This sports bar has good vibes for socializing. We did note the prices were higher than expected for an Austin sports bar. The only cider they had on draft was the original Austin Eastcider, so I got a glass of it for over $8. My friends got their cocktails, and they complained about the price. They got the frozen woody, which was reportedly okay, and the watermelon colada, which was "delicious but expensive." Apparently the men's bathroom has a toilet with no stall around it. That's like negative 10000 aura for this bar because that sounds nightmare inducing. Thus, I must drop my rating significantly.

Little Woodrows is a great bar, and I love that they serve the delicious fruit punch, happy dads! Would highly recommend.

Basic bar - no wine which is common (carp can wine), good service. Taco truck is decent.

This is a great outdoor bar with cheap drinks and good service. There's fans on the patio and they spray water so it's pretty cool even in the summer. Great if you like to bring your dog out with you. Always a good vibes and it fills up on weekends. I've been coming here for years before moving away from Texas and it was nice to return to the same great place.

Came to watch the World Cup Finals here. It was a beautiful day to be out on their patio and enjoy a few drinks. Mimosa carafe was $28 . A little high for my liking, buuut oh well I suppose. Great atmosphere, smoking outside is ok and they even have a taco truck if you get hungry! Fun bar to watch sports and hang out :)

We stopped into Little Woodrow's for late night drinks. Service was fast and friendly. The outside seating patio is huge--overall it was a good experience.

Fun spot to meet up with your friends. Lots of space and fast bar service. This nite they had a dj that was bumpin some great jams. I've been to Several Little Woodrow's and they all seem to be really fun!

Photo is of the man who did not let me in, I had zero drinks because I am pregnant which is crazy. He said I am intoxicated which is crazy.

There's this huge building that looks like an unassuming co-working space, but it turns out that there is a whole fun world behind it! They have a great setup: there's a little playground, a paddle board court, corn hole, etc to keep kids entertained and they had a huge screen set up to watch the game. And tents! Thank you for having tents and misters! The ambience is spot-on. Overall, we were happy with everything that we ordered to eat. The buffalo cauliflower bites were a bit too saucy, but nice and smoky. The CM Chopped Salad--which was NOT chopped--had a ton of good veggies and a fun dressing. Our daughter managed to finagle two orders of chicken fingers and those were slightly better than the normal junk that comes out. Cold beers on tap, Aperol Spritzes on a hot day--what is there to complain about? We were glad to be leaving when we did because the place was starting to get slammed and rowdy and not as appealing, so be mindful of the partying witching hour. But for a late afternoon World Cup meet-up with friends, this was a good time. Four stars.

The gumbo was the best I've ever had. Even though we got the cup size it was very rich and filling. The highlight was our bartender, Rick. He was incredibly attentive, skilled, and even told us a little bit about the history of the place as a former boxing gym. For reasons that make no sense to any experienced summer festival-goer, the Q2 powers-that-be decided to make this a "no re-entry" event, meaning that attendees are basically locked in the stadium with very few options for relief from the heat. Thank heaven for PointsBet Sports Bar! PointsBet Austin is located inside of Q2 stadium on the north end near the Zebra Gate, up some stairs just to your right as you enter the gate. They have cold air-conditioning, at least one phone recharging station, a few table games, seating for at least 50 people, and standing room for a couple hundred others. Plus, there's a huge horseshoe bar serving plenty of canned and mixed beverages. The whole north wall is floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light. Lastly, there are 18 flatscreens around the walls showing various sporting events and during our concert, a couple were streaming a live view of the concert stage. As expected, prices were "high" (like everything else in Austin these days), but they were in line with pricing available at the other beverage stands outside in the stadium, so we didn't pay any more than we would have out there for the same drink. According to their website, PointsBet opens 3 hours before soccer matches on regular Q2 game days, and it's one of the few air-conditioned places where non-VIP attendees can get a break from the goings-on outside.

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving.
