First time me and my family came to this restaurant. Happy we found this place for Father's Day as many other places required reservations for today and were booked up. We came for breakfast and it was great! I had the chicken and waffles with one scrambled egg. The waffles were thick but light tasting and the fried chicken tenders were seasoned well and tasted great! My husband had the chorizo, eggs and refried beans. He said everything tasted very good. One daughter had nopales with refried beans and scrambled eggs. She said it was very good. I took a taste of hers and agree it tasted yummy!. My other daughter had the churro crepes which she enjoyed a lot. Our waitress was very attentive to all of our needs checking in on us regularly. Overall this was great service at the Loaded Cafe. While the food is great I'm not sure it's worth the expensive price however the employees their can't control that. What they CAN control is their attitude and rudeness that I get. This was the 2nd time. I live nearby and will be back but they need to get better cashiers/waiters/waitresses. read more

I got the machaca burrito which was so yummy and my boyfriend got the chicken fried steak special that comes mixed together with hash browns and gravy. Let's seee even though the food was actually not good at all this place received 3 stars because my server was really sweet and accommodating for our meal. I'll start off with what's good. The water with lemon lol ok joking.. They literally have the best hot coco I've had in a while. The hot coco comes in 3 different flavors vanilla chocolate and Carmel. I ordered chocolate and my boyfriend ordered Carmel both were really good. Carmel is a little sweeter for me. Next I ordered a veggie omelette and pancakes. I like my pancakes well done (like really brown) and they came out just the way I like them. Pancakes were really good. However the omelette was something I've never had before. The eggs did not taste like real or imitation eggs I've had before. The texture was something similar to rubber. Not even hot sauce could save those eggs. I could not even begin to pretend that I liked them. The plate was sent back and unfortunately there was nothing else I wanted on the mental so they refunded me my money without a problem. Though my first experience was not that great I'm still interested in trying their potato tacos. Hopefully they can't go to wrong with those. I was out in Hawthorne this morning and found this little gem. The coffee was one of the best cups of joe I've had in a long time. The service was a little slow, but not bad. Our server, Maria, was great. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed because they had some staff had not come in to work. The food was great too. I got the asada breakfast plate. Super good. Let me start off by saying that I am not a huge fan of breakfast. Often times I prefer to make my own breakfast I stead of going out. There a only a couple of breakfast spots that will go out of my way for. This morning I found one of those spots. The Loaded Cafe has some delicious breakfast. Ordered the Little Piggy and my wife had the Crepe combo. Everything we ordered was delicious. The bacon was crispy, the pancakes were fluffy and the crepes were as good as anywhere else. All that said, the star of the show was definetely the homemade salsa at our tables. There were spicy and very flavorful. The waitress overheard us talking about how good it was and she was nice enough to give us a free bottle of salsa to take home. The only reason why this place doesn't get 5 stars is because we did have to wait a while to get our food. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place. read more

A friend and I stumbled upon this place when looking for a burger joint down the street that was closed. I had seen the sign when we drove by the first time and out of desperation we stopped in. It was lunch time and the place was crowded. We realized they specialized in breakfast, and they were out of burger buns. My friend had just pancakes, and enjoyed them. I had the loaded tato and eggs. It was great. Hashbrowns, county gravy, sausage. Excellent. It comes with 2 pancakes. The coffee was just okay, but passable. Try this place for breakfast. My bf and I decided to try this place because one of our other breakfast spots had a ridiculous wait time. We have been to the Gardena and lawndale location and I must say I have been disappointed with the service at both locations . The food is good but nothing incredibly amazing . The pictures they post on social media are not up to par with the results you get. I keep returning, hoping there will be a different outcome but I just can't justify the service . My most recent encounter ( at the lawndale location ) involved the waitress forgetting to order my appetizer, I let it go, I figured it will be removed from the tab....I was very wrong , the waitress told me she needed her supervisor to remove it. The supervisor then comes and apologizes and tries to accommodate us by bringing us the missing food ( even though we were done eating and told them I didn't want it anymore ) . I appreciated him coming to me and apologizing so when he brought the food , we ate it as it was a small, very small (mediocre tasting) guacamole and chips ( literally less than 20 chips). The waitress returns and apologizes once more and is looking at the tab, even though they never deducted the appetizer . I mentioned it to her and she had the audacity to tell me that the manager usually doesn't go out of his way to fix things the way he did with me and that she couldn't change the tab. I wasn't upset but confused, they refused to subtract the item even though they forgot and brought it out after we finished eating and we're forced to pay because I no longer wanted to deal with them and it was only $5 ish dollars. This was a place that my sister chose for us to eat. It was a first for us both, and the reviews on here convinced us that it must be good! The service was great! After we sat down, we were tended to immediately. While browsing through the menu, I noticed how cost efficient the prices were(a plus). A majority of the tables were filled and the staff was very friendly. The food arrived warm, fresh and very fast! I wanted to substitute a menu option, instead the waitress took the time to point me to an option already on the menu that fit my request. Very good sales right there, she understood the needs of her customer. Usually when I order my standard breakfast (eggs, hash browns and bacon) something is wrong. The breakfast I received was perfect. The bacon was perfectly cooked and the hash browns also were. Finally, the quantity compared to quality and price was phenomenal! This location is somewhat in an isolated area and questioned if it would be good. There are plenty of private parking spaces. As we walked in our name was taken down and we were given an estimated time. They offer seating inside to wait or I saw a couple people stand outside, we decided to wait in the car. The wait can be a bit long, so I wouldn't suggest going when you're starving. As we were seated, I began to look over there menu and they have plenty of options to choose from. Also from the looks of the menu, it seems like this is more of a breakfast kind of spot. We ordered and shortly after we got our food. I ordered waffle combo, mind you I'm not much of a waffle person. Waffles generally are over filling because it's an overload of carbs and don't like the feeling after, you know food coma. Surprisingly the waffles were maybe one of the best I've had, crispy and thin! Also the sides (strawberry, blueberry, Nutella) complimented where you only had to drizzle syrup very lightly.
