My son wanted to try some of the sweets so the young lady at the register recommended gulab jamun in a small to go container for $10. I've had this before at indian restaurants and they are delicious when fresh! These tasted flavorful and pungent, but very sweet. Give this place a try if you're in the area.

I tried the cheddar(what I initially came for), a dark chocolate drizzle (chocolate is wax free and delish), Thai chili (surprisingly good- had a nice heat to it too), and the regular popcorn (drizzled lightly with olive oil and sea salt). Everything was good. Definitely a healthier alternative to your typical cheddar popcorn that is bright orange. This cheddar popcorn has good flavor as it felt the cheddar was dusted on top of the popcorn. Ambiance is that of a small popcorn shop. Think just popping in (pun intended) to grab a few bags to go. Wow...too many choices of taffy in huge barrels! They also have some nostalgic candy towards the back left side of the store. Munchie's offers candies of all types, but we were drawn to their seemingly endless selection of salt water taffy flavors. We devoured the entire bag of taffy during our trip. I love the cute shopping baskets to select all of the flavors we desire. With the amount of taffy we bought, the price was less than $14! Some of our favorites were the S'mores, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Caramel Mocha, Buttered Popcorn, and Grape. They really know how to make an adult feel like a kid again.

The bite that I ate left me sick most of the day. Later that evening my mom went for a slice of the head cheese and it was old, hard, and dry, well past the expiration date. I will notify Sacramento county vector control, because I suspect a good portion of the meat in the case is past the expiration. Because I live about seven miles from them, I discovered that the day after I ordered they actually drove out and dropped it off. What a great surprise. I had ordered 15 packages since it is discounted at that quantity, and decided to get half Teriyaki and half Cowafornia. I had never tried the Cowafornia, and because I can't handle food with a peppery taste, I now had seven packages that I would not end up eating. I am sure, for people who like their jerky with a little "kick" the Cowafornia is really good. I had already gone through the bags of Teriyaki as it is addicting and I needed more. I emailed Lon at Crazy Cow asking if I could exchange the seven packages of the Cowafornia for Teriyaki. I stated I could mail them back, or would be willing to drive out to their place. I was happy when they emailed me back later that day and offered to drive out to my home and exchange them for the Teriyaki flavor. He said I could leave the box on my porch (I didn't even have to be there) and he would exchange them. Because we have no room in our little freezer to store such a big box of lamb that we're always told, they can't sell separately when we pick some up. The green bananas are sometimes too brown. We're usually looking for nice green bananas. We still shop here because it's the closest place to us to buy Polynesian food. This location is pretty close to my work in a shopping center anchored by a Trader Joe's, so ample parking is available. When I arrived, there were about 6-7 people in line and only two employees, so I knew there would be a bit of a wait. The ordering process is done at the kiosk,so there is very little employee interaction. What Crumbl has changed for this promo versus free cookie promos in the past, is that everyone must sign in with their telephone number and complete the order process on the kiosk to get their free cookie. I'm sure this is done to ensure certain customers don't "store-hop" to get multiple free cookies. After a very short five minute wait in line and ordering on the kiosk-the cookie was done instantly and I was out the door in under 10 minutes for the entire visit. As far as the cookie itself-I've always liked the cookie thins better than their regular cookies. They tend to be a bit easier to eat, lighter mouthfeel and sometimes, like today's experience, they have a melt in your mouth texture-I was pleasantly surprised. Last night we stopped in because the kids wanted to try the Minecraft cookies. When we entered, we weren't greeted or even acknowledged. We had a question, and definitely felt like we were interrupting the employees' conversation in asking it. So much so that my husband sarcastically apologized to them. The cleanliness was, frankly, gross. The floors were noticeably dirty both in the lobby, and in the kitchen area. Honestly looks like it's been weeks since they've even been swept, let alone mopped or properly cleaned. I can overlook the boarded up window, and the monitors inside that weren't working, but the place was, frankly, filthy. I want this business to succeed in this location, but it's really gone downhill.
