A great spot. Food was amazing with many standard Viet and Chinese dishes along with a few surprises. ,. Service was great too.

Food: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Food- Been here twice now, both times with friends for dinner and lunch. Their food is very well seasoned and I've really enjoyed both of the dishes I've had, with the Happy Family dish being a standout for me. Although the name "Little V" implies being Vietnamese food only, they have a separate Chinese menu that is definitely no slouch, and both me and my friends have thoroughly enjoyed items from both menus. Service- Nice staff with no major issues. Wait times aren't too long, although both times I went the restaurant was fairly uncrowded, so I can't be for certain whether or not the restaurant can efficiently handle busy services. Ambiance- Simple design with no grandeur or anything, but a restaurant doesn't always need to be crazy with the decorations to be a good setting for a meal. The tables are fairly clean with no smell overall. Little V is overall a great place to enjoy great food. All of my critiques were just tiny nitpicks at an otherwise amazing establishment.

My husband and I went for a late lunch today. The place is very clean, and the service was quick. We had the grilled pork spring rolls, we started off great, the charred flavor on the pork was really good, fresh herbs, rice, wrapped in rice paper and peanut sauce to dip in, so good! we had the Roast Duck Pho, the homemade broth was very good, the Duck was very tender and flavorful, great with the freshness of the herbs, never had a duck pho before, and this was fenomenal, also they are very generous with it, highly recommend this Pho. We still had a little room left so we ordered the Vietnamese Egg rolls, not my favorite, not bad either. I'd come back to try more dishes. They offer Vietnamese Food and Chinese.

They have good food but they don't listen to allergy alerts. Every single time I've told them I have a shellfish allergy - make sure do not add shrimp- they add shrimp to my dish. Every single time. And the dishes I order don't even come with shrimp!! I order the chicken chow mein fun - and they add shrimp. I order the chicken lo mein and tell them I have a shellfish allergy - they add shrimp to the lo mein. This has happened 4+ times and I don't know what else to do. I ate my food last night and didn't see the shrimp and thank god I didn't have a reaction. I go to heat up my leftovers today and find the shrimp. A meal completely wasted.

I usually get their pho this time I got the one with brisket. I couldn't chew any of the brisket. Like actually couldn't eat it, ,It was all fatty very disappointing. Their service is usually wonderful. I love their food. There's been a couple of times I've gotten flies on my Vietnamese pork eggroll they were stuck to the lettuce but I chose to come back because I'm a local. This is the first time I haven't been able to chew the brisket. I'm just disappointed. I know it's a Saturday but darn.

Door dashed and they didn't give me utensils nor was there additional notes to add on extra hot sauce for my beef noodle soup (pho). Mediocre at its best here. Pho was standard. Not much competition nor much to choose from when in this neighborhood for pho. Mongolian beef was ok. Egg rolls were ok too. If you need the broth fix, it'll do.

After countless times coming, I've been meaning to make a review about this place. Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

We started with the Pan‑Fried Pork Dumplings, delicious and surprisingly filling. For mains, we ordered the House Special Lo Mein and a Lunch Special that came with egg drop soup, fried rice, Szechuan shredded beef, and an egg roll. The soup was flavorful, thick, and nicely eggy. The fried rice was good, and the beef was tender and savory. The egg roll was also really good. The House Special Lo Mein, though, wasn't our favorite. The texture felt off, and the meat was colder than the noodles, so we couldn't really eat it. For a Chinese restaurant, the House Lo Mein is an important dish to get right. Overall, some hits and some misses.

The (pork) egg rolls here taste like they were rolled in-house, which is a huge deal for me, but they are small. I prefer egg rolls that are plump and stuffed to the gills. The boiled dumplings here are a no-go. They tasted more like an afterthought, and that could be because we have so many places around here that specialize in dumplings. And the crispy pork with garlic flavor, while decent, was paper thin. Indeed it was crispy, and it had garlic flavor. But the pork was barely there. On the flip side, the crispy eggplant is divine. We've ordered it twice, and both times we have been wowed over the consistency and garlicky flavor of the sauce. The hot & sour soup here is also good, though (as I usually do), I added chile oil. Finally, though this place boasts that it specializes in Sichuan, they also do a pretty good job with Shanghai soup dumplings. Further -- and I've eaten soup dumplings at dozens of spots between Houston and NYC -- Spicy Banda is the ONLY joint that has warned me that the soup dumplings aren't as good when they're ordered to-go. That's integrity, and it is much appreciated. As an aside, I knew what to expect with a to-go order of soup dumplings, and they tasted just fine.
