This was going to be a low review but, due to the excellent customer service response I JUST received at their office in Henderson, I changed my mind. I may still return if things don't pan out as promised of course.. Everything went well with the sales guy and I think the whole thing is of great value, my disappointment was with the attitude of one of the installers who gave me nothing but short answers and simply did not want to talk to me. He said a couple of times that he needs to finish his job and that if I had questions to call the office or the sales rep... Well I JUST found out that on that particular day, the guy in question, his dog passed away and he was devastated. I now feel bad for even confronting him or bringing it up again.. LivSmart is honestly just a horrible company overall. We decided to go with them because I knew someone who worked for the company, so I trusted that we'd be taken care of. Our inverter broke back in March, and the only reason we even found out was because we noticed our energy bill had been unusually high for the past few months. We called on August 3rd and were told the replacement part would take 5-7 days to arrive. It's now August 10th, and we haven't received a single call, update, or follow-up from them. I've tried calling four times this morning, and no one has even answered the phone. After looking through their Yelp and Google reviews, it's pretty clear that this isn't an isolated experience. At this point, it honestly feels like they just don't care about their customers once they have your business. Meanwhile I was promised a reverse tilt with supposedly everything at engineering months ago yet nothing. Now they won't even respond to messages. They will take your money and disappear even if you have issues. Go somewhere more reputable!!! Should be ashamed!!! *This review may change if LivSmart ever acts like a company and handles their errors but as it stands this is my review: Avoid this company at all costs unless you like your money being taken from you and then never hearing from them again. They promised that all panels would be installed where they would be most productive - that was a lie. Out of 15 panels their technicians chose to install 12 of them on a North facing roof (anyone who knows anything about solar knows this is a no-no as North facing does not get much sun) as a result of this install my system is only producing at 30% of what it should (see pictures for "acceptable" production after months and months). I have been dealing with trying to get this addressed since November and just get run around. My rep Michael is the only good thing about this company as he at least responds to messages and tries to assist. LivSmart claims they will contact you but then nobody does. It has been months! I am now going to have to file a contractors board claim, claim against their bond and any other claim I possibly can to try and recoup some of the losses as the system is a complete joke. It should not be hard to figure out how to move panels around to produce better or replace with higher producing panels. If the North roof is the only place for the system you should have 1. notified me and discussed vs just installing or 2. Installed higher efficiency panels, adjusted panel angles/height etc. to get more production. Even if a few stay on the north roof and the rest are in high producing areas that would be fine but they won't even respond to calls or emails or even their own reps it seems. And the topper on all of this? They have no respect for your roof when installing. The installers damaged 13 tiles on my roof. I would not have known about them (as they conveniently did not mention the damage) had a roofing company in the area not noticed and reached out to me. Now I am out $750 more to repair these tiles as I can assume LivSmart will once again dodge all calls and I cannot have that many broken tiles allowing moisture into my attic space anytime it rains. Anyone looking at solar do yourself a favor and keep looking. These guys are not the answer based on the experience I and many others seem to be having. A representative named Carlo came out with his partner to discuss solar for our home. The appointment went fine and we made it clear during the visit that we were not interested at the moment. He was very persistent in sending messages regardless if we answered or not we had made it clear we were not interested. I guess not answering him was too much to handle because his last text message ended with an offensive and discriminatory comment "Did you get deported?". This was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory and unacceptable. No customer should ever be subjected to this kind of behavior. UPDATE: DO NOT USE THIS SOLAR COMPANY!!!!!!! After already having issues to get our system up and running, we are now experiencing issues with our system working. Our system is not even a year old and our inverter has COMPLETELY FAILED!!! Even though "it's the best on the market".... clearly NOT!!! Not to mention it's in the middle of summer when it's the hottest (with AC having to be ran consistently) and the longest days of the year to collect solar. I was told that it would take 5-7 days for a new inverter to be delivered.... still waiting for an inverter - hopefully Monday they say..... I also