This is a horrible con. the show up in ADT clothes and boards. At first they seem very professional. But in the first 3 months issues back to back. they do not log their notes I for service work. ADT does not intervene but allows this representation of them. These cameras cannot CCTV to a tv or computer. They are short range for wifi. you cannot adjust record times in a user friendly manner. I couldnt even attach the wall tablet to the internet without a technician having to come visit. the doorbell system will notify you 5 to 15 minutes after being pressed at times. the volume from the cameras is inconsistent as well the mic hardly picks up normal volume in a conversation. the dead bolt will unlock on its own or notify that it is unlocked when the lock is engaged. they will hold you to a 36 month contract nothing shorter on a cancelation. almost 2000 to cancel a service and place your equipment into financing with synchrony bank. a tablet, 2 cameras, 1 doorbell camera, 1 dead bolt equals 1500$ in equipment and is semi functional. 3500 approx for a rapid con there is no warranty doesnt matter if you have issues you are stuck with this. read more

Amazing and highly recommended, they had come by my new home in the southwest part of Las Vegas. I had tons of different vendors come by all day everyday. Most just discrediting their competitor. Well I had Nik and Dutch come by and typically I just tell sales guys that I'm renting or not interested. But we scheduled an appointment to go over some options they had for solar, security and etc.. They were able to get us a great option which was not only saving us a lot of money but it didn't cost anything to go solar. We signed up with them and started the process on going solar. The very next day I began to have more people come by from solar saying that they were doing work in my neighborhood but I'm the only one of 4 homes and the others aren't sold yet. So I knew these other companies were lying or just tying to sell me. I let one company set an appointment with me to see if Livsmart was the best deal? Luckily the other reps did nothing more but bash the Livsmart Reps for almost the entire presentation. It made me feel uneasy some of the things they were saying about these 2 guys personally. I did not know that solar was so cut throat. I decided to stay with Dutch and Nik. It's been 4 months now and just wanted to thank them with a great review. Had rep Blake Halverstadt come to my door. Nice guy but some of the information was not clear to me so I decided to cancel my contract the next morning. They only have one rep working in the office and was told my contract could only be cancelled by the cancellation department and they were not in at 8am when I called. Asked for the name of a supervisor with an email and phone number and they said they could not provide this to me. Keep in mind these contracts have to be cancelled within three days of signing not three days from installation. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

I had a sales rep from Livsmart knock on my door last spring trying to sell us solar. I had been considering solar at the time so we heard him out. I decided to move forward with the preliminary steps and signed some paperwork to get things moving. I was promised multiple times that nothing I was signing was final and that I could cancel any time before approving the final designs. A few days later I met with a rep from a different company that was selling a better product for less money and decided to move forward with them. The new sales rep and I called Livsmart and canceled the project. I didn't speak to anyone else at Livsmart for months, until late July when a finance company emailed me saying my loan had been approved and funds had been disbursed to the solar contractor (a company called Freedom Forever). I immediately reached out to Freedom Forever and the support rep told me he could see where my project was canceled back in April but that the sales rep from Livsmart had gone back in and pushed the project through anyway. I am now being told that I can't cancel. The project has been pushed through the final design, without my approval, and submitted to the city for permitting. I have spoken with other solar companies on the matter and have been told that Solar projects in Arizona can legally be canceled up until the physical install has begun (screws in roof). I have reached out to Livsmart multiple times trying to discuss this, but continue to be ignored. If you are looking for solar in the Phoenix area, avoid Livsmart at all costs. *Worth noting... I worked with Livsmart for an ADT install back in February and had a great experience so I trusted the solar sales rep when he was making all of these promises. Kyle and Anders came to my door, was a little skeptical but the more I talked with them the more comfortable I got with it. They never pushed a system or tried to upsell me if anything they asked "are you even interested in security system at the moment" giving me the option to go back in my house and carry on my day. DO NOT TRUST. Use literally anyone else if you value honesty, your time, and your money. This company will try and convince you you have no choice but to pay what they tell you too. They installed extra equipment that I did not ask for, then charged me for it. Tried to cancel the contract as I did not appreciate that, they told me I couldn't even though it was within the first 3 business days and the contract clearly states that I could. Tried to charge me $1,000 uninstall fee, when I signed the contract the uninstall fee was not listed, so I asked what it would be the salesperson assured me it would be $100 which I thought was reasonable. But the moment I try to cancel all of the sudden it's $1,000. I refused to pay it, they refused to pick up their equipment. Per THEIR CONTRACT I now own the equipment free of charge as they left it here for over 20 days despite my several attempts to get them to pick it up. I had to contact ADT and the finance company via phone and email to make it clear I was trying to cancel because live smart was actively lying to them and trying to tell them that I did not want to cancel and then tried to tell them I could not. ADT confirmed my right to cancel. I was charged nothing, I own all the equipment. They are untrustworthy scammers and they are not even good at that. Read the contract, know your rights, don't pay them a thing unless it is specified in the contract that you have to do so. They will take you for whatever they can. I sat on the phone hours crying and pleading with them and they were cold, mean, insulted me, yelled at me, hung up on me, etc. that is why I went above their heads to ADT and dividend finance. Zech was our sales rep who convinced me to reconsider ADT over Brinks. He was a really no pressure no upsale kind of guy. His personable touch made it feel as if we were part of the ADT family and the beloved WOLFPACK! Thanks Zech, Issac (the Installer), and Brandon for making our security needs met! My only complaint, if you will, is about the ADT cameras in and of themselves. There's no zoom feature to better cover an area with readable facial recognition on the in home and outdoor cameras. Images are insanely small. They are 720p HD which honestly isn't all that spectacular. Also, only black encased cameras arer for indoors so they can be rather obvious on light colored walls. The Ring camera however; lives up to the 1080p HD quality. Sorry guys, it has to be acknowledged somewhere but in no way is it Live Smart Automation's fault. read more

