Well, I have to say the Dubai pancakes are keeping me coming. Back to service has improved somewhat.

Our server was nice but the manager sucks!!!! My husband received his country fried steak with maybe a spoon of gravy in the middle of the steak, I asked the manager for extra gravy as she is the one that brought the food over since it was obviously missing gravy. I asked there is not charge since it barely had any and refused to make it complimentary and said that was an extra charge. I explained to the server and said I can refund it and asked her manager and said no. Not people friendly and very disappointed in the customer service from the manager. Will not be returning. The picture on the menu had 10 times more gravy. read more

Well, as yous know, I'm pretty picky when it comes to restaurants and food service. However, it didn't take much pickiness for me to be frustrated. The food was ok - nothing to be impressed about. It took a long time for us to get our water and my hot water with lemon. We were the only people in the restaurant. The waitress was very sweet, but there was no follow up after the food was brought out. It didn't take long for me to know I needed some syrup (I had a three stack of pancakes). I waited until I had eaten half my stack, thinkin she would be back. I finally went looking for some syrup. I found another girl sweeping the floors on the other side of the restaurant. She brought the syrup. My granddaughter's sample appetiser plate was quite nice! She was very pleased with her order, and she did not stop talking about the mozzarella sticks, so clearly a hit. Okay me and my friend went to our local IHOP to get the Dubai chocolate pancakes in the Dubai chocolate and milkshake and when we got there, we ordered our milkshake and when we got our milkshake, there was no silverware or straws to drink it with so we had to wait and the crushed pistachio on top did not come like it did in the picture. It was only whipped cream. Then we ordered our food and we ordered the Dubai chocolate pancakes, but then the server came back around and said they did not have the ingredients to make it so we had to order something else. We both ordered different crêpes, and when we got our food, we started eating and all was good until we found a green spot on my food. Now this wasn't dark green. It was like bright green like artificial dye or something. Then, while my friend was eating her crêpes, she found the same type. Dot on her food although her dot was larger also we had to eat with our hands for a good five minutes because the server kept forgetting to bring us silverware, and then we showed the server the green spots, and he decided to not do anything about it and just say "Oh well, my manager is working in the kitchen" acting like it was none of his business and it didn't matter then we cut the green spots out of our crêpes and continue eating. Also my friend got a iced vanilla coffee and it tasted disgusting. She took one drink of it and didn't touch it again when we went to the bathroom, the toilet was clogged in the handicap stall then when we got back, there two flies on our food this was a horrible experience and I am never going back to IHOP again this food and drinks and vibe was disgusting and unworthy of our time. Blueberry pancakes were good but everything else was terrible the place was dirty and not very busy.. the water the waitress gave me had white chunks all over the glass and stuff floating in the water. I asked for a new one and she said this should be slightly cleaner for you.. I didn't drink it. The hash browns might have been made the day before idk definitely not fresh or warm coulda cracked a tooth, I think I could find a rock easier to chew... the egg had a weird gross looking yolk. Customeraly when a drink order is taken, you fulfill that order and DELIVER. It took 35 min to get our drinks and there was only 5-6 tables sat. You never checked and asked how the service was or if anything else was needed. During main events in your surrounding areas yall should be properly staffed and or know the order of operations as to be a server. When needed more coffee I had to get up and ask for it. Then you had the audacity to slam the carafe on the table as if you were inconvenienced by your duties. Having open communication goes along way. You should check on your guests point blank period. Worse service and we were polite as can be. IHOP please do better read more

Came here after a concert at the Gorge Amphitheater around noon. We got seated after a short wait but ordering took a long time and the food took an even longer time. In total, from when we came in to when we got our food, it was almost an hour. The service was bad, we didn't get utensils and had to grab plastic ones from the shelf. Our water was not refilled. The craziest of them all, when we asked for a take out container for our leftovers, the server gave us a container and a lid that DID NOT MATCH. the lid was not meant for the container we received and I had to carry the container the rest of the drive to prevent it from spilling. I don't understand how simply grabbing a container and the correct lid could be overlooked. The food tasted good but the entire experience completely ruined it. read more

This was genuinely the worst IHOP experience I've ever had. We got sat at a table where the top was about to fall off, we then asked to move and we were sat at a smaller table for five people. Then the server didn't come back to our table we only saw her again when she brought out our food. The food took an hour and twenty minutes to come out and it was cold and the portions were tiny. The server didn't refill our drinks and had an attitude. The silverware we got was dirty as well. I do not recommend!!!! We went right before dinner time and we were told by the waitress that our food would take a little longer tonight due to their morning crew not setting them up. We had to wait 20 minutes to order because the two waitresses were hiding in the back. Upon ordering we waiting an hour and 15 minutes before we got out food. I don't have high expectations from IHOP, especially if I am having it delivered. However, a very simple breakfast was just not well executed. For my hashbrowns, there was the option for regular or crispy and I chose the latter. They came with VERY little browning and were quite undercooked. I even threw them into a pan and cooked them 2-3 minutes, flipped, and cooked again. They were STILL undercooked, so I threw them into the microwave for one and a half minutes. Still undercooked! I swear, I am not some weirdo who wants super crispy or super soft hashbrowns. I just wanted them like everyone does normally. So while I was having to cook my own hashbrowns, of course everything else sat and got cold. I threw it in the microwave, but it's just not the same. I am not lowering the rating for this, but I think it would be great if I could order real maple syrup for an upcharge. read more

Honestly my server was really amazing. We went 04/26/23 and she was a shorter brown skinned woman and she was so fun. We did wait awhile to be seated but it's only because it was so slow. Food came out hot/warm. She remember everything ordered down to a T (sauces, sides, etc.). She made recommendations that I ended up trying and really liking. And she was just a very positive person. I peaked over the booth ONE time and she rushed to my our table to see if we needed anything. I really wish I could've tipped her more, she was amazing. I told her I needed to use the restroom while it was being cleaned and she freed it up for me. Yes, the bathroom does smell. Hell, I think it's nicer than some IHOPs that I've seen in suburbia. Now that we got that out of the way, on to the food. I ordered a Big Steak Omelette and mozzarella sticks...kinda overzealous there but I was really hungry on this particular day. Everything was really good, zero complaints about the food. Those mozzarella sticks definitely hit the spot! Service was also up to par, considering that we rolled in with a party of nine people late on a Sunday night. I was going to write a review of this IHOP, but if you look at all these 1 star ratings you can see I don't really have to. However, if you like a restaurant that offers; waiting for 30 mins. to get a glass of water, if you like waiting another 20 mins. to be able to order, if you like waiting a hour to finnally getting your food, (we were getting up to leave), If you like getting your food cold because it was not picked up on time after being cooked, if you like half of your order being the wrong order and you know you don't have time to kill another hour waiting for a replacement, if you like hearing the wait-staff yell, DOOR! every time they go through the kitchen door (which is about every 12 seconds) and you are sitting only about 15 feet away, if you like being dismissed by the snarky waitress when you complain about the door yelling and the whole staff yells even louder after she tells them about your complaint, if you like waiting forever to even get your check so you can leave, if you like not getting your check and having to go to the front to get it on the way out and being talked down to by a snarky teen-ager because she thinks she has taught you a lesson (remember, Alexia?), and if you don't mind being charged a premium price over $30 for a $5.55 ham and cheese omelet,------then this is the restaurant for you. read more