requested a copy of our contract as we were never provided with a signed copy after completing the installation. Took a week to get that!!! I wish there was a way to make LivSmart pay for our electric bill during this period of non-performance..... so please, for the love of all things good.... AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I don't usually write reviews, but this team really deserves it. I was a bit skeptical about going solar at first, but Alex, Justin, and Trizhya made the whole process super smooth and easy. Alex and Justin from the sales team were upfront, helpful, and never pushy. They took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable with everything. Trizhya handled all the coordination and kept me in the loop the entire time--really appreciated her communication. The installers were also great--professional, efficient, and respectful of my property. There are still a few things left to finish up, but so far everything has gone really well, and I fully expect the same great service until the end. If you're thinking about going solar, now's a great time--especially with changes coming to the solar tax credit. Definitely reach out to Justin and Alex. Glad I did. Dishonest & Unprofessional LivSmart Solar showed up at my door twice. I had already done my research with multiple solar companies and explained why solar didn't make sense for my home. The next day, they came back with a "manager" named Brian who tried to sell me a smaller system at a lower price while pretending it was a better deal. When I pointed out the math and that NV Energy is 11¢/kWh (which I confirmed), he argued, insisted I was wrong, and then started swearing at me on my doorstep when I pushed back. My experience with LivSmart unfortunately has not been the best. Initially, it started off pretty decent; granted I was not looking to install solar in my home - don't know anything about solar, never considered it, but the sales representative was very knowledgable, pleasant and won me over. I believe there was mention of one year free which factored into my decision to get the solar; however, it was not included in the contract. The installation of the panels were not completed as initially explained to me. During the installation process, several tiles on my roof were broken. It rained for a whole day before the technician could finish repairing the broken tiles, which caused additional concern as I worried about possible water damage to my roof. I had to monitor the ceiling which was no fun at all as this was not covered under my new home warranty. It was brought to my attention by another solar company, LivSmart did not affix mesh to prevent birds from nesting under the panels and chewing up the wires. I have inquired several times about it with the lady/office project planner, I won't mention her name, but she knows. The lady/office project planner refuses to respond to my inquiries about it. LivSmart finally came out to paint the conduit; I had to stay on them to get that done -- the technician advised he was on his way but without an appointment. I had to refuse because I was not home, We scheduled the appointment and then he canceled; we rescheduled and he was a no show. Another gentleman came out to paint and checked on the mesh for me to see if it was included in the contract; it wasn't but he did say the sales representative would follow/up with me; to date, that has not happened. I asked the lady/office project planner if I was approved to operate by my HOA because I was told they would submit the application for the improvement to my property and inform my neighbor of what would be taking place; I was later advised my HOA approved the application but no documentation to that end was shared with me. Again, I received no response from the lady/office project planner. I just received notification from my HOA I am in violation because there is no approved application on file with them for solar panels. I am aware there is language in the LivSmart contract advising this was my responsibility; however, at the time, I had no reason not to believe what I was told. . I would not recommend LivSmart for solar. For any individual to spend $30,000 in this climate or any amount of money for that matter on solar, and be subjected to deal with staff who are disingenuous and/or unprofessional is unacceptable. Said he worked for your company and was installing solar down the street and had drones in the air. Weird, especially after I told him he needed Police Department approval for drones. He then walked away and got into a Honda van with other kids. Dishonest Salesman Jeff Bronson spent three hours in my home in early June making lots of promises and sold me a system I'm pretty sure I don't need. He promised one year of free payments, 3-4 weeks installation/activation and made a big show of calling his boss to "negotiate" a free smart thermostat. He talked a lot bout how he is still good friends with all of his customers and gets invited to family cook outs etc .... He was very attentive and responsive to my texts all the way up until the equipment was installed and I couldn't back out anymore. Then he ghosted me. I texted on July 18th, August 7th, and September 8th asking about the status of my system and thermostat only to get a contact card for the Henderson