She understood my concerns on not wanting to look too over done, but also wanting results that made me look a tad younger and not so angry all the time. We ended up doing my forehead and 11s. I'm so happy with the results. My make up no longer accentuates my frown lines between my brows by the end of the day, and my forehead is smoother like in my 20s. During the consultation we talked about lip filler. Again, Starla was great at explaining everything and understood what I was looking for: something that accentuated what I had, but still natural looking. My lip filler appointment was today and she nailed it. I was worried about the pain, but it was completely easy and almost painless. She took her time and I love the results (understanding there is a little swelling at the moment). They also started offering a membership which I have joined. Long story short, each month you can have an amount taken automatically out of your bank account and create what I told my husband was my "self care piggy bank". You get a discount on services, but also can use this piggy bank for future services. Somewhat like a prepaid payment plan. I love this idea, especially if you plan on continuing services and coming back for touch ups later. I'm so happy I found this place and Starla. I've been telling anyone who will listen that they need to check out what services DA provides. Next, I'm going to have to ask Starla about Kybella for my double chin. I'm sharing my experience so others can make a fully informed decision before committing…read morefinancially. I purchased a Thermage package and financed it through Health Care Finance Direct (HFD.) During my first treatment, the provider began at lower energy levels and gradually increased the joules, explaining that higher settings are necessary to achieve therapeutic results. As the energy increased, the pain became extremely intense. I could not tolerate the recommended joule levels required for optimal results. Because of the discomfort, the settings had to be reduced to a lower level. I later learned that lowering the joules meant the treatment would likely not reach therapeutic effectiveness. I did not immediately complain. I understood that Thermage results take time, and I waited approximately 3.5 months -- the timeframe I was told results would begin to appear. After waiting the full period, I saw no visible improvement. At that point, I reached out to express my concerns. I was told that the treatment can feel "spicy" and that pushing through higher energy levels is often necessary for best results. I did not appreciate that I was told by a representative to just push through the pain. However, the pain at those levels was not something I could physically tolerate, but after the treatment was done they ran away with my money. To make matters worst, if you get any loan through LaserAway, the financial bank will side with LaserAway as they state they have not authority to overturn their decision. Even after I there were no results and the pain was intolerable. High way robbery. I ultimately decided not to proceed with additional treatments because I could not endure the energy levels required to achieve meaningful results. LaserAway cancelled the remaining unused services and issued a partial refund, but I was still held responsible for the cost of the initial treatment -- even though it could not be performed at therapeutic levels due to pain tolerance and resulted in no visible improvement after the full waiting period. My concern is not simply that "results may vary." My concern is that patients should clearly understand before purchasing that optimal results may require tolerating significant discomfort at higher energy levels, and that if you cannot tolerate those levels, you may still be financially responsible even if no results occur. If you don't have a high threshold for pain, I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about: * Expected pain intensity * Required joule levels for results * What happens if you cannot tolerate those levels * Financial obligations if results are not achieved Make sure you are fully comfortable with both the physical and financial commitment before proceeding. She is extraordinarily light with needles compared to other practitioners I've had for fillers and Botox, perhaps because she is an anesthesiologist. She is also prompt in returning calls and answering questions. However, her current receptionist is rather rude. I paid with a partial amount of cash and the majority on my credit card. After the transaction was done she told me I did not pay her the cash as I did first before the credit card. She pulled up her keyboard and took out all the cash that had been paid and told me it was not my cash. I think partially because she seems a little out of it or maybe having an off day. There's more professional and efficient ways to handle a transaction and cash than shoving it under your keyboard and accusing your customers of not paying when they now had no more cash in their wallet. Also she did not apologize once she realized that I had paid her which made me upset. Normally you expect people to be a little more forgiving for their mistakes. Also after this she did not say bye and I felt like she displays zero curtesy after that incident. The hours need to be fixed on the door and on Yelp as I'm not sure what they really are. During my HCG round I tried to stop in several times on different days between 10-1 and typically found no one was there and no one was answering the phone. As for the HCG it basically teaches you how to retrain your eating habits and be aware of what you put into your mouth. It's a grueling diet and you get sick of what you've been eating for the past month. Anyone will lose weight eating less than 500 calories a month. I lost the weight as suggested and kept it off. I lost the same amount of fat as I would have by eating clean. I workout 4/5 times a week and continued doing so on this diet. However I was very dizzy, had migraines, was moody, and my hair felt out like after being pregnant. I don't feel like there is any real coaching provided with this diet more just a weigh in and they've never heard of anyone with the symptoms I had. Hormones are a crazy thing to intervene with.

She asked me to send photos and said she would call me back on Monday after reviewing them. I sent the photos as requested and never received a call back. After waiting, I followed up myself. Instead of a phone call or any meaningful discussion, I received a brief message stating: "Thank you for sending your photos. They have been documented and reviewed. No further action is necessary." There was no explanation, no in-person evaluation, no follow-up care offered, and no attempt to address my concerns or provide support after a cosmetic procedure I paid for. Regardless of outcome, patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone considering RF microneedling or other procedures to carefully consider the level of post-treatment care and support they may receive. This is not how ethical providers handle unhappy RF microneedling outcomes, especially when a patient clearly feels harmed.

Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you.