Absolutely terrible company. They have zero respect for their customers and don't offer any flexibility. We signed up on a Friday and the service was installed Saturday. We had signed for a right to cancel three business days but they wrote a different date that was 2 business days out on a normal calendar. They decided to say that Saturday counts as a business day, which is not clearly stated in the contract or was not verbally said during our signing and any normal person would go off of Monday through Friday. There reps on the front like we're nice, their supervisors absolutely rude, and their manager worthless. Don't do business with this shady company. They need to take their worthless business practice back to Nevada and continue to mislead people there because Arizona doesn't need them. read more

A representative from this company named John promised me that he could transfer my ADT system from one home to another at no cost. I asked him several times if he was sure that he could do this and he said yes. Ends up, he should have referred me to the relocation department of ADT but he wanted the sale for himself. Salesmen came to my house right when we started moving in. I asked them to come two weeks later so I am more situated in the house. They came a week later on a day where all the furniture and appliances were getting delivered. Asked them to come back the day we initially agreed on. They never showed up on the day. The salesmen came a day later when I had family in town and I said I wasn't interested anymore. Salesmen ended the conversation by thanking me for wasting his time. My name is Kelly rodriguez this review is for the home I live in which belongs to my father Stephen hillabrand . We purchased a solar system from this company in Nov of 2021 they installed January of 2022 and the system was nkt turned on until Sept of 2022. Since being turned on the system has produced less and less energy every month. I've called every month asking for someone to come out and fix it and noone ever calls back . My husband did get ahold of one of the tech managers and he stated that because the system is functioning they won't come out . The guy that sold us the system his name is Brandon Searle he assured my husband that the system woukd produce 19 to 20000 kwh per year . The system is barely producing half of what it supposed to be . They made us cut down all of our trees to make sure we would get what was needed . The system ended up cost 50k and we are paying 185 a month plus a power bill every month since it's been turned on the system should have covered what we need . We believe the issue lies in the system size , panel type , inverter type and or system malfunction . The compamy claims to give a labor and label warranty for 25 years but yet we cannot get anyone to come out and look at our system do a diagnostic to be sure the Panels are all functioning properly. It's pure laziness and poor customer service . Before you by solar or alarms from this comapmy do yiur research. Make sure they are installing the proper system Size and the proper equipment. We will be filing lawsuit against this company for lying and over estimating the real production. We new there was an issue when they swapped the original panels for a small panel just to get us installed we should have waited . I can't stress enough please don't trust these guys unless they show you the statistics on usage for your home a d fo nkt buy unless it fully offsets what you need . read more

I'm disappointed in ADT's authorized retailer. The service associate was friendly when first selling the service to us and offering a first month waiver as a discount for new home ownership. The waiver was received 2 months later after reaching out multiple times, and they didn't pay the amount promised. There was no documentation to prove of this promised waiver other than to text the original associate. read more

Shopped competitors in the area this month and went with ADT though this local live smart automation office. The experience we had felt far more personal to our home than the other sales offers we had. After letting five companies quote our home in Henderson, we felt this company was most interested in our custom experience. We were fortunate enough to get the system on a promotion! Lifetime warranty on all items, access to local armed guards if we ever have a break in, and they gave us a camera for free so we can see when we get packages- and the best part was getting installed almost immediately!!! IWe have recommended them to friends, and will continue to do so. Very happy with our relationship with this local office as well as the corporate office. read more