Office in response. After going through the full summer and paying full power bills through the hottest months of the year, and calling several times, they finally got the system turned on mid-September. It took 3 phone calls to the office to finally get the thermostat installed. They did something wrong and I have to pay an electrician to come fix it. I still don't have the check for the year's worth of payments I've been promised. Every time I call (9/23, 9/24, 10/20, 11/7) they tell me it's in accounting. They won't give me answers, say they have to check with accounting, won't transfer me to accounting so I can talk to someone there, and keep telling me someone will call me back. No one has ever called me back. Do not do business with this company they talk a good game up front, but fall very VERY short in the customer service department and do not deliver on their promises. read more

I should have read Yelp before I signed up. This has been nothing but a mess from the start. No phone calls to confirm, waiting days for documents, didn't tell me when the install was scheduled for so boy was I shocked when someone showed up at my door at just after 7am to complete a process I know wasn't approved by my HOA. Thankfully I got in writing that they will pay for the fines/fees the HOA is likely to process for me. I have called their office a half a dozen times and not one single time has someone returned my call. The ONLY call I have received was to let me know the DocuSign (that was sent 3 days later than promised) was sent over. This company couldn't be less professional or organized. Even the installation Rep admit it is a very common complaint. I bought a home which included in the purchase the ownership of the The L5100 LYNX Touch home security system. The previous owner was not a nice person, she refused to give me the security code to access the security system or to turn off the alarm. She also brought a crew that climbed over my wall to open the gate and steal the concrete picnic table she said came with the house four days AFTER the house closed and anything left behind was legally mine. I was told to prosecute, but left it alone. The previous owner had discontinued the Monitoring Subscription package offered by LiveSmart Automation (702-739-9834), but the security system was operating fine, it alerted to announce door openings even when the alarm was not activated and all was great for over a year. Then I accidently opened the front door while the ALARM was activated and the ALARM SIREN went off. I ran to the L5100 Console to shut down the alarm, but did not have the access code. The only solution was to pull all power cords to the transformer and take the cover off the Alarm Console to disconnect the battery. THIS BRICKED THE L5100 CONSOLE! To get back in, I would need the Installer Code or the Master Code which ONLY LIVESMART AUTOMATION has, since they installed the unit. I called them and told them I bought the house WITHOUT their monitor subscription, but the unit SOLD WITH THE HOUSE, SO I AM THE NEW OWNER OF THE SECURITY SYSTEM... FREE AND CLEAR OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. I was told by LIVESMART AUTOMATION employees and I believe a supervisor that they would not give me THE MASTER CODE TO A SECURITY SYSTEM I OWN, THUS... IT IS MY CODE, NOT THEIRS... unless I subscribed to their Monitoring Subscription. EFFECTIVELY, THE SYSTEM IS MINE... I OWN IT, SO THE MASTER CODE IS MINE, BECAUSE WITHOUT IT MY SYSTEM IS BRICKED... USELESS... INACCESSABLE... so they are holding my MASTER CODE HOSTAGE and refuse to give it to me unless I pay to subscribe to their monitoring service. WORST company I have experienced. Complete scam. Full or promises and never delivered. Save yourself the headache and RUN. I signed for leased solar panels and they fraudulently sent in my signatures on a loan document instead. Once they locked me in they said "they don't know how it happened and there's nothing to do about it" I have proof and signed contacts for a LEASED unit, yet they purchased units using my signature without my knowledge or permission and took it upon themselves to cancel the leased contract. The finance company is investigating FRAUD as they also have no record of my verbal authorization to proceed. Which is illegal to do so yet they still proceeded the loan. I have all paperwork, dates and time stamped for proof and records that they fraudulently proceeded with purchase units instead of the leases into contract. This is a HUGE deal and a major scam, when I went in to speak to the manager in person they shut me down and said "the person who did this doesn't work here anymore" and they continued to provide no answers or a solution and kept saying "I don't know" with any question scenario I asked. The two employees, Chris and Garrett no longer work for the company so I can't talk to them and interesting enough, they were fired around the same time I signed up for the leased units. Chris was the manager and Garrett was the sales rep. Liv smart won't even look into it or investigate it which is a huge red flag. They know they screwed up and have been completely blowing it off. Since they won't communicate in a professional manner I am forced to file a lawsuit against them and the finance company. I will also report this to Department of Business