We have been coming here for years when we are in Avon. Great when you are looking for a casual lowkey atmosphere but still want a healthy delicious meal. The food is so good and they manage to keep things affordable too. Recently we stopped in for dinner our food was excellent! Four of us all enjoyed our meals; crab cake appetizer; short ribs & coq au vin, both served with yummy mashed potatoes and broccolini; and the trout served with a truly fantastic kale salad. The short ribs fell off the bone and were exceptional. Everything was cozy and flavorful. The staff here are so great - always friendly and personable. We stopped in on our vacation after a hike to have lunch at this breakfast/lunch/coffee shop and bar. There is seating inside and outside with large garage doors that open to cool down the inside since there is likely no air conditioning (which is typical in this area). It had a very nice breeze and we sat inside. It took a few minutes of the staff looking at us to actually say hello and seat us. Our waitress was good and I was pleased that they had gluten free bread that they could replace on the patty melt. The good was very good for both meals. They have live music at certain times as well. We didn't try any beverages to know how their coffee is. There was a bird that flew inside and jumped all over a few tables before he dropped down to the floor to look for crumbs. So just be aware of that for hygiene issues with utensils touching the tables. read more

Love me some Loaded Joe's! They are open early morning until evening and serve delish coffees, food items, and have a full bar for happy hour! We have dined in for breakfast multiple times this week and have enjoyed everything! I LOVE that they have Gluten Free bread that they can substitute on any of their food items! Great coffee shop in Avon to grab coffee, tea and other beverages and food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Came to start our day before heading to Vail (I guess they have a location there but this was easy to park at and on our way). The coffee is self-serve (unless you order a drink like a latte, cappuccino, etc.) and it is strong. How brewtiful! I got a veggie breakfast burrito to go. It was so darn delicious. While I normally go for the meat the veggies (many) with the cheese and chipotle ketchup was a step above your normal burrito. It is very filling so the cost of $12.25 is worth it as it kept me full through lunch. The staff was friendly and I really liked the open kitchen where you can see everything being made. The restaurant has a lot of tables to sit at and garage doors to open up the space for nice days as there are several tables on their patio. Would definitely come to Loaded Joes again. read more

One of the best spots in Colorado in my humble opinion. The food is phenomenal. Amazing French toast and pancakes. The avocado toast is great too. There's a reason Loaded Joe's is always loaded... Hate to leave this review - but I highly recommend that management do some auditing. We have been coming here almost daily, as my wife and I are spending a long winter period here (you can also see from my prior review that I've been a long time patron). Over our last 3 visits, our orders have come out completely wrong - wrong ingredients, things forgotten etc. With each occurrence, I've simply decided to let it go and be patient. Today, an innumerable amount of things were wrong. For me, the largest one was that the burgers we ordered (with gluten free toast) had bread that was not toasted. It's a small detail - but the meal tastes far better when the bread is toasted. We pointed this out to the waitress helping - as she strategized on how to resolve the issue, she also argued back with us and claimed that the bread was toasted. With the frequency with which we visit, and the amount we tip (always generously) I really didn't want to hear an argument about my being wrong. The toast was flimsy and not toasted. On this note, my wife decided to leave and I stood by her. Multiple orders had been wrong at this point. On the way out, my wife heard the waitress call her a "fucking bitch." My wife confronted her and told her not to call her that. At that point, the cook approached, berated us - and told us that we come in daily, and that we are a "pain in the ass" and we should simply order off the menu (ignoring that my wife is celiac). It then became clear why our orders have been wrong the last 3 visits. We were being targeted. The orders were purposely messed up because we were not welcome. I'm very nice person. I leave great tips as appreciation for hard work - loaded JOE'S was no exception to this. I can't help but to question - I carry an arabic name on my credit card (Muhammad Hasan). Did this have something to do with it? I won't be back. Good luck to management. read more
