refused to give me my ticket because I wouldn't stand in front of the register I told him "I don't want to make your guests feel uncomfortable so I'll just stand here and give you my card" He ended over charging me and when I said to him that couldn't be right, can you recheck that he said he doesn't have time! Someone else came over to fix his mistake which he charged us for 2 dinner meals instead of 2 lunch meals. After it was all settled, he didn't want to give me my food, he pointed to my order and said "Your order is over there" I replied "Can I have my food please?" He responded with "You can go get it yourself". I have NEVER encountered such rude service & it's probably my fault for continuing to go back but I try to give people multiple tries but this is where I draw the line. The food is decent, a bit over priced but still decent, the soup is delicious very light and flavorful, they've never cooked my steak correctly but it still tastes ok. Food took forever to be served from the hibachi menu at the table when the restaurant was not full. All the meats and seafood was cooked well but the veggies were over cooked and mushy. And everything was drenched in an overly sweet sauce. The noodles were just boiled and had the same sweet sauce for $3 extra! Not worth it. The sushi was good but kept falling apart and the pieces were not cut evenly. They had run out of hot tea at an Asian restaurant! The bathrooms were nasty dirty and did not work. Weblove hibachi and celebrated my daughter's birthday here while in PF. The food was great and reasonably priced when compared to Bennihana and the like. We paid the extra $5 pp to sit at the hibatchi table with the chef since it was my daughter's birthday. They sang her happy birthday and made a big production out of it. The wait was long bc it is quite small and longer if you want 1 of the 4 hibachi tables. We put our name down and drove up the street to the towers shopping center to kill an hour.
