The last treatment was the most expensive and the results were disappointing. It was time to find a new "home." And I believe I've found it here. Courtney was like a breath of fresh air. The place is small and designed to cater to one person at a time. I was there for injections and didn't get an upsell of products to use or other treatments to consider. The price point was openly discussed (unlike the last place) and I was given a new patient discount. She is very knowledgeable of medical applications of Botox (outside cosmetic uses) and explained the differences among the three neurotoxins available. I decided to try the Xeomin. She explained how I might want to try (did not push) to have the forehead lines treated by way of what muscles still moved after treating the frown lines. We will see how things look in two weeks. She gave me the option of coming back in or texting her the results. Here is a place where I get what I came there for, get treated by a professional who knows her business and is even open on Saturdays! I really wish I had found her sooner.

The owner personally took the time to call me, walk me through the process, and answer all of my questions. She made me feel completely reassured and confident that I would love my laser treatments--and she was right! I got a package for underarms and Brazilian, and I will definitely be coming back. The treatment was not painful at all! I've done waxing and sugaring in the past, and the pain from those is way worse than laser. As someone with a darker skin tone and a history of razor bumps, I was worried about how the treatment would work for me, but I had no issues whatsoever. The facility is super clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and patient with me since I was nervous at first. They answered all of my questions and reassured me every step of the way. On the day of my appointment I was having severe pain from my previous surgery and asked if I can reschedule and if there can be a one time courtesy to waive the $50 charge but they told me no so I did my best and ended up showing up. There's only one doctor, DR. LATIFA A. PACHECO, that runs this office and even though she has her policy, she could have definitely make an exception if she wanted to give me some grace, but she didn't. When I came to my appointment, after discussing what the treatment would be, I decided to do the treatment on a different day due to the side effects that I would endure for two weeks. Dr Pacheco then told me that the $50 would not apply towards the treatment since I did not do it on the same day. She also admitted that the receptionist gave me the wrong information and should have told me but she didn't and she will have a talk with her to remind her. So even though Dr Pacheco admitted that the mistake was made on her receptionist and not on me, still told me I would be charged the $50 regardless. She admitted her mistake, but did not make it right with a new potential customer. I let her know that if I knew this ahead of time, I would have made my appointment on a different day. Dr Pacheco's demeanor with me was very curt and condescending. She pretty much said "Sorry bout that" and Just kept asking me if there's anything else she can help me with and make sure to let me know that her time is very valuable and she is very busy. Even though I do need this treatment, I will definitely be finding another office with better professionalism and with someone that would tried to make it right after admitting they made a mistake. Terrible way to run an office, but she made it known how busy and valuable she is which is why she wouldn't care to lose a customer. Just Keep that up and it will come around.

I'm sharing my experience so others can make a fully informed decision before committing…read morefinancially. I purchased a Thermage package and financed it through Health Care Finance Direct (HFD.) During my first treatment, the provider began at lower energy levels and gradually increased the joules, explaining that higher settings are necessary to achieve therapeutic results. As the energy increased, the pain became extremely intense. I could not tolerate the recommended joule levels required for optimal results. Because of the discomfort, the settings had to be reduced to a lower level. I later learned that lowering the joules meant the treatment would likely not reach therapeutic effectiveness. I did not immediately complain. I understood that Thermage results take time, and I waited approximately 3.5 months -- the timeframe I was told results would begin to appear. After waiting the full period, I saw no visible improvement. At that point, I reached out to express my concerns. I was told that the treatment can feel "spicy" and that pushing through higher energy levels is often necessary for best results. I did not appreciate that I was told by a representative to just push through the pain. However, the pain at those levels was not something I could physically tolerate, but after the treatment was done they ran away with my money. To make matters worst, if you get any loan through LaserAway, the financial bank will side with LaserAway as they state they have not authority to overturn their decision. Even after I there were no results and the pain was intolerable. High way robbery. I ultimately decided not to proceed with additional treatments because I could not endure the energy levels required to achieve meaningful results. LaserAway cancelled the remaining unused services and issued a partial refund, but I was still held responsible for the cost of the initial treatment -- even though it could not be performed at therapeutic levels due to pain tolerance and resulted in no visible improvement after the full waiting period. My concern is not simply that "results may vary." My concern is that patients should clearly understand before purchasing that optimal results may require tolerating significant discomfort at higher energy levels, and that if you cannot tolerate those levels, you may still be financially responsible even if no results occur. If you don't have a high threshold for pain, I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about: * Expected pain intensity * Required joule levels for results * What happens if you cannot tolerate those levels * Financial obligations if results are not achieved Make sure you are fully comfortable with both the physical and financial commitment before proceeding. My biggest disappointment was not only the outcome, but also the lack of follow-up. After both appointments, I was NEVER contacted to see how i was healing or whether I had any concerns. As a client making a significant financial investment, I expected a higher level of communication and aftercare. I understand that every injector has a different approach and every patient may have a different experience.
