The staff was super nice & it's very clean... a tad pricey for just a smoothie But it was so yummy

This place is amazing! The service is incredible, they provide a flight to you as a new guest upon arrival and explain the entire cold pressed juice menu to you. Everything I tried was amazing but I settled on the "just beet it" (hilarious names) that was earthy and sweet at the same time. The gentleman that helped me (I wish I remembered his name, he was so kind) was super knowledgeable and wanted to share all of his favorites. He also helped me pick out a smoothie bowl, the all American, and I loved it. It was so refreshing. I can't wait to go back! Happy Eating!

Honestly, I had the very best time coming in and sampling the juices and mylks that Live Fresh had to offer. But you know what the best part of my experience was? The owner talking me through the different items and what he likes the best. He also told me his and his wife's personal favorites too. And when he saw I liked something he told me what other flavors of juice would compliment that. I bought two juices while I was there. The GREEN GODDESS: GREEN APPLE + PINEAPPLE + KALE + MINT + LEMON. It was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the pop of pineapple with the tartness of the apples. The second is the GOLD RUSH ORANGE + PINEAPPLE + CARROT + GINGER + TURMERIC. And this was honestly just so refreshing that I could drink it everyday. I do like a bit of turmeric in my bevvys because who doesn't like some natural inflammation relief! So yeah. I had a great time and really came home knowing I was going to enjoy it all. And honestly, my three year old loved them too! We shared both of the bottles with her asking for more! Can't wait to go back!

This juice jar is small but has a lot of great options. Sometime the wait can be a little long but it's worth it. Their smoothies are tasty and worth the wait! I like most of their green smoothies and would recommend them.

I'm a big fan of Live Fresh and this was my first time at this location. I had never tried the Mylky Way before and I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted like protein chocolate milk! Don't Stop The Beet is one of my favorite juices, it has really great flavor and sweetness (but not too sweet). I also got an açaí bowl which was delicious. The only reason I'm knocking a star is because the employee seemed very annoyed that I was there. I was the only person there at the time. When I asked for a receipt, she told me it would've been easier if I would have pressed the receipt button myself (but that screen never came up). She was also not super happy that I asked for dates to be added to my smoothie bowl. Kind of weird, maybe she was having a bad day. Wouldn't stop me from returning though.

Some incredibly good juices here! Fresh in-house juices that are not only good tasting but VERY good for you.

Live Fresh is an outstanding locally owned and operated business that is walking distance from #1 daughter's house in Pittsburgh. (Reagent Square) There are 3 locations in the Pittsburgh area and I visited this one on Braddock Ave and it was a real treat! The full name is a little long, it's Live Fresh Cold Press Juice + Smoothie Bar. I tried every one of their juices and was blown away the tastes and really impressed with their care and attention to sourcing, preparation and process. So, what is cold pressed juice? It's juices that are extracted from fresh produce by slowly separating the fiber from the cell to retain almost all of its nutritional content. An excellent way to get your daily recommended servings of fruits and veggies. How much cold pressing to fill up one of these delish drinks you might ask. Surprisingly each 12oz bottle contains nutrients from up to 5lbs of produce, I mean I couldn't eat 5 lbs of oranges, seriously. It is on the pricey side, just a heads up, but everything fresh with no additives, extra ingredients or fillers, so yeah. Fun story, my daughter confided that her husband refuses to consume a $9 bottle of juice, and as expected my honey gasped when I told her the price, too. We both have spouses who manage the money, so expected, yep LOL We left with a six pack so suck it up bean counter spouses! LOL In addition to the fabulous juices they also offer cleanses, smoothies, acai bowls, and smoothie bowls all which have rave reviews, and they also have merch available. How about making your own milks, well these guys do, mostly almond and coconut, and that's impressive and tasty. I am totally obsessed with the "Chopped 'N Brewed which is Cold Brew Coffee, House Almond Mylk, Dates, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Agave Nectar, and Himalayan Salt!! It tasted WAY better than any iced coffee I've ever had, even Dunkin, and it is a very healthy alternative. You can read all about this cool company, and their products , and you can order online at their website: https://www.livefreshjuicery.com/ Bottom line: Very friendly atmosphere and staff, thank you Katlyn, with fabulously healthy and delicious juices! Highly recommended!!! https://www.facebook.com/livefreshjuicery/ (you can order delivery on their FB page) https://instagram.com/livefreshjuicery

This is the third location of Live Fresh juice I have visited so far. All of them are pretty much the same. They have a 15% off purchase with your check in that I find most helpful. They have a refrigerator holding the bottled beverages with the expiration date listed on the top. In addition to juices, they have juice cleanses, smoothies, and acai bowls. I got to talk with Jordan who let me sample some of the flavors. I was most interested in the "mylks" since they are made with almond milk. Everything here is gluten free and of course vegan. My all time favorite is "Don't stop the beet" which consists of beet juice and other healthy additives. They had 3 mylks for me to try two of which I ended up purchasing. One is called house nut mylk which contains cinnamon and dates. The other is called "Mylky way" which gives you a taste of chocolate milk. This one is similar to the other except it contains cocoa in it to give that chocolate taste. I noticed that they are selling other items in addition to the product line. One of those items is sea moss gel which unfortunately they happened to be out of during my visit. They have a rewards program that registers points to your account which you can use for a juice once you obtain enough. Individual juice bottles are for sale but if you purchase a 6 pack then you get 5% off each bottle. Couple that with the 15% off with check in gives you a pretty good deal. I ended up purchasing a couple beet juices, a carrot juice, an "island glow" juice made up of lemon, orange, pineapple, and ginger. Rounding out the 6 pack were the two mylks I liked. Had the beet juice when I got home. So good! Also note they have smoothie straws in the back. Makes it easier to enjoy your juice without worrying about spillage. Live fresh juicery is expanding and you will see them at VegFest in Aug on the North Side. Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgable about their products. I'm glad for the opportunity to visit the new location. Located in the Regent Square business district one hour street parking is available.

I finally got to try Live Fresh! I am normally in Regent Sq in the evenings after they close, so I had to take advantage of being there in the morning. The staff was very friendly and offered me samples of some of their juices. I loved the Green Goddess and picked up a bottle of it for later. The pitaya plunge was recommended to me as a fruity smoothie and it was delicious! I took my drink to go. If I had more time, I would've like to try one of their acai bowls, but I will have to go back!

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.

My husband also enjoyed the almond croissant. We have also enjoyed cookies and cheesecake. The egg custard pastry is so creamy and delicious. The butter Madeleine is buttery goodness. Everyone is really nice there too. All the food is great.
