This was a wonderful surprise. I did the Yelp dartboard approach, hit the Loaded Cafe, and off we went. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was quite tasty. I don't know what you like to eat (that would be a particularly useless form of ESP). But if it is pancakes, or omlettes, or burgers, or... pretty much anything, this is a good restaurant for you. The only complaint I'd have is that it's not enough fruit but that my personal preference :o They have a combo which is 11.99 and comes with eggs, hash, browns and you can choose either sausage/bacon. Aww man forget going all the way to Carson for some iHop. The menu/food is almost identical. I spoke with the guy in charge, idk if he was a manager or owner but he says the owner also owns several iHop restaurants in the O.C. Notice I said almost identical because, they also offer great Latin American dishes as well. Said dishes like, Machaca, Carne Asada, tacos, breakfast burritos and much more. They even have an exclusive line of salsas/ hot sauce. My Belizean side had me have the hottest of 3 habanero sauces, EXCELLENCE! I had the Big Steak omelette with 2 strawberry cheesecake pancakes. WONDERFUL PLACE! I have been here 2 times, and both times we ordered the same thing. LOL i had the biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast and my boyfriend had the pot roast sandwich. Both were THE BOOOMB.COM! The biscuits are so darn tasty and soft. The sausage gravy is very good i got to admit some places lack when it comes to the gravy but here its perfect. I love how wonderfully cooked my eggs were. Nothing was greasy or over cooked. Perfect breakfast. The pot roast sandwich is perfection. SERIOUSLY!! the meat is succulent and moist seasoned just right. It almost melts in your mouth. Honestly I would give Loaded Cafe 2.5 stars if possible based on my entire experience. I ordered takeout through Yelp and got the Meat Lovers Breakfast. In the description the dish has two made to order crepes. However, when I picked up the crepes were not included. The waiter said next time I should specify in the special instructions that I wanted crepes with my order. She did offer to make the crepes, but I declined since I did not want to wait. She was very nice about it though. The Meat Lovers is not extraordinary considering I paid roughly $15. The same goes for the Strawberry Cheesecake Waffles. It was a pretty basic waffle with strawberries on top along with a few sprinkles of cheesecake bites. I would have gotten more bang for my buds and buck at The Pan. Also got the strawberry lemonade, it was pretty good. Maybe if I were to dine in I would have had a different experience. I will leave it at that for now. read more

Found this place on the way to LAX and we were very glad we did! We got there a few minutes before they opened and the manager saw us standing outside and let us in early. This is a "just opened" place and we came in right at opening so the kitchen was a little slow on getting the food out. But the wait was worth it. We had the (very large) appetizer quesadilla, the chicken soup and chocolate chip pancakes, eggs and bacon. All was very good. They also have some great habanero salsas that you can purchase to go too. Recommended! The service was great and very friendly. Absolutely recommend! read more

We waited approximately 10-15 to be seated. I ordered the chorizo and eggs, which was pretty good. The dulce de leche crepe is to die for! Must try! I love the sauce that came with it but I wish they had a lot of it! My hubby got the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, which also came with potatoes. OMG! So yummy. They cook their potatoes with onions and bell peppers. It adds so much more flavor to it. Their green juice is delicious and tastes fresh. We also bought their habanero ketchup for home. We loved the flavor / spiciness of it! We will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu. They had so many choices! I wish I could eat everything in one sitting! Lol. Both were good, but not amazing. It was good for what it was, which is diner food. The chicken had great flavoring, but it tasted a bit overcooked and dry. The steak had a similar taste since the bits of meat were a bit charred. The tostada that the salad was placed in was a bit too oily. Other than these small remarks, the food wad quite good and a good portion size. I'm not the biggest fan of diner food, but the food was good, but not great. I would recommend my friends to come here and check the place out. This was my first time here and I've bookmarked this place months ago and decided to give them a try today. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Its very busy inside so if you want to dine in make sure you have some time bc there is a small wait. I ordered the multi grain honey blueberry pancakes and a build your own veggie omelette. These pancakes are thick & fluffy and deliciously filling. The omelette was amazing as well, I built my own but they have different omelette combos to choose from. There's a lot to choose from on their menu so the possibilities are endless. It sits inside of a mini shopping center and easy to pass up if your not paying attention. Completely and utterly disappointed in this place. Mainly due to the poor service. Came here on Sunday morning at 10:40am and was told a 30 min wait for a party of 3. There were only 2 groups of 3 ahead of my party. It got pretty busy while we were waiting, about 5 other parties arrived (groups of 2-4). And for some reason, all 5 of those parties got seated before us. My boyfriend went up to the hostess to complain, her response was "oh we're waiting for a table that accommodates your party size". BUT all those parties got seated at a table that seats 4. So...that response made no sense at all. Anyways, when we FINALLY got seated 50 min later, I asked to speak with the manager. The host said she would bring her right out. But of course, the manager never showed up. Onto the meal-- food was pretty decent. Except for the part where they completely forgot to bring my boyfriend his meal. He ended up just canceling the order since it never came.
