We have been coming here for years when visiting the area. The food is always consistent, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the vibe is casual and relaxed. You can order take out or dine in. There is seating inside and some bench outside, as well as a walk up window for food and coffee orders. We love coming here before skiing when we decide to sleep in, so we typically d We lot their coffee, espresso and tea options. Skip the local Starbucks and come here for a much better coffee experience. We have order both breakfast and lunch options. We have never been disappointed. Today we order the avocado toast and a GF sausage egg and cheese. For my gluten free friends: the staff is very helpful with allergies and they have GF bread to substitute.

The dinner service has been fantastic. Stopped by the last few weeks and couldn't be more excited about this new place in town that offers a great value and large portions. And super cool I can come out late night for dinner too. I had the ceviche and also a few other items that were absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere to relax and awesome view of the beaver creek resort.

We stopped in on our vacation after a hike to have lunch at this breakfast/lunch/coffee shop and bar. There is seating inside and outside with large garage doors that open to cool down the inside since there is likely no air conditioning (which is typical in this area). It had a very nice breeze and we sat inside. It took a few minutes of the staff looking at us to actually say hello and seat us. Our waitress was good and I was pleased that they had gluten free bread that they could replace on the patty melt. The good was very good for both meals. They have live music at certain times as well. We didn't try any beverages to know how their coffee is. There was a bird that flew inside and jumped all over a few tables before he dropped down to the floor to look for crumbs. So just be aware of that for hygiene issues with utensils touching the tables.

Love me some Loaded Joe's! They are open early morning until evening and serve delish coffees, food items, and have a full bar for happy hour! We have dined in for breakfast multiple times this week and have enjoyed everything! I LOVE that they have Gluten Free bread that they can substitute on any of their food items! And it's my favorite gf bread, Canyon Bakehouse! We have also enjoyed their outdoor dining area with a gorgeous view of the mountains! Loaded Joe's is a great stop anytime of day!

Loaded Joe's was the perfect quick breakfast. You can stop in or sit and be waited on. We sat down and were greeted right away. The service was excellent. We opted for the bacon breakfast sandwich, pork burrito & an iced latte. Everything was made quickly and fresh. The food had a lot of flavor and the burrito was HUGE. The latte was perfect as well. Loaded Joe's is open as late as 2am, they have Friday karaoke and cocktails. Don't miss out on this place while in Avon!

Great coffee shop in Avon to grab coffee, tea and other beverages and food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Came to start our day before heading to Vail (I guess they have a location there but this was easy to park at and on our way). The coffee is self-serve (unless you order a drink like a latte, cappuccino, etc.) and it is strong. How brewtiful! I got a veggie breakfast burrito to go. It was so darn delicious. While I normally go for the meat the veggies (many) with the cheese and chipotle ketchup was a step above your normal burrito. It is very filling so the cost of $12.25 is worth it as it kept me full through lunch. The staff was friendly and I really liked the open kitchen where you can see everything being made. The restaurant has a lot of tables to sit at and garage doors to open up the space for nice days as there are several tables on their patio. Would definitely come to Loaded Joes again.

I tried to order the lamb burger and they said they were out of lamb and the customer service was awful and unfriendly. I ended up ordering the spicy chicken sandwich and was not impressed plus it didn't even come with all the toppings it said it would. I had a problem with everything I ordered here and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Perfect coffee shop atmosphere and love that it doubles as a popular bar at night! My fiancé got the snickers coffee and loved it- steamed milk with coffee art on top! I had snickers minus the dark chocolate and with nf milk- still great! Service was very good too! read more

Awful. The oatmeal is instant packaged, the potatoes are frozen. It's a bad Denny's. This is cheap, prepackaged, processed food. Avon and Edwards have so many great breakfast places. Don't waste your time here. read more

We were referred here by a local who flat out said "good food, terrible service". He was mostly right. My burrito was good as were our lattes, unfortunately my husband received wilted 1/2 size pieces of bacon and untoasted toast. When he asked about getting his bacon crispy it came back looking the same. Clearly the kitchen could care less about making customers happy. Also, they were not full but there was a 30 min. delay on food. Get it together. read more

My husband and I came here one afternoon on our honeymoon. We ordered a Tropicana smoothie and a chunky monkey smoothie. The man who took our order at the counter was unfriendly, tossing the pen on the counter to sign and when he brought out the smoothies, the chunky monkey was only about 4/5 of the way filled. Taste was underwhelming for both, but unsurprising as we had watched him make them and just poured in orange juice for "orange" (no real orange detected), and chocolate syrup for "dark chocolate." Yes, this is a coffee shop and maybe I shouldn't expect amazing smoothies, but this is still quite disappointing considering how much each smoothie cost. 2 stars for customer service and smoothie quality. read more

