We ran into these guys in the market place at the OC Fair. We had recently torn down an old and heavy wood patio cover that needed a ton of maintenance. With the new patio cover, there is no maintenance. The pictures you see are from today, but the patio cover was installed 6 years ago. Ralph did a great job helping us spec out the size we needed. We are planning on adding on soon and finally hanging our ceiling fan since we recently hung a TV outside. The team was professional on installation and knocked it out in a single day. Review for customer service only!! I referred my mom to Hausner because we had such great service and they do fantastic work. Brent Santos came out and was a wonderful salesman. My mom signed the $15,000 contract and from that date on Brent Santos has been unreachable. The patio was installed and the work again was fantastic. However, since the patio cover has gone up, my mom has called six times and not one return phone call. The demo guys broke some bricks and she would like them fixed. In addition, she just has a few questions but without a return phone call she is growing frustrated. Brent Santos needs to be as reliable after the contract has been signed as he was beforehand. read more

Everything for our new patio cover went great from start to finish. We are very happy with it. Garrett Witeck came to our property to measure and discuss options. We chose a really nice sandstone color with corbels and he understood when I said I wanted the cover to curve in the middle to match the concrete patio. We had requested two quotes for two different properties. The first appointment on May 11, 2022 went with no problem but unfortunately we could not get a carport installed due to the close proximity to the property line. For the seond quote we recieved three calls throughout the week to confirm our appointment. On Friday evening we got a call to confirm our second appointment on Saturday at 11 am. On Saturday at 08:44 am we recieved a call that the appointment was canceled today due to food poisoning. I had to take a vacation day to get this quote done . We drove an hour to our other property justvfor the quote. I wasted gas and a vacation day for nothing. They currently are the LA COUNTY FAIR advertising their businesses they shouldn't be doing it because of lack of personnel to keep appointments and wasting peoples time. Very poor customer services. This is a perfect example of why you should always shop around for quotes and other companies. read more

Hi All, overall a pretty good experience. Ralph was my salesman and gave me a fair price with a active duty military discount. Thud contract bid was not the cheapest, but they worked with me a little more on price to get a bit closer toatching my other two bids. The Install went well and I'm pleased with the patio. Alejandro one of the install techs is a fi e young man. He actually stayed 2 hours after the job and helped me meticiouly paint scratched spots and he helpede clean to perfection. Looking back with I would have went with insulated, but for the cost it was a hard decision. Now, I have a unique gutter system and electrical setup and so the techs were not able to complete my gutter reinstall and hookup the electrical. However, I explained this to the company and they are paying the bills for an electrician and a gutter company to do the work. I'd work with them again! LJ Hausner Construction was the best experience I have ever had with any construction on our home. Matt came to our house, and he was professional. When I had my patio done, I asked them to double enforce where the hot water heater went through it. Well now there is a leak, 1 1/2 years later. I called and was told warranty just 1 year and the cost would be $350 for them to come out. This is horrible customer service. I would NOT recommend this company at all. read more

One month after installation we had heavy rains, which identified a leak. I have reached out to Melissa at Hausner three times and no response to repair the leak. We just had our home painted and re stuccoed. We had our patio cover installed at our house and for an unknown reason the installer proceeded to drill multiple holes I'm guessing to find the studs to attach to the house. I asked the installer not to make anymore holes but he continued to make holes on the walls. They used a bunch of caulking to patch the holes but now with rains we're getting in December we have water leaking into the family room. I asked to have someone come out and review the situation and they called to setup a day and time but no one showed up or called. I'm going to have our contractor come out and re stucco our house to repair the unnecessary holes that were made. I'm currently using a tarp on my balcony. This should not have happened. I'm going to send the company the bill and I'm hoping they'll pay it. The patio is great but the installation was horrible. read more

I called LJ Hausner to set up a time for them to go to my mothers house (suffers from dementia ) to give us a quote for a new trellis. When I set up the appointment I let them know of the situation with my mom and asked them to give me a call and email with questions or the quote. It didn't seem to be a problem and we set up the appointment for the following week. I just received a call from John who would have been the guy to come out and give me the quote. I told him the situation again and he said that they cannot go over there to give us a quote unless I was there. Hello, I am writing this review to allow consumers the chance to make an informed decision. My old patio cover was wood and rotting badly, I researched several companies both local (Santa Clarita) with no luck, I then viewed companies that had been in business for many years with good reviews, I read the testimonials and finally choose this company. Matt, the salesmen who came out was awesome and very professional, That's the only thing I can say about my experience positive! Due to the Pandemic, I was told it would take 7-10 weeks to install or cover, I completely understood although not happy about it, Matt informed us 7 weeks was very possible, I called the main office Production department about five weeks later to just have a status update, the person answering the phone informed me that she had no idea when it would be install, there were major delays do to shipping issues, and hung up on me, I called back and was hung up on again, called back and the young lady informed me she was new and someone had called in sick and she didn't have time to talk to me. Matt our salesmen was nice enough to call us back and reassure us we were on schedule, the week of 7/5, i was called to say install was set up for 7/15 9am-10am, I asked if it would be a 1 day or two day install, the Production office informed me they would call me with that answer before 7/15, they failed to do so, they said they would reconfirm the day before that we were still scheduled, the failed to do so, Today, I reached out to there office during business hours 9am-4pm, called 5 times with no answer, left voicemail, no return call, I finally called the 800 # on there Website and they answered!, I was told that we would be able to install wood inside or aluminum sides to or cover and that decision could be made the day of the install, the head installer said no he was never told, he was very upset at hearing this, he then said, give me $75.00 cash and he would do it, I gave him the cash, I then called the office and was told I should have never given him the cash, I should have called the office, I informed Melissa i tried and no one would answer the phone, she informed me she was in the office all morning and I never called!, I had no problem with paying for the wood, i wanted it noted on the Contract so it would not void my warranty if a problem ever arose. Folks, Be careful of this Company, the salesmen Matt was very nice, the Office staff every time called was RUDE and Compensating. I am hoping they install my cover properly and stand behind there warranty, I fear if there is a challenge, the company will ignore the challenge! Today Brian, the Project Manager, Albert and George came to remove our old wood pergola and install an insulated patio cover. George and Albert were here this morning to do the demo and they spent the rest of the day installing the patio cover, along with Brian. All three members of the crew do absolutely amazing, outstanding, quality work and with a very friendly, professional attitude. When they were leaving for the day, my husband looked outside and commented about the job they did cleaning up, "It's almost like they were never here."
