Not too many breweries around here in Newfane! Having just moved here in the beginning of summer, I am a big fan of new hot spots! This is definitely one of them. Plus, their patio is dog-friendly...so that's a win in my book. Their food is phenomenal, small-ish menu, which makes my life easier because that's less of a decision I need to make. They have a great beer selection, I recommend the double IPA, it was wonderful. I also got their Edge burger and buffalo chickpeas. Just delightful. The people I was with got a charcuterie board (meat & cheese I think is what it's called on their menu), and old bay chickpeas. My BF got the PB&J burger and he loved his as well! I will definitely be coming back here, next time with my puppy Eloise! Although who knows, it's getting cold, patio weather may be dying down. Either way, loved it! It's also right next to Schulze winery, so if you're feeling like wine, just hop on next door! The staff is very helpful and super friendly! If you are looking for a place with ample outdoor seating, this place won't disappoint! The scenery is beautiful as well! The dishes are intriguing and very affordable. I had the Kicken Chicken Sandwich and at very reasonably priced ($3) side salad. The chicken was nicely grilled with a nice spoon of Buffalo style sauce, a thick slice of tomato, and a sprinkling of spring greens on top. The salad was also spring greens, tomato, red onion, and shaved parmesan, which really made it delicious! Two of my friends ordered three piece chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. The fingers had a classic peppery homemade breading and were fried to perfection! The fries were too, and the honey dipping sauce was a deliciously sweet accompaniment. Found this gem cruising around Lake Ontario last weekend. Stopped in for a bite to eat while making the winery rounds. I had the edge sliders and my hubby had the real size version. I sipped on a glass of wine. Everyone said they enjoyed most of their beers. My father said their was one fruit based one he said tasted watery which disappointed him. We got there and asked to sit outside and were met with resistance. They didn't seem happy to let us sit outside. We had a child with us and asked for a high chair and we not offered a kids menu. We asked for one twice before we were given one. They brought out the food and immediately dropped the baby's food. We ordered and told them exactly what we wanted and didn't want and they put stuff on our food that we didn't want and when we asked for a remake we were met with more attitude and resistance. We didn't like it and simply asked for it remade without the mayo that we never wanted in the first place. Immediate attitude from the serve who chose to fight with us instead of just offering to remake it. Brought the new food back out in Togo containers and with the bill instead of letting us eat here as planned and FIVE minutes later while we're still eating out of Togo containers rushed us to pay. Ok here goes. I'm still here amazed at what I just ate. Firstly, the in house brews are very good with many guest beers on the menu. Then comes the highlight. The food. We started with the dipping chips. They were to die for. Fresh Pico, crema, beer cheese and seasoned chips. For lunch we had the signature burger and a side of Shishito peppers. Pre-COVID, we were weekly to bi-weekly customers. This was our first visit in quite some time. We eat out less. Menu is reduced. I got the Korean burger, husband the cowboy burger. Daughter (8) got pretzels. We had chick peas to start - excellent. Tots were extra crispy. The red potatoes - not edible. Deep fried until black...and it was obvious. We did not return them. Every place has a miss now and then. We both had flights of beer. I'm not sure why they moved to plastic cups for this. The beer was still good, of course, but just lessens the experience. We stopped by here after hearing from friends how good it was! We enjoyed a little bit of everything from craft beer, local wines and mint picked from the patio for a fresh mojito! A friend and I came here for dinner on a weeknight while the guys were fishing. As we were walking in, a group was leaving and warned us not to bother because the bartender was rude and ignored them and never served them. We were starving and didn't want to bother with finding somewhere else to eat, so we stayed. I'm glad we did. The bartender was a bit of a hot mess - there were like 3 people at the bar besides us and two tables had people eating, and she was acting like the place was packed wall to wall with how frazzled she acted. The manager came out and gave us a free beer chip for our patience (nice touch). For food, we wanted pretty much everything on the menu. We decided to order a bunch of food to split. We got the white cheddar roasted chickpeas (so so good), a carnitas taco (just ok), the cauli-taco (so much better than the pork to me), the slider variety (the two slider patties were super tiny (clearly) so were very overcooked and a bit burnt tasting so I couldn't tell the difference in the flavors very well), the roasted potatoes (really good, came with the sliders), and the dippin' chips with smoked chicken (just ok not as flavorful as I'd hoped). We were overall very happy and decided to bring some food to the guys so we got a pb&j burger, a western burger, and an edge burger. Second time here but the first time here ordering food! They do have a solid menu of different beers so if your coming here for beers definitely a good variety. The a starter we got their pretzels, we got their honey mustard - that really didn't taste like honey mustard it definitely tasted mode mustard-y. Then we also had their beer cheese that was delicious! The pretzels themselves were cold, which was a bit disappointing but luckily with the beer cheese sauce it was still good. As for a entree I had their special of a chicken Parm chicken sandwich. It was good but I wouldn't say it was great! All their sandwiches are sold as is without any sides so I did add on their Tater tots that were very good. My husband had their special of a stinger sub, a little smaller then he had thought but said it was pretty good again nothing amazing he would rate it. Two words. Truffle burger. When you visit here yes you of course need to try the beer since it is a brewing company but you also need to try the food! When I went last week I came because my friend told me I needed to try the truffle burger so I of course did. It did not disappoint. I mean if it has the word truffle in it how can it not be good? It had just the right amount of truffle in it to pair with the cheese. I highly recommend getting this. They also have a large selection of different beers and ciders. They also have wine from Schultz winery which is located next door. With these different libations they have something for everyone. If you aren't sure what kind of beer or cider you want they do have flights you can purchase which is great when you want to try a couple different options. I also heard that they just started mixed drinks so I will be back there shortly to try them out! I feel that this place is a secret gem that probably won't remain a secret long which it's on the wine trail so hurry and try it soon! read more

