The place is a 5/5 the location, the building is amazing. Servers/bartenders are also 5/5. The food though is mediocre at best.. it says fried chicken wings when clearly these chicken wings tasted like rubber .. you can do better live edge i know you can! Your beer has come so far over the years. So bar food with beer I mean that's what we signed up for. The beer is great at least ! That's what really matters let's be honest .

Great patio area with a beautiful outdoor view. The waitress was great and attentive to our table. I ordered the soft pretzels and grilled chicken sandwich. The soft pretzels with beer cheese were mediocre. They weren't crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like other restaurants. The chicken sandwich was good. Not the best I've had and not the worst.

Just went for beer and to sit out on patio. They had live music outside. The beer was good as always. Have had food here before which was pretty good. One of the nicest patios around of any brewery.

Huge place. Great bar and lots of inside and outside seating. Nice beer selection and mixed drinks too. Lots on the menu also. We tried the fried pickles which had a delicious batter on them. The corn fritters were very good and we had a stuffed pepper flatbread that was very flavorful. The bartender was very nice and friendly.

I absolutely love this place. I'm new to the area and my neighbors took me here. Wonderful food, beer, and live entertainment. Beautiful ambience as well. Ps. Try the root beer!! (Non-alcoholic) if I'm not mistaken, it's made by them. Best root beer ever!!!

We stopped here on Mother's Day and had a lovely time. Our servers were super friendly, patient, and helpful. We tried small samples of the beer before we ordered. We decided on the Live Edge Irish Cherry Red Ale and the Live Edge Spalted Mahogany. Both were very good, brewed onsite, and $7 per pint. Next we ordered the soft pretzels, which were a bit salty, but we enjoyed them dipped in the honey mustard sauce. For our meals, we ordered the burger, BLT sandwich, and the signature crispy red potatoes with truffle oil, asiago and parmesan cheese. All of the food was tasty, prepared as ordered, and hot. We especially enjoyed the potatoes.

Great quick meal - salmon sandwich and chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Flight of beer and a cider. Clean friendly great service.

We stopped in for their specials this week. Everything was delicious. Drinks were cold and the place is beautiful. Bartender was very friendly. We will be back again for sure!

Happened on this place by accident on a Sunday drive. It is a stunning place. Very pretty,…read moretastefully decorated. Looks like a family fun Brewery. They had a board game wall, 2 air Hockey tables. An area with local items for sale. Looks like they hold farmers markets, and events in the weekend. The place was very elegantly decorated, like it was professionally done. But for a 5 Generation family, I would have liked to have seen their Ancestors, history, maybe some family heirlooms as decorations, farm equipment, etc... They had an upstairs, not sure what that was about tho. When we walked in, we saw a sign that said seat yourself, so we did. Then we noticed we could order by Q card, so we did. No hostess. The menu was really small, small plates, appetizers, cookies and milk was the dessert. It was an odd menu. There were a fair amount of kids. Which was nice. It really is set up to be 100% Family First.. It was very large, lots of space for kids to play inside and outside, safely, while adults enjoy their time. Lots of space between tables. So still good for intimate settings too. Really well thought out space planning. I ordered Burnt ends with Mac N Cheese, in a Habanero jelly. It was the only spicy item on the menu. My BF ordered Chicken Fingers, because they didn't have a burger, hot dog, steak, i wondered if upstairs was where they served full meals instead of small plates. Worth checking on before you go. I didn't notice the upstairs until we had already ordered. The menu was lacking. I think it would have been nice if they had a hostess to greet newcomers, and explain the run down, and show them how it works. If there was an area for full dining we would have liked to have known. We also would have been able to see a menu before seating. After ordering, I left my BF seated and went to see what types of local items they had for sale. I ended up buying a jar of homemade Maple cream, from the owners parents. They were a really sweet couple. They were the ones who had told us they had been there for 5 Generations. Being a history buff, I got excited and said I bet you have some great stories. I seemed to have embarrassed him, a bit, because he smiled and changed the subject. ‍ A server came out, and informed me, they were out of burnt ends, with the Habanero Jelly. They asked if they could put pulled pork, with Bbq sauce on top of the MAC N Cheese. I agreed, but was actually super disappointed. It was the only item on the menu that had some kick to it. I just didn't see a reason to look at the menu again, since it was so small. I wish we had just left, because my BF didn't like the menu. I was not getting what I wanted. Obviously, this was not a place for us. The chicken fingers were good, they were big, coated well, tasted like they may have added a touch of cornmeal. But they were still just chicken fingers. They do offer a variety of different sauces on the side. The Mac N cheese was much better than expected. The cheese was white and creamy. The pulled pork was basic sauce, it was cooked perfectly, and had some big pieces in there, and wasn't just stringy. Their ordering system is basically contactless ordering. The new way of the world. Ordering from your phone. Which is something I actually like. But a hostess is still needed. Whoever set this system up, did a terrible job uploading the menu. I wanted a drink with Vodka. The only option was"Vodka drink" when I pushed it, it said I needed to go to the bar. They had a couple of cocktails premade, but all with whiskey and gin. When I asked the female Bartender if they can make a Martini. She looked up at some guy, and waited for him to respond. But I quickly jumped in. Before he could say anything. I just asked if she could make one of their signature cocktails they have on the menu. But swap out, the gin for Vodka. I just wanted to keep this moving forward. They said no problem, and were very nice about it. Then I asked them how to order it at the table. They told me to order the gin drink I want, and they will remember to swap it out for me. I was impressed they got that right. For such a vast space, with high ceilings, the acoustics were amazing. It wasn't loud at all. Even the kids seemed to play quietly. When I finally sat down. I saw my BF looked miserable. My own nervous system had been feeling off too, and was a bit unsure. But everyone was super friendly. It just felt like we had an odd amount of super polite attention, that others were not getting. When I took a hard look around, I realized everyone there were dressed similarly, were polite, composed, quiet, having fun, and smiling. They looked like they all came straight from the same church. That's when it hit me, this is a community place with deep roots. They probably don't get many different types of people here. I live in a rural area too, but we are a diverse group of color, culture, and art. It took me a bit off guard.