Lesson learned, don't ever use third party "dealers" they will tell you anything and promise you anything to get you to sign on a little sheet of paper that on the smallest line item shows 36 month yet the rep told me at least 25 times that this was a 12 month contract. Nobody has ever kept their commitment on calling me back or ever following up on their promises. Just moved into a new house Henderson, NV and I'm being harassed by Live Smart Sales reps showing up on my property unannounced. I visited the office to report my dislike and disinterest in the services. What happened next more sales reps show up later in the evening trying to push a sale of a service that they can't even define nor provide logical premise for things they say. How does putting up an adt sign with a number they don't want anyone to call help their business and they is no clarity on what charges they want who gets what what's free what's not where they get equipment who pays who. It is a royal dishonest cluster of a mess. I emailed the address provided to request no further encroachment on my property no interest in talking sales, my lawyer has the message, and I will be contacting the local police department down the street to report harassment if I see more reps on or near my property. It's all a crock. I was able to get better offers from the company I chose for home security. Pressure sales is stressful but you have to know when to lay off. read more

I made the mistake to agree to their policy $71.99 package which would include a camera for the garage. They didn't have it at the time of installation, waited a week for them to come in and install it. They couldn't get it to work so offered an additional date to come back. They came in and said they weren't compatible with what I had. They went ahead and charged me a pro rated amount of $132 including the following month. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! read more

Worst decision ever choosing ADT via LIVE SMART. I didn't know this was a different company contracting with ADT. Rodrigo the sales rep didn't mention anything about Having an interest rate when financing. We also had trouble with the sky bell. It took forever to load then we get the retry or troubleshoot screen. The doorbell was not connected properly to the chime box. It took them 3 times and the manager had to come out to figure out what was wrong. When cancelling service their cancellation department never returned my call. I had to call them back but was still told they would give me a call back. When I finally was able to speak to someone from the cancellation department I was told I could return the equipment as long as their technicians remove it. When I called them back to schedule the appointment for their techs to remove the equipment I was told I couldn't return it because it was financed with aqua, which is BS because they sent me an updated invoice without the equipment pricing as if the equipment was being returned. They told me management will return my call and they still haven't. This is ridiculous!!! Don't ever choose ADT via LIVE SMART. Scammers and only want your money not what is best for the customer. I wish I could give a rating of zero stars. I signed up with them for solar and it has been THE BIGGEST mistake. I wish I read reviews prior to signing with them. They are very unprofessional and will sweet talk you and say everything you may want to hear as a customer in order to get you to sign. However, they lack in follow through. Everything they promised me I have had to hunt them down to receive. I was promised that I would have a $13 energy bill and the stupid solar panels haven't made any difference and so I've been paying on average $185 on my energy bill on top of paying to the solar panels. I've asked them about this several times and at first it was "it will get lower". As I proceeded to call month after month; they tried to flip it on me that I'm doing something wrong asking me if extra people have moved into my house or if I leave the lights on all day; which no is the answer to both. I asked if they could compensate me in some way and I was told I don't think that's possible, which is a lie. It's always possible. The only solution they came up with was offering me more solar panels, which they would make me pay for, which isn't a solution at all. Stay away! read more

I am happy with my system. There were a few bumps in the road installing the cameras outside but that had more to do with my router being in a bad area of my house so the signal was having trouble reaching. Unfortunately it took a few visits from the technician and a wee bit more trial and error than I would have liked but that said, they were always very professional, Alvin the installer always called when he was on his way, they were very quick setting a new appointment (I didn't have to wait weeks in between) and never tried to give bogus reasons for why it didn't work. They said they would get it fixed and they did. read more

I worked at the Denver office. The owner Joe Taylor will NOT pay his employees. He will sell you equipment that you never receive and will then duck your calls. THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT FREE which is what they tell you. You will not be able to get a hold of anyone at the Denver office once they have your money. You have been warned. read more

One of your representatives (Natalie Eppich) came to my house saying she could install a system for free as long as I put a sign in my yard. When we were going over the contract she mentioned we have 3 days to cancel but will be charged a "removal fee" install was $99 so I assumed it was in the ballpark of that. Your sales rep NEVER mentioned the the removal fee was $899! THAT IS NOT A "REMOVAL" FEE THAT IS A FEE FOR THE SYSTEM! your sales representative was deceitful and I got ROBBED of 899. Your company claims to be in the interest of protecting people's assets but you used deceit to rob me! Shame on you! read more
