The young attendant approached and I said no thank you, I'm sick, I don't want a conversation right now. I was trying to pay for my wash and he kept asking the same question over and over. Then he started with I'm just doing my job, no need to be disrespectful. I had already asked him to back off and step away, and I said that again, and that he was the one being disrespectful when I asked him to step away and he didn't. Then he pointed to the camera and said this is all being recorded so they can see and hear me. I said good, a$$hole, let them listen to you, and drive off. I get to the wash and he's now crying to his boss and his boss says he's going to ban me from the car wash. I repeated again to him, that I was sick, and I was not going to argue with him too. He kept egging me on, and absolutely I used some very colorful language. I'll never go back to this place or ANY SUPERSTAR CAR WASH. They are more persistent than the extended car warranty people. Never again.

The tires are even shining or glistening like I've been used to at other washes. There were parts of my car that still had dust and dirt even after going through the wash as though the water did not touch those areas at all. Ordinarily I find the automated portion of the car wash to be pretty decent. I have a long wheelbase Mercedes sedan and it has always come out, clean with no spots missed other than the detailed portion of the rims, which I usually clean with the towels. On this particular visit, the afternoon of July 16, there were multiple problems with the drying area. The first was only two bottles for window cleaner to cover the two dozen spaces. Very few of the spaces had more than a couple of towels and those were bone dry. The bins of dirty towels were full to overflowing. It was clear that the staff had not serviced the drying bays for quite some time.. I have had better experiences at other locations. Hopefully this is a one time situation at this location since it is closest to my house. Were those of you with Costco memberships I highly recommend buying the annual membership this way as opposed to paying monthly through superstar. with Costco it works out to under $17 per month for the ultimate plan, which means when things are going well, unlike my recent visit, it's a great value.