and Industry Nevada Consumer Affairs & Nevada Contractor's Board. There is NO way I can let them get away with this. Not only for my sake but, I to avoid this from it happening to anyone else. This is truly the WORST Buisness practice I've ever experienced & a complete scam. Livsmart company installed 24 solar panels and we are getting credit back every month since ev energy is still giving back .75 for electricity not used every day. I paid for the whole system in cash and in 6 to 8 years it will pay for itself. The best part is I have Stephanie and Ben from LivSmart worked out the details. Long story short he said he could get me this adt system installed and a bunch of free equipment etc., but it turned out to be an elaborate and expensive scam. You WILL pay for your equipment, they WILL run a HARD pull on your credit report. They WILL try to hide the fact you'll pay ADT and then them separately for the equipment. Never work with these guys I have to pay ADT three years and if I move I have to pay the three years what's left of it, pay for no service until the three years is up or move the equipment. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! For anyone that was scammed by their false promises please message me here and we will file a petition together. As we were in the market for solar panels, Nick Lepinskie approached us, offering solar services, water softener and turf installation. Our agreement was $33,000 for the solars, $6,000 for the water softener system, ADT and Turf installation. On March 8th, 2024 we received a loan approval with Goodleap for $48,000. On March 21st, 2024, our solar panels was installed. April 4, 2024 Livsmart cancelled my loan without my permission nor notification and re-ran my credit to apply for a higher loan, $57,000, in which we weren't approved because of the decrease in our credit scores, then they tried reapplying for the original loan which is 48k and couldn't get approved as well. Firstly, we never received the funds for our ADT equipment, ADT subscription of up to 3 months, and turf installation as promised. We ended up having to pay out of pocket for our ADT equipment. The agreement then, was that they would re-try applying again once our credit score went up and would be eligible for a loan- no time frame given. Now, they put a lien on our house for $57k which is inaccurate because the only services we received from Livsmart were the solar which is $33.038.25 and water softener for $6k. We signed the contract with Livsmart march 8th stating $33,038.25 for the solar panels Now their lawyer is claiming $42,168.83 for both solar and water softener. $3,161.56 for management fees and permits and they're claiming that they gave us $12,646.22 towards the turf which we never received, and also an inaccurate amount since they said from the beginning that we're only going to be receiving 8k towards our turf installation. Already filed a complaint with the Nevada Contractors board and will be suing this company for their scam. read more

Live Smart Automation is an independent dealer for ADT and not actually ADT. When I signed up, with them, I did not realize this, and things did not go well for me. I thought I could cancel my service with them after one year and then I realized that the cancellation​ was good for only 3 days. Obviously​ I was way misinformed. This review comes from dealing with them for over a year. Unfortunately my experience was a nightmare from beginning to end. I wish that my experience was 3,4 or 5 stars like the rest but it was not and for very good reasons. I have been calling and leaving messages at this office since May and never get a call back. Now it's mid June. Then when I finally do reach someone, I end up having the same conversation I've had the first time I called which is I want to pay off my bill please send me the form. And the answer I always get is yes we will send it to you right away. Guess what? I never get that email and I never get what was promised in the mail and I never get a phone call back. Nothing ever happens. This call today is the 6th or 7th phone call to try to settle this account and or work something out even since much earlier in the year and no one has done anything about it. This is literally one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. I have never seen such complete lack of customer service and lack professionalism and integrity. I've already done everything in my power to pay this company what I need to and they are literally refusing to help me to do what is right. I offered to pay them by credit card and they refused that method of payment even though they've had all of my information now for over a year. At this point I don't know if they're running some sort of scam or just don't know how to run a company. But if you're looking for ADT services please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The last thing I expected to do was buy a solar system for my house this week. Mickey and Andrea showed up to my door and he was extremely professional and courteous. I normally slam the door on a salesman that comes to my home. Andrea and Mickey's professionalism and their courteous manners let me give them a chance to talk. They told me some interesting facts about Nevada energy, and how they're raising the rates. They offered to pay