Cute little ice cream shop at the marina in Eureka! Everything else was closed and had a sweet tooth so decided to come here! Their ice cream is home made with local ingredients, service was super nice. The ice cream was delicious!! Had to come back everyday we were in town!

Living the Dream Ice Cream was a decent spot to grab a sweet treat. We had just finished eating nearby and thought we'd stop by for some dessert. Just a heads up--there can be a line, so plan accordingly if you're in a rush. The ice cream was good, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back. Definitely nice for a casual stop if you're already in the area and craving something sweet.

A cute little place by the water. Love their flavors. The staff was very helpful. No samples, however, so I went with gut feeling. Tried the non-dairy strawberry and it tasted different, but still ok. Orange cream was yummy.

Ice cream is very good! I got a scoop of grandpas breakfast and dream sweet cream! Would come back

Definitely a gem to grab ice cream by. It was chilly when we dropped by on mother's day weekend as we were in town for a graduation, and this place was busy. They was indoor and outdoor seating, but small tables. They also had dairy free options. My MIL was such a fan that we went again the next day where she grabbed 2 more scoops. There was always a never-ending line ongoing when we came. If ever in the area, we would come back.

Came in with 5 kids all excited about getting something... what a terrible attitude from the cashier, the eye rolls were so unnecessary. If a customer makes a request, it's always best to accommodate to keep clientele but hey the attitude made it so we don't come back. We are out of town but next time we come we will make sure to go elsewhere. Not friendly and very rude.

We had to try this place since our friend always tells us he's "living the dream". I ordered the salted caramel gelato and it was creamy and great way to end the night. Definitely would come back if we are in town.

Beautiful Humboldt Bay Boardwalk area's only Italian Gelato, Ice Cream, assortment of sorbet with astonishing soft, simply delicious cone that was recently made hot from the oven, soft, warm and chewy just like their Gelato! The cone with half and half was $7 but the amount the cone had was actually two big scoops of the best soft Gelatos I had since the Milano's at the Dome shopping center.

Great ice cream, super awesome service. 10 outta 10 Got the Gelato Pistachio. Mom Can't go wrong with ice cream!

    Pistachio Gelato, airy and icy.

It's cute that it's on the boardwalk, but the idea of it was much better than the experience. They have a lot of unique flavors, but they don't do samples so don't ask. They had this Turkish delight flavor that I was curious about but decided against it since I wasn't sure I would like it. Honestly I should have just went for it because the pistachio Gelato I did get wasn't great. Bland in flavor with an icy texture. Not enjoyable at all. Also, the fact that the person behind the counter just grabbed the inside of the waffle cone with bare hands was a bit of putting to me. The service isn't the best. Not rude per say, but certainly not welcoming. I feel I paid far to much for what I got.

Cheers to Living the dream while eating this delicious ice cream! Check online for constantly changing flavors such as Mexican Hot Chocolate etc. Currently my favorite ice cream flavor is called Honey Graham. You can taste notes of honey and chunks of graham crackers. This is the spot to visit if you want to support local Eureka business!

Open until 9pm was perfect for an after dinner treat. Ice cream was delicious. Gelato tasted more like ice cream, too, but tasty.

The first hiccup, was the restaurant is less than 10 minutes from our place, yet from the time I ordered to the time the food came, it was just under an hour. Plus, it was after lunchtime on a Saturday, which should've meant that the place should have been less busy That's a long wait for a short distance. The food itself was pretty good. My first order was the cod, fritters. The flavor was good. I could definitely taste the cod. What I didn't care for, was the texture. They were pretty gummy. I don't know if that's how they are supposed to be or not, but I was not a fan of the texture. They did come with a red sauce for dipping, but it was a bit too spicy for me. On the other end of the spectrum, however, was the curried goat, which I loved. I called ahead to ask if it was spicy, and they said, not really. And they were right. It wasn't really that spicy. It was a mellow spice that made my forehead sweat just a little bit, but well within what I like for spicy. The flavor itself was fantastic. The goat was bone in, but it was so tender. It was literally falling off the bone. Goat can be gamey, but this wasn't. It had a nice mellow flavor. There was also a gravy, which had a deep, rich flavor, and the rice had a good texture and a nice flavor also. It didn't taste like plain white rice. Overall, even with the delivery cost, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely order from here again, but the next time I would go into the restaurant instead of doing delivery. Also, while I liked the flavor of the cod, fritters, next time I would order something else. Thank you so much for an overall good meal.

