It is not overly cluttered as one might expect. They have every color offered by Annie Sloan in stock and painted on something in the store. In fact, they have each color painted on wood with different wax finishes. Right before I was leaving (already kept them 20 minutes past closing), Renee an off the clock employee began to give me some great pointers. She showed (and sold) me a cool product that would help bring the project to life. I almost cannot believe the level of customer service offered by Wonderfaux.

When I call them, all they can say is that the owners know and they are working on this. It's now August and I still have just a broken recliner and haven't heard from them at all. When that other company finally showed up with glass that didn't fit after waiting almost a month, I canceled them and called Century Glass & Interiors. Maybritt was so helpful on the phone and told me that Solex glass was available though the other company claimed it was no longer being made. Joe came out and took measurements the day after the other company showed up with the wrong size glass. He was very precise in taking measurements in all areas of the window. About a week later, the glass arrived and the installation went very smoothly. Joe took the time to add extra caulking and they cleaned up all the broken glass that was still in the frame. They did an absolutely excellent job and I definitely would use this business again. I highly recommend them.

The Kitchen took a little over 4 weeks! The demo crew walked in on November 4th and the cleaning crew walked out on December 4th! Honest! We 1st hired The Showroom for a master bath remodel in 2008. Mark Carter is part owner & designer & Mark did a fantastic job with the lay-out & color scheme. This was a "right down to the wall studs & slab" rebuild. Demoed the old jakuzi, tiny shower, Hollywood lighting, vanity, sliding mirror closet doors & carpet. Came back with 24" tile flooring, a big glass walled shower with rain head & bench, cabinetry with bun feet, maximized the closet user friendliness & updated all lighting. We lived in that house another 10 yrs & never had a complaint about labor or materials. Good job, Mark, we loved that bathroom. We moved to a 1983 vintage house in 2018 & in September 2019 we hired The Showroom to update the kitchen. This also was a "bare stud" project. Mark now does his design work on computer so you see how everything will look & fit. The design & workmanship were good as ever & materials even better. All we knew was we needed more useable space & we had a color scheme in mind so we told Mark & got out of his way. The results are as good or better than for the old bathroom. The drawers glide as if on air & close themselves with a gentle shove & likewise, the cabinet doors never slam. We have so much more useable space we still haven't filled all the drawers or cabinets. We definitely recommend The Kitchen & Bath Showroom & would (probably will) use them again.

The staff - Darrin and Topher, specifically - at the Lumber Liquidators Stafford, Texas location was absolutely amazing. I have never had a better experience with a contractor than I did with Lumber Liquidators. After my wood floors were damaged by a cleaning company two days before my house was scheduled to go on the market, we went to Lumber Liquidators to see how fast we could have new wood floors installed. Darrin understood the urgency and helped me quickly select the right floor for our needs. He scheduled the measure for the following day and followed up to ensure it went as planned. When issues with the installation method used for the original floors came up, Darrin and Topher worked with us quickly and helpfully to reach the best resolution of the problem, even providing a discount for this unexpected expenses. The installer, after inspecting the floors, offered an innovative installation method that ultimately resulted in us receiving a REFUND of the amount we paid because they were able to reduce the amount of materials needed by almost half. Overall, the process was seamless, the customer service was amazing, and the floors look absolutely beautiful. I could not be more pleased with Lumber Liquidators in Stafford, Texas and recommend them to everyone! read more

He never sealed it and the scratches were so visible. I wrote to him many times. He wanted to come and charge me more to do a different process (sand down). I asked him to at least to partially give a refund so I can get someone else to come and reseal. He never responded. I ended up resealing it myself but there were areas that he had put some chemicals on and the seal interacted with and looked cloudy. I texted him and he said he will come today. He wrote to me yesterday and wanted to charge me $400. I asked him if we could talk on the phone. Never responded. Never showed up today. DO NOT HIRE HIM. Not much honesty there.