Too bad the coffee is great and the service sucks. A handful of the employees are incredibly rude and act annoyed with anything that you ask. I'm a local and often take out of town guest here to grab a cup of coffee & a bite to eat. Each time I take someone here I walk out embarrassed at how rude the staff was, and I always wonder why I keep going back... I guess it's the coffee! read more

The coffee and espresso are awesome. This is the place to go if you want good coffee! I love the Spanish coffee, Almond Milk Lattes and Americanos. Service was great, drinks were available quite fast. While on vacation I dropped by here every morning to kick start my day with a coffee drink. Look forward to visiting again next time I'm in the area! read more

We were passing thru town and needed our coffee fix. We always prefer to go to the independent shop and support locally. That was a mistake this time. The cashier was pleasant but the barista was a different story. When our order came in I confirmed that mine had almond milk (allergic to dairy) and his response was I am not dyslexic so I think we are ok. I let him know I always ask just in case so I don't get sick. On top of all that both coffee's were terrible. Neither of them tasted like they had any flavor just burnt milk and we had to throw them away. We stopped in the next town where customer service and quality were both on the top that coffee shops list. read more

We both had the meat scramble minus toast and potatoes and a side of avocado. Very relaxed atmosphere. The time from ordering to receiving the food was good. We went here cause it was a close walk from our hotel and hotel coffee is usually pretty horrible. The moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly faces and polite baristas. I wish we could have stayed longer and eat so I can't comment unfortunately on the food but the coffee was excellent and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Will definitely remember this place when I come back they this area. read more

I'll can say is avoid this place at all costs. Never left a review before on Yelp, but felt compelled to do so after my experience here to save other people from experiencing this place. After waiting over 45 minutes for our order, our waitress came by and said our food would be out shortly. After another 10 minutes came back and said she forgot to put the order in. Are you kidding me? To lie and says it's coming out and then admitting her lie. To add, this place was not even busy or full of patrons at our time of dining. This place is a JOKE. If I was the owner I would seriously take note and remedy the situation as you will not be in business long with this type of service. read more

We went to Loaded Joe's for breakfast and were so glad we did. I had the bagel with lox, cream cheese and capers, and it was absolutely delicious. We sat right down and the service was really prompt and friendly. There was an area for live performances and several bar games, like pool, and it looked like a fun place to go in the evening. I found everyone there to be super friendly and helpful, and the next time I am in Avon, I will definitely go back. read more

Really amazing burger and cheese steak. Super friendly staff. Ordered the sweet potato fries with my burger but got regular fries (I don't think I was loud enough when I asked) and our waitress brought me a plate right away. The regular French fries were thin and delicious! Didn't order any drinks but have had their smoothies and quality coffee before. Terrible service, but good food. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress who mumbled when she talked to take our order, then another 30 minutes for our food to come out. Next time I would recommend ordering at the counter, and taking the food to sit down if you plan on staying to eat. The waiting staff is extremely slow, and not personable or enthusiastic whatsoever about their job. I live in Avon and will be hesitant to go back because of the service. read more

I guess I wasn't "cool" enought for the counter people to acknoledge me when I walked in by myself. No one in line, and girl at the counter was writing things down and wouldnt look up at me to ask me what i wanted to order. Joe's has a great coffee shop and lunch diner vibe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The coffee is always fresh and the bartenders have a perfect pour on shots and mixed drinks. As well as having a nice indoor atmosphere Joe's has one of the best decks in the valley to enjoy a beer or cocktail after a day in the sun. read more

Established in 2005.

Loaded Joe's - Avon is our first and original location. We are continually trying to evolve to reflect the unique market needs of our community. Originally a coffeehouse and bar concept, we've expanded and grown over the years. Our most recent change in Avon was the addition of our full (yet quaint) commercial kitchen in 2012. We are now a full restaurant, however, we are still the same great community hub and de facto meeting place.

I'm sure a lot of employees come for breakfast. I grabbed a ice chai tea for around $6. I thought it was a good deal, but I seldom drink coffee or tea. It was tasty and kept me energized through the long biking and drinking beer day at Oktoberfest. I'll surely be heading here again and trying some other treats!

They have a variety of items available including gelato, chocolate, sandwiches, crepes, bagels, coffees, and spiked coffees (adult beverages). Our first night we stopped in for gelato, then I tried their sweet crepe and coffee the following day. Both times, service was nice and friendly and we got our orders quickly. The gelato was pretty standard, but good. It almost looks too cheesy though with how it's displayed in the case. haha. The nutella crepe was good and hit spot. Rimini was one of the more affordable options in the village and a good stop for coffee and treats. We liked coming here and sitting out on the patio to enjoy our gelato and drinks. I didn't get a chance to try the spiked coffees, but those sounded so good too and would've been perfect in the evening.