This was the worst bomboclaat Jamaican food we ever had in our life along with the worst service…read more My BF and I walked into this restaurant on Saturday, 1/3/2026 around 2pm. The door was open with the open sign up so we assumed they were open for business. We walked in to someones old Jamaican granny behind the counter alone and confused. I'm not sure if she meant to leave the door open but the hours of operation that were posted were well within the time we came. When we walked in, granny asked us if we wanted to eat in or take it to go. We said to go and proceeded to look at the menu. The menu looked like it had good stuff but when we asked granny if she had the fish or the patties, she said she had neither (what kind of Jamaican spot doesn't have patties?!). My BF wanted jerk chicken and fries and granny said she had that. I, myself, honestly did not want anything because they did not have the fish but settled for roti. I wanted roti with beef at first but granny said they did not have that either (I honestly think she just didn't know where anything was) so I said nevermind. Then granny got on the phone with the person that left her alone - referred to only as "she/her" and that person said that they had roti with chicken so I reluctantly agreed. After granny got our orders she began cooking. My BF and I sat down at the tables all the way to the left next to that makeshift wall and waited for about 30 mins for granny to make the food. During those 30 mins we waited, we noticed a lot of interesting things - there is mold around the window on the left if you are facing the door from the inside. Yikes. I was looking down at my phone and saw black smoke following me only to look up and see poor granny in a cloud of smoke behind the counter. It was then that my boyfriend told me "does she need help?" We could clearly see she was struggling to make the food. Mind you, the whole reason we decided to stay was because we thought granny was going to throw down but we were totally wrong. Granny packed up the food and then I asked her how much I owed her to which she got on the phone again with the person that left her alone and came back with $36.27. LUCKILY I had cash but unfortunately granny didn't have any change so I ended up giving her $40 in cash. Right before we left, granny asked us if we wanted to take a drink with us. I was honestly thinking that granny was telling us to get a drink because we overpaid her by a few dollars but she ended up trying to charge us for it. WTF? I pulled out my calculator and told her we paid her an extra $3.73 which covered the price of the soda. She was saying things that were really hard to understand but I think she thought that extra $3.73 was a tip. I don't tip on pick up or to go orders ever. Finally, after going back and forth with granny, she told us to take the soda that was on display, which was warm and maybe old. She surely did not know where the cold ones were. We went into our car to eat the food and it was horrible. The jerk chicken was not jerk at all. It was marinated with something but it definitely was not jerk. Granny just threw it on the grill and overcooked it because the thigh was tough and dry. The roti I got was not the flaky kind and it was whatever. None of us finished our food. The only thing that was good was the warm soda. Whoever left granny alone and confused is dead wrong. We know she tried so we give her credit for that but it was still overall a strange situation. Please fix that mold ASAP.

It hit the spot on a sunny Eureka day. To my surprise, I got a freebie, with the barista making more than what would fit in the cup. The excess was poured into an additional cup, and given for free. Lovely wall art that appears to be from local artist. I really want to give it 5 stars - the only downside was - and I have to be honest - there was a homeless man who came into the cafe and started yelling repeatedly at the clerk and other patrons. This is NOT the fault of the owners but when I'm in side of a restaurant or cafe and eating I think it's reasonable to want to feel safe. This was early in the morning and after this aggressive person left there were steadily more and more customers coming in and I felt safer/better This is a great place and I hope anyone who is visiting Eureka to stop by and enjoy this popular place

Boy have I been eating so unhealthy on this trip, but you know that because you are following. Is that part of the reason I am having so much fun? This did not disappoint.