This is a brand new place. Fabulous and unique decor, situated right next to a winery. Meanwhile, they are brewing their own beers, and the four I sampled were quite good. The menu is also unique. Everything is locally sourced, and the chefs even came out of the kitchen and served the food themselves. A little off the beaten path, but well worth visiting if in the area. Of course they serve local wine, as well as a unique offering of whiskeys you were not likely to find anywhere else. I really like this place, and applaud them for what they are doing. read more

I've read so many reviews commenting on the food and here I am giving a 5 star rating for the beer alone! I was on a wine tour around the area (first time up this way) and I had the opportunity to slip over to Live Edge Brewing for a flight. Every single beer was delicious. And that's saying a lot for me. The bartenders were absolutely helpful, and I got a chance to buy a glass on the way out. If I'm ever up there again (which there's a 100% chance that I will be) I'll make sure to stop by and grab some food. read more

I don't even like driving over 45 minutes to see my relatives...but I will happily drive almost a hour to Live Edge! This is one of the Niagara County highlights for me. Although the acoustics make my ears ring a little, the great food and great bar selection make up for that little quirk. The burgers are local and smash-tastic, the potatoes addictive (bet you can't eat more than four), the beer bartered pb&j is the stuff of legend (why is everyone in WNY not doing this one???) and there is a changing menu so always something to look forward to. read more

We have been here twice now; once for a fire department get together, and today just as a small lunch date. When I called to see if they were open, I was greeted by an awesomely energetic young lady who was super kind and informative. When we arrived, we were seated almost immediately all while the waitress explained their Covid guidelines to us. We ordered the Pretzel and beer cheese appetizer, a Panko Chicken sandwich, and a western burger with fries. The pretzels were salty, but delicious and the beer cheese was awesome. (It tasted fresh). My western burger was delicious and a perfect size for lunch. (Any bigger and I wouldn't have finished it). (But I also like smaller burgers). The panko chicken was alright. Didn't have a lot of flavor in the chicken itself which my lovely lady fixed by adding ketchup. I ordered a porter beer (can't remember the name) and it was cold and fresh. And delicious. I specifically gave this place five stars instead of four because of how awesome the waitresses/bar staff were. Especially Brenda (our waitress) and Jaime. They were super kind and friendly. This surprisingly trendy brewpub just opened recently, which means two things: 1. I am super happy, because the world needs more brewpubs 2. Their beer production is still in its bubbly infancy (translation: needs some work). Inside the wood exterior is a gorgeous long bar and lots of beautiful handcrafted tables. The staff is fun, friendly, and eager to please. Their food is absolutely spectacular in quality and portion- and they run a $12 special during Bills games that gets you a pint, a freshly smashed burger, and potatoes on the side. Do it!!! Soooo delicious ! A hidden gem on Coomer Road. I had heard about this place from my sister and it did not disappoint ! Tried the flight of four house brews- all delicious, along with the nachos and pork rinds. Yum! Then for an entree I tried the burger of the day- a fried pickle burger with cheese and as a side, the house truffle Parmesan tator tots. SO good. Very rustic brewery experince. The atmosphere was wonderful. There's so much for your eyes to see, and almost everything in the building was handmade. Each table is solid wood along with chairs, all the way down to the lighting fixtures. Aside from the eye candy, their food was amazing! They have a homemade beer cheese sauce, and I ordered both the Dippin Chips ($7) and the special, "Dirty Bird" sandwich ($8) and each had the cheese and you could taste the beer in it, it was amazing! I also got their "Carribbean Dream" drink ($8) and it was well worth the money. Be warned, it was a little strong for me, but I'm a very light drinker. Their portions of food is pretty good, each dish was shared between my boyfriend and I and there was plenty for both of us. Their staff was so welcoming and the owners came directly over and introduced themselves and made the experience all around pleasant. I highly reccommend a visit here, even if you don't drink! I love that it is local, as I grew up in the area and it's so nice seeing a new local business thrive. All around a very nice casual experince.