They also have 1 beer on the menu that they make. Food menu had a good variety of options too and everything was reasonably priced. I ordered the Mac n cheese and enjoyed it! They also have clean bathrooms and host events regularly. This is a drive, but I'd be happy to make the trip again.

The brewery itself produces many beers and the kitchen has a great selection of food items as well as daily specials. The space is kid and family friendly where it is fully accessible (stroller friendly!). There are board games you can play and a small kids corner if your children want to play with a huge connect four as well. In terms of parking, there are lots of spots throughout the parking lot. In the summer there is also a small patio to enjoy your beers and food. Menu wise, the variety of dishes include classics like a burger and poutine as well as pasta and a vegetarian banh mi. There is also a small kids menu as well. Drinks menu wise, there is a large list of beers to choose from as well as a small list of wines, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. I had a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 baby) dine at Counterpart Brewery recently. Staff were accommodating where there was a high seat available for the baby. The space is spacious although in some areas it may be harder to fit a stroller through, but either way the space is very kid and family friendly (we saw many kids and families during our time there!). Service was great and the staff were friendly. The menu is accessed through a QR code via your phone which is at the table. My party ordered the following: - Fried chicken sandwich (b&b pickles, pickled jalapenos, cabbage slaw, and sriracha mayo) - $17 - Porchetta sandwich (slow roasted Italian pork, salsa verde, crispy crackling, arugula) - $17 - House cut fries (old bay, malt vinegar aioli) - $10 - Peach Chardonnay cider from Niagara Cider Company - $10 - Grilled jerk chicken plate (grilled pineapple, house cut fries, red cabbage slaw, cilantro) - $27 I tried the fried chicken sandwich and the porchetta sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious! In terms of the fried chicken sandwich, the chicken (which was dark meat) was tender and juicy. The pickles and slaw complimented the chicken well where the sandwich didn't feel heavy. The overall sandwich wasn't spicy even though there were jalapenos and sriracha mayo. The porchetta sandwich was also great as well which was served on a ciabatta style bun. The pork was tasty and the salsa verde added so much flavour to the sandwich. The crispy crackling definitely added some textural contrast to each bite. Overall, a great place with delicious eats and friendly service! If you enjoy beer they have a great selection to choose from. The place is also very family friendly with lots of parking outside. A must try if you are in the Niagara Falls area!

They are located on the edge of Niagara, outside all the touristy areas, in a cleanly built space with indoor and outdoor seating. The beer list includes a few lagers, pale ales, and sours but focuses on the hazy IPAs. And boy are they smooth and flavorful. Singles, doubles, and triples will rival anything you have had anywhere. Ordering and service are on the fly--just stand the QR code flag up at your table for someone to swing by anytime you want something new.