So we contacted him again and found out he was out of town but he said he would have our estimate to us the Tuesday after the 4th of July. That Tuesday came and went with no word. So we contacted him again the following week. Crickets. Finally we made one last try and still no response. I understand that things happen (personal life stuff, business gets too busy, etc.) but I don't think it's too much to ask of a business to contact you and let you know that something's come up, and discuss options (letting you know they can't accommodate your request for services at that time, and seeing if you're willing to wait or whatnot.) But silence is not an acceptable business practice - we delayed our flooring because we wanted to work with someone our contractor highly recommended, so the non-responsiveness has set our project back. We finally went to another local flooring company and they came out to measure and provided a written estimate within a week. We just signed the contract with them and are looking forward to our new floors in the next week. Oh, and we let our contractor who referred us to this place about the communication issue. I'm not sure that he will be referring others now, since it reflects badly on him when a recommendation he makes doesn't pan out. Ours isn't a large job, but it's about 6K. Moral of the story: poor communication costs businesses money and reputation with referral sources.

Turns out it was a great suggestion that enabled us to save money on floors and spend that planned money on new appliances in our new, 20-yr old house. We had our vinyl floors installed in 2018. Originally we were going to go with an engineered hardwood or laminate but due to dogs and potential water issues, Mike suggested we use a multilayered vinyl. It was a great suggestion. Although installation took a little longer than expected, we're in love with our floors and the price. We came back three years later in 2021 and had the rest of our carpet replaced with new carpet. The latest installers were VERY quick and did a great job. Again, price was exceptional.

I want to write a fair review, so I'll include all the pros and cons from our experience with floor…read moregallery. When we first came into the store, I loved the floor collections there. They have a lot to offer if you are as picky as me. Mike was great and helpful at assisting us with floor collections and brought 4 different samples to our house the next day for measurements. However, we didn't know that nightmare began after we signed the contract. We decided to go with vinyls for all upstairs floor. Mike told us that his team will start on the next Monday, latest the Tuesday. However, he NEVER called on Monday to update me on his team's schedule. So I had to call him and heard him saying " I was just about to call you". The team didn't show up on Monday, they came Tuesday morning around 8am. Things went well the first day, demo was fast. The second day, the team came around same time, but they slowed down a lot, and left the house an hour earlier compared to Tuesday. Same thing with the third day, they left one hour earlier and say they will come back to finish the rest on Friday. After they left and finished on Friday, floor looked nice at first. But then we started to find many detail problems. Up until this point, we NEVER hear anything from Mike to ask if we were satisfied with the work. Our floor was not level, and we could feel the bumps and floor was moving and making sounds. So we contacted Mike and had him and his worker to come in and talk about the problems. On the day, we had to reschedule, so I called Mike to reschedule. He said he will ask his guy first and call me back shorty. 3 HOURs later, I still DIDN'T hear anything from him, and our new appointment is in 30 mins. So I texted him with attitude of course ( it's been more than one time he supposed to update me, but he didn't!) Then Mike and the worker came to check the floor. And they told me " cuz our floor is CHEAP, so that's why it's not level!" And Mike was blaming on his worker in front of me saying that the worker didn't update him or me and decided on his own of what to do with our floor. We gave them permission to float our floor when necessary at the beginning and they decided not to use it and came back to tell me our floor is cheap! The team came back to fix the floor the following week. They just decided to float EVERYWHERE this time. I don't even know if that's necessary. They used a total of 15 bags of float. It took the team another 4 days to finish the floor and came back extra 2 times to fix the minor details and the side. We had not hear from Mike at all since he came and told me our house floor is cheap. And all he ever contacted us was to have his check! The quality of the floor is great, the work was not to our satisfaction, but the encountering experience with Mike was bad! And supposed to be 3 days of work( according to Mike), it took them 8 days to finish. I'm not going to say everyone have the experience like us, but just make sure if you decide to work with Mike, call him first and ask what is going on first, so you can plan your time as you needed. And make sure check on all the detail works.

They worked quick while we were away and even worked very fast after Hurricane Harvey hit. When we came back home, there were splashes all over the walls, grout lines were wider and skinnier in different parts of the house, tiles were not all cut even, and parts of the floor were unlevel. I called Pete and sent him pictures and he said he would come out to take a closer look and do some touch ups. Also, we found out that usually tile is laid under the baseboards and quarter rounds to make a cleaner look. This was not discussed before the floors were pulled up and as you can see from the pictures, it is not pretty. Pete called and then texted that he was going to come out and I am not sure if he ever did because there was no follow up. There was just zero confidence that we were being taken care of. Someone then recommended US Carpet and Floors to us. We went to their outlet and were immediately put at ease by Talha and Yusuf. They took the time to understand our need and our budget and gave us some pretty good options at a significant discount to the better known names. We felt comfortable enough to place the order.
