I guess my advancing age and number of dermal injections have become a matter of recommending and deciding on the number of syringefuls that are necessary to fill in lines that just seem to increase as time moves forward. Maybe I was in denial, because my past spa visits elsewhere didn't require as much filler as I seem to require now. Putting my denials and discouragement aside, I broke down and agreed to try another brand of dermal filler called Radiesse. It is a little thicker and with time and consistency, it promises to stimulate your body's own collagen production! I have high hopes that it will at least give me better results. The spa owner gave me a 20% discount on my second visit. Beauty isn't cheap, but I highly recommend the Beauty Chateau for anyone looking to improve their appearance and maybe take a few years off at the same time! Unfortunately, I'm back to write an update on this review with poor results. The Radiesse I had encouraging hope for did not last. In fact, it was fading away after about a month. I'm not sure if the products are not as good as they used to be or my age is the factor. I'm very discouraged that dermal fillers are no longer giving me the extra boost I was once excited about. Do I try another brand? Must I get double or triple doses? Will I be wasting my money once again? That is the exact IV insertion site on my left wrist. She first tried to insert it at my inner elbow, missed, and had to remove it. Then she told me she was "activating my fight or flight." I felt completely cornered by that kind of language. It really came across like she was trying to play mind games. I disagree with her response -- it was inaccurate and doesn't reflect what actually happened. I never received a phone call where I used foul language, and I won't accept being portrayed like that. If you want to tell the police, go ahead. I'm filing my own report too, because the way this was handled deserves documentation. This whole thing feels like a form of intimidation -- and it's honestly disturbing. Her public response stated the IV site wasn't consistent with the infusion. That's the exact site she used. It's frustrating and strange to see a professional misrepresent something so basic. After this experience and reading her public reply -- I can say with confidence something about this clinic feels off.
