This this place has the best ice cream in town! The cookies and cream is by far the best! If I could give this 10 stars, I would. The staff are amazing! You can tell they actually care about their job. I'm told the owner comes in after hours to make the ice cream for the following day. Either way the place has great chilling area and it's really fun. Just make sure to check out the back. It has a totally different atmosphere than the front or you can just relax just to chill and have some ice cream and get out of the Arizona heat. It was a very funky vibe with when I came. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while given that it's close by my house and there aren't very many icecream spots in the general area. The service was great and the person seemed pretty knowledgeable. I do like that they have unique flavors but I think the icecream was way too sweet for my taste buds. We were eating at a nearby place and started looking for ice cream near us - found this place and y'all... it was good. Service was amazing and informative, the ambiance of the place was so cool and the ice cream was holy-shit good. I've been lactose intolerant all my life (I will suffer for a good time in the moment) and to find ice cream that's lactose free and is delicious and tastes like what the name says it is - hard to find. But not at this place - all of the ice creams are labeled and so good. Would absolutely recommend coming here - we'll be back! read more

Ordered a milk shake. The employee responded stating, "I think I can do that." Well he couldn't and instead I got handed a $8 cup of milk. It was so liquidy I don't know how you could hand that to a customer. Employees definitely were under the influence of some sort of mind altering substance. Oh My God. Best Ice Cream I've ever had. I look forward to my next visit. I had a scoop of the Pistachio because he said it was the best batch he had ever made. I added a scoop of Strawberry Cream Pie also. So decadent with bits of pie crust. The first time I tried Gelato about a decade ago I swore off ice cream. Gelato is so much more creamy and flavorful but this ice cream reminds me of that. Similar texture on my tongue and just full of flavor. No ice, no air, just creamy goodness. And since it's made with such high quality dairy you don't get a stomach ache afterwards. Highly recommended to anyone who likes ice cream. read more

This place truly does not disappoint. Customer service is top-notch. Everyone in the shop is so friendly! We even got a chance to meet the owner of the shop! This place has a lot of really creative ice cream flavors! There are about 10 to choose from, which are all made from scratch in-house. They also make their own cones from scratch. Ice cream taste good but unfortunately it was partially melted. I asked the girl scooping there ice cream "is that melted?" She just responded "not really". A definite winner! Discovered a newfound gem for the area. Walking in, this place just screams fun. There's literally a twister board painted on the floor. Lots of little cute sitting areas with eclectic furniture it's just an overall fun atmosphere. The old TV in the corner was playing I live Lucy! There was a reggae feel and lots of fun decorative lights. I don't think I have enough vocabulary to describe just how cute and fun this place was. Owner Jeff was more than happy to sample us all of the flavors. I stuck with the strawberry cream pie and the fig and goat cheese ice cream. Who would have thought goat cheese could work in ice cream! It totally did. Everything was so cool. It's also a place you can definitely hang out at for a while. Winner winner! read more

I'm so excited to have a new ice cream shop in the neighborhood! Lix makes all their own ice cream and has some interesting flavors (I had their salted butter pecan and rosemary). Their prices are competitive with large single scoops for $5. They don't have hot fudge yet, but maybe soon? Definitely give them a try. read more

Found a great little gem here in uptown Phx. A few friends of mine had told me about this ice cream shop so tonight we decided to try it. I had heard that it was non-dairy and wanted to see the flavor options that they had to offer. The staff was super welcoming and inviting. The owner Rich was so kind and very knowledgeable about the product. You can tell he is very passionate about what he puts out. You are able to sample a few flavors to make the perfect choice in ice cream. You can either get it in a cup or a waffle cone. They also offered milkshakes and a few other things. We decided to try to gansito ice cream, a strawberry cream pie shake, and a vanilla shake, and everything was very tasty. Keep in mind you can make any of the ice cream flavors a milkshake. For it being homemade ice cream, I thought the pricing was very reasonable and the portions are huge. Seating is limited but there is plenty of room for a small group. Everything is very unique to this place which adds character and makes you feel like you are not even in Phoenix. Such a cute little spot to check out. They also have plenty of parking. My new favorite ice cream shop. Absolutely phenomenal! Small and quirky, decorated with unique pieces. The temperature was just right. Very little sitting room inside; some sitting room outside. The clientele was primarily 30 year old adults. It was fairly busy when we visited. The parking lot is small and in okay condition. The staff was friendly, well dressed, and had good hygiene. They allowed us to try samples and had good interactions amongst each other. The rosemary caramel is one of the best ice creams I've ever had; such unique and well paired flavors. The Turkish coffee is the strongest and best coffee ice cream I've ever had, and the mango sticky rice was so delicate and refreshing; a great lactose free choice.
