Incredible spot! We were traveling with grandparents and a kiddo with food allergies (wheat and…read morepeanuts). The hostess who sat us was so sweet and our server did a great job walking us through how they handle allergies. The even have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items! We got to the restaurant between breakfast and lunch. I absolutely recommend everything! My kiddo got a burger and fries that he loved, I got the corned beef hash skillet, my mother-in-law got the fish and chips. The fish and chips were amazing! Huge portions of fish dipped in a light, airy batter. The rest of our party got burgers and highly recommended the truffle fries. We didn't partake in any of their drinks but they had a great menu of options, we will absolutely be back.

Honestly, if your establishment holds 10 or 100 people, the staff and kitchen should be able to manage that number. We saw one table actually leave after waiting longer than us without their food because they had somewhere else to be. Not great. Once the food finally arrived we were so hungry that I'm certain anything would have tasted good. We didn't complain or ask but they did remove one soda from the tab. It's a cute place with a decent menu but I'm on the fence about bothering to give them another try.

Typical classic American diner food at typical classic American diner prices. It is what it is…read more Hot turkey commercial sandwich was as expected: open face pile of turkey breast meat on bread alongside mound of mashed potatoes, all of it slathered in a tsunami of gravy. Bread was toasted & buttered so had an extra hit of flavor for that. Gravy ran to the salty side, but not strongly enough to give your mouth that salt burning sensation I've bumped into a few times in the past. Complimentary cranberry sauce offered a bright note to the meal. Overall a substantial plate o' food that was pretty middle of the road flavor wise. Portion was truck driver mondo!! Definitely enough to fuel you over the pass to Seattle or all the way to Spokane, depending on which way you're headin'. Word of warning: Expect to do laundry when you get home. Smell of oil from the diner's fryer is dominant enough to register strongly as soon as you enter the door shared with the Circle J convenience store next door. As noted, typical-typical-typical. It is what it is.

Worst steak I have ever had. Seriously…read more I ordered food delivered, so I figured it would come not super hot or anything. But when I got my $30 steak I was seriously flabbergasted. It looked like a piece of tree or something. It was SO dry and a terrible cut of meat. I was not expecting anything fancy, but I am not exaggerating when I say this was the WORST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD. I couldn't even eat it after a couple of bites. I was trying to think of something I could make it into, but it was seriously so gross I just had to throw it away, and I hate wasting food. When I ordered it, I specified medium rare and even added the note "on the rare side" since I figured it would keep cooking during delivery. What I got was well-done, brown all the way through, like a fucking hockey puck. The soup was gross and weirdly fatty (like a whole bunch of grease floating in it). The mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty much what I expected-- mostly flavorless and pale. When I contacted the restaurant, they said I had to take it up with the delivery company. I told them, yeah, but you are the ones who cooked this steak. They said to mention it "next time" I come in. I told them I just wanted a refund, as I have no intention of eating there ever. They refused.
