My hubby had Pot a roast melt, it was delicious but had very little meat inside and he had only a splattering of the heavenly fries to accompany the melt, he was thrilled with the food and saddened by the lack of meat and small portions. Depending on the time of day you come you could either be backed up and wait to sit up to 30 minutes or walk right in to sit down and eat. I've been lucky enough for all the times I've come to walk in and sit down. I highly recommend going with a group of four or less to walk in and sit and eat. There's nothing spectacular about the menu it's just the way the food taste is like a high-quality restaurant but within the confines of a mom and pop shop. While the service is not the Ritz Carlton these people genuinely want to make sure you enjoy your food and your dining experience here and that's in tangible. Wow! Never again! Walk in with my family at 11:30 am, seated at 11:45 am. Not too bad. However, it took over an hour to receive our order for a family of 6. My mother and cousin had to leave at a certain time so when the food was ready (again, after an hour), we asked them to pack up the food in boxes so we can take it on the road. There were four waitresses on staff, our waitress didn't check on us very much. Most of the staff were just at the counter talking to one another. Though they warned us the food was delayed, nothing was discounted for us. Also when we got home, we realized something was missing in our order. Since we were in such a rush to leave because of our prior engagements, we didn't check the boxes, yet we paid for the missing food. If the restaurant is fully staffed with cooks, I may want to come again. But not any time soon as it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. My husband and I go here about one time a month. The breakfast is great but there service needs much improvement. The waiters are very friendly but management and the kitchen are lacking on the flow needed to deal with customers and getting the food out on time. Also they seem to get deliveries through the front door on Saturday morning, and im sure it is there most busy time...it's a very small establishment so customers are asked to move to the side while the delivery man comes in with boxes of supplies...not professional at all. I came here because I got three wisdom teeth pulled and I was only able to eat soft food and cold drinks and this place seemed to have pretty good looking scambled eggs so we came here on a Saturday morning. Our expected wait time was about 30 minutes but we got sat in 15 minutes so don't let the wait time scare you away! There was a free coffee check in special and because I was not able to drink hot fluids because of my open wounds I asked if I could get a iced coffee to the server. Our server checked and verified that the iced coffee is fine and we got changed to a different table so they can accommodate more people. Then our new server said we couldnt get the iced coffee and he verified with management that they cannot offer the iced coffee with Yelp check in. So there is slight miscommunication with the workers here but our server was still very nice and made sure to keep checking up on us. This diner is pretty small and the service we got was good! This place is pretty busy in the morning so you should expect a wait. I got the chicken fajita scrambled eggs which was huuuuuge that included a side of buttermilk pancakes that were so fluffy and tasty. read more

My boyfriend and I honestly came here because of the reviews, but we weren't impressed unfortunately. Service- was good, staff was super friendly I gotta give them that. We were told we had to wait about 25-30min for our take out, they did seem busy so it was understandable. Food- I ordered the crunchy chicken enchilada plate and my bf ordered a crepe (forgot which one). I tasted the crepe it was ok. The crunchy chicken enchilada plate in all honesty was not worth the $14.99. It seemed like chicken red (not hot) chilaquiles and I've had waay better chilaquiles for less. First time me and my family came to this restaurant. Happy we found this place for Father's Day as many other places required reservations for today and were booked up. We came for breakfast and it was great! I had the chicken and waffles with one scrambled egg. The waffles were thick but light tasting and the fried chicken tenders were seasoned well and tasted great! My husband had the chorizo, eggs and refried beans. He said everything tasted very good. One daughter had nopales with refried beans and scrambled eggs. She said it was very good. I took a taste of hers and agree it tasted yummy!. My other daughter had the churro crepes which she enjoyed a lot. Our waitress was very attentive to all of our needs checking in on us regularly. Overall this was great service at the Loaded Cafe.