the first 6 months payments if I sat with him 48 hours. Did my research and it turns out everything he said was true. So when he got to my house. I was very interested in what he had to say. He was very professional, clean and courteous to me and my wife. They were friendly with my children and truly cared about my home. They backed up everything they said in my home with facts. He's a true gentleman a great salesman and Andrea was the same. They truly cares about your home and your family and how much they can save you. I had Terrible thoughts about Solar because I heard horror stories from my friends. They explained why these problems happened and assured me that they wouldn't happen to me because they built my system out correctly. I highly suggest calling Livsmart and getting a hold of Mickey and Andrea. Not only are they trustworthy, but the company is reliable and has been in business since 2010. Their sales guy's were great, slightly pushy, but that is sales (get over it cry babies). They explained everything I was getting and I agreed and signed the contract, people love to complain about the contract they knowingly signed. I didn't know I could only cancel after 3 days, yes you did. Their girl from the office called and went over the application right after I signed and advised me of the 3 day cancellation and the length of the contract. Anyone who says otherwise changed their mind and is now lying about it. You signed the contract, it's not their fault you signed. The techs that did the installation were awesome. They were in and out super quick and left my house just as clean as it was before. With a 4 and a 6 year old I don't know if that means much though. I did have an issue with the sytem the 2nd month and called Liv Smart, they helped me troubleshoot it and get it taken care of. Their shirts and paperwork, literally everything, says they are an authorized dealer for ADT (it was obvious). There are a few blind, possibly deaf people doing reviews here. Also, I read a review for by Alyssa S all mad they wouldn't give her a W9. Why on earth would they give you a W9? You bought an alarm system, you aren't an independent contractor for them. I've called multiple times for a trouble shooting error they claimed they'd call me back blah blah blah heard it 2 weeks in a row. They will NEVER call you back and will always claim that managers are in meetings. I only got this system because my boyfriend worked for them at the time and made money off my sale for my buisness. I've asked them for a W-9 for 3 MONTHS to know wether or not I need to tax them and they REFUSE to give it to me. Their receptionist are bird brains and always ask "were you an employee of ours?". NO DUMB ASS W-2 and W-9 are two different things! Anyways if you ever have an issue they'll basically never call you back. read more

John V. , the Columbus, Ohio business contact for LivSmart responded immediately to my phone request and met with us after work that evening. He was informative, up front, well prepared and closed the sale. He is a solid ambassador of the company he represents. Daniel came the following day and installed the entire system in 4 1/2 hours. Cameras and all. He was courteous, well prepared, and took the time after the installation to make sure we understood the system and how it works. ADT called from Las Vegas after Daniel left and confirmed that we were satisfied with everything. It was a nice touch. The pricing was surprisingly a great value. The base equipment was free, insured with a maintenance warranty and with our contract, belongs to us. We weren't looking for a bargain, just a solid company that would deliver a security system / monitoring service that works. There are many options for home security systems. Like insurance however, it only takes one "event" to determine if you are well covered... Our experience with LivSmart has been a good one. We feel that they would be a good choice for anyone looking for home security / automation. read more

I just had 2 sales people from Live Smart knock on my door trying to sell me a ADT security system. They were very pleasant when I opened the door and chatting very nicely. Then I told them I already had a system and did not want to waste their time. The woman tells me "this is my job" and then starts questioning what type of system I had. I told them that I am aware of what ADT can provide with their systems and I'm not interested. Then she asks me to tell her what I know about ADT systems. I told her again I'm not interested and then she give me some attitude and walks away. Not sure why Live Smart is doing a high pressure sales pitch. read more

Be careful. Live Smart promises amazing customer service but then just transfers your account to ADT after 90 days where you receive the worst customer service in the world. Be ready to wait 2+ hours to get through to anyone in the phone there, and then be prepared for them to charge you for any little thing (like fixing a defective installation from Live Smart). Live Smart will also tell you they need to come "inspect" your alarm after installation, but will really just come in your house and try to sell you solar panels. read more

He saved me a ton of money on all of the things I planned on buying to protect my home and he was able to get me installed the same day we spoke!