My boyfriends caramel ribbon crunch was made completely wrong, way too watery, and didn't have any of the bottom stuff that's in the receipe, along with was fully coffee nothing else. My venti drink was not even close to full, nor did i ask for light ice so it should not have been this little REGARDLESS. my cheese danish has charcoal from their oven on it bc they don't clean it. this was extremely dissatisfying. Your trash's are completely full, do you guys do opening tasks? i worked alone on my shifts in a starbucks and never once had issues taking out the trash or cleaning the oven. this was disgusting and disappointing. will not be returning. There were 4 employees, drinks should be out in under 2 minutes along with food. same rules apply as they did to my starbucks correct? I worked alone, you have 4 employees there, i never once had a line. somethings off.

At some point during our virgin Colorado trip, we stopped into Beaver Liqours and I walked out of the door with a roguish smile and a poster that hung on my bedroom wall until my senior year in high school and then travelled with me to Utah and graced my dorm room wall until my sophomore year in college. It was lost during one of my many moves. Fast forward four decades, I stopped in Avon a few days ago specifically to pick up a t-shirt for my girl and walked out with a smaller reprint of the same poster. I call that a win. Same smile too. High prices!? Huh? It's frickin' Beaver Creek! I am happy that Beaver Liqours is still in business and remains family-owned and I appreciate that they haven't shied away from their sense of humor after all of these years. Seriously, if you can't work out from the name of the place their personality ... You're probably not the brightest bulb.

They used to have a different name (I believe it was…read morea Columbine cafe) so I was afraid that they don't exist anymore as it has been a while since my last visit but I was happy to find that they actually combined and expanded to a store next door (the store is still there as well with some cool and unique local produce). The food is delicious as it has this nice European fee and you can take some goodies with you. Highly recommend for breakfast/lunch once you are in the area.

So i live in Avon and come to Loaded Joe's more often than any other bar in town. The space is pretty good if its not jam packed full of tourists. I usually come for a beer at night after work and leave so i don't have issues with law enforcement. Today however I chose to come in for breakfast and instead ordered a bloody mary from the bar. The bar tenders don't kiss your ass, which is nice actually; i dont really want your fake greetings to begin with. ANYWAY, duckin' order a nine or ten dollar bloody mary and have some sips. not impressed. go back with my weak ass drink and order a shot of well vodka to try and get the taste of booze in my shit drink. five more dollars. So awesome now I'm sitting here with my thumb up my ass typing this and an okay fifteen dollar bloody mary. Its seems like the unperceptive guy at the bar didn't put two and two together to figure this out; thanks for not trying. Ducking sweet. Since I work for a big outfit in town where my opinion is asked frequently (as in i sit behind a desk at a hotel and tell people what to do and where to do it) on where to go and what to do, I'm no longer including Loaded Joe's on the list, shit I'm not going to mention anything in Avon at all; sending them to Vail. read more

I like the "green initiave", but after buying a few smoothies for my kids and an iced drink for myself I learned straws are no longer supplied. How the F are we supposed to consume those over priced drinks without a damn straw? The hole on the take out lid is in the middle....I'm now steam cleaning my car since all 3 kids spilled banana berry all over my Audi, and I'm still sipping from a swizzle stick. #fail #stupid #cheapbastards read more

If you want coffee - this is the only place to go! Do not even think about starbucks! Ask for Sarah or Mason if you want the most amazing cappuccino and then if you come back at night, you have to try the Loaded Joe Martini Van gough double expresso vodka, REAL Godiva dark liquor, real expresso straight from the italian manual expresso machine with real heavy cream produced whipped cream. Friendly staff is generally the best thing going for Loaded Joe's. There coffee isn't great - but they do try (at least it's not terrible like a lot of other places around town). Again, with their food they seem to want to provide local and "healthy" food, but I'm not sure it really is as high quality as they would like it to be. Again, the friendly staff make it worth going to. read more

When I am in Avon for work I like to spend my money on the local places, instead of the giant corporate places. So far I have given this place 3 tries, and every time I get a coffee or latte it tastes burnt. The baristas seem nice enough, but their coffee, I just cant drink it, so i throw half of it away. read more

By far the best coffee in the valley. A very cool community vibe. The Philly burrito "chimichanga" style is insanely delicious. This place can get very busy and has a very small kitchen, so sometimes you have to be patient, but if you have the time when they're busy it is worth it! read more
