We chose Loading Gastrobrunch specifically because it advertised an Easter Bunny Brunch Party, and we were looking for a special family Easter brunch experience. Unfortunately, there was absolutely nothing different about this brunch compared to any regular day dining here. There was no Easter "party" and no Easter Bunny. We asked our waitress twice about the bunny; she checked with her manager twice. Eventually, we were told that something had come up and there would be no Easter Bunny at all. This meant my youngest child missed their annual photo with the Easter Bunny for the first time. Service was also lacking. At one point during our meal, all six of us needed drink refills at the same time--our glasses were either empty or nearly empty. Overall, this was not a good experience, and it was especially disappointing given that it was meant to be a special family Easter brunch. The advertised Easter event did not happen, and there was nothing to make the meal feel festive or special. Huge disappointment. We will not be returning.
This was my second visit to Loading.... And will be back! I am giving 4 stars based on the previous experience plus this one, which was an improvement from before. Starting with the previous experience, the food was excellent! Literally the BEST Chicken & Waffles I've ever had! Just perfect, the combination of spicy, sweet, and salty! Crispy chicken and slight crunch to the waffle, not soggy like some. But the service was lacking on that visit. I almost didn't return. Based on food I tried again. This experience was the opposite of the lack of customer service. Our server Anisha (sp?) was super bubbly and knowledgeable. She checked on us at the appropriate times, had good food recommendations, and even came to the table prepared with waters to drink immediately. This time I had the Candied Bacon Benedict and a Winnie the Brew Cold Brew coffee. The Benedict was super tasty, and my only complaint was my poached eggs were overcooked. I can live with that, it happens a lot. We were able to eat outside on the front, and enjoy the wide sidewalks while they were setting up for a street fair. I think that happens every Sunday, but I can't sweat to that! Overall, a great experience! Glad there are these dining options in St. Cloud!
What a cute place in downtown St Cloud! Very unique decor inside and even more unique menu! It was a hard decision as to what to get, but being a coffee connoisseur I had to get the Winnie Brew Bear, if even just for the glass (you don't keep it). It was just as good too, and worth the price (small is definitely enough for 1, it is pretty sweet). We all enjoyed our meals, from the Not So Boring Breakfast to the Boring Avocado Toast (with pickled red onions which were such an amazing added touch!). We also had the Chicken and Waffles and the Ultimate Hash! The only reason I did not give this establishment 4 stars was because we did have to wait awhile to be taken care of, waters were brought but apparently our waitress was working the bar, so someone else came to finally take our order. It was also in the pricier side, however, definitely worth it!!
Wow Wow Wow. One of the best brunch places I have ever eaten at. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. The vibe is cool and the servers are cool too. We all loved every dish. I had the veggie hash with scrambled eggs. Every flavor burst through and entertained my palate. My wife had the Not Too breakfast, which was enormous. You have to try the candied bacon. It tastes like a protein and a dessert at the same time. This spot was 10 minutes out of my way from Orlando to Miami ... and worth every minute.
Who doesn't love brunch? My bestie and I finally made it here. It was a nice day out so we decided to sit outside. The server came to the table he took drink order. Started with an Arnold Palmer and the Brittle Piggie. The Brittle Piggie is thick cuts of bacon covered with goodness it comes with peanut brittle and sriracha maple syrup (in my option it wasn't necessary because the bacon was good like it was). I had the Ultimate Omelette (bacon, ham, chorizo, sausage, cheddar jack cheese) with a side of gravy. This omelette was packed with flavors and that sausage gravy was so good.
While visiting a friend in the area, we decided to explore and discovered Loading Gastrobrunch. I ordered the chicken and waffles with mac and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. The mac and cheese with candied bacon was my favorite. The bacon was perfectly candied, and the mac and cheese was possibly the best I've ever had. Our server was friendly and attentive, frequently checking if we needed anything and making us feel welcome. The interior decor was a bit inconsistent, with elements like deflated balloons that seemed out of place. Despite this, it was a great experience, and I recommend checking it out.
Absolutely amazing food!! We went about 40 mins before they closed and they still took us! The food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the waffle tacos because they were heavenly. Everything was so flavorful, even the waffles (which i find at restaurants they usually don't). Highly recommend!
Loading Gastrobrunch stayed open later than 3 pm for a downtown St. Cloud Art & Food festival. This was our favorite stop on the food map we were provided. We ordered the tuna nachos, bacon spinach dip and yuca fries. My friend and I could not get over how much we loved the tuna dish. She ordered a second portion. It is crisp tortilla chips layered with seaweed salad and small cubes of fresh tuna. All this was slathered with two sauces. I got my hot sauce on the side but it was manageable. The yuca fries were hot and fresh and the aioli dipping sauce was tasty. This is a very dense dish as yuca is inherently a fibrous vegetable. I enjoyed this but could not eat that many if I wanted to also get an entree. The spinach bacon dip was supposed to come with naan but it looked like pita triangles to me. I thought this dip was heavy and bland. I definitely want to return for brunch as this quirky restaurant seems to a fun dining room and the kitchen really knows how to deliver innovative dishes.
We recently tried Loading Gastrobrunch for the first time and enjoyed it! We did have a large group and called ahead of time to ensure they would be able to accommodate us. The restaurant itself is small. They have a few tables outside, and most of their seating inside. What stuck out to me was the large table in the middle of the restaurant that they were able to sit not only larger parties at, but multiple parties at! They had such a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic, coffees and more! A few of us got the honey cold brew coffee which was really good! Their food selections were also plentiful. All food items we had were super tasty, and made to order! We noticed that we didn't just have one server, it was a team effort to take orders and run food out among the staff. Unfortunately this made it hard to get refills on drinks, or ask questions if we had any. The servers were nice, but you could tell they were very short staffed and spread thin. When our group started receiving food, only 4 of the 6 meals came out initially. At first we didn't think much of it since we knew we were a bigger group and it's truly impossible to bring everyone's food out at once. After 10 or so minutes of waiting, one more meal was brought out. Our 6th member still was waiting on their food, but we kept seeing other tables and people around us continuing to get food brought out. Had we not flagged someone down and asked, we don't believe he would have gotten his order since it seemed as though they forgot. Overall the service was okay, but the food made up for it! I would consider coming here again!

Before I write this review, I saw a lot of 5 stars. I am giving only 3 because, I did not like my coffee, I had an allergic reaction. I had the breakfast tacos. It was presented cute and really well but, couldn't finish it because of that allergic reaction. I had it to go and gave it to hubby. He said, it was okay. My sister had old fashioned breakfast (I think, it was). I was impressed with the humongous pancakes. She said, her food was good too. We had a hard time looking for the place because, it's name was not visible or maybe, we just missed it. The restaurant is spacious, it can be noisy. Our server was good. This has to be my #1 brunch spot! It is an hour from my house but it's completely worth the drive. Today was my 5th time coming here and they never disappoint! My favorite item on the menu has to be the Candied Bacon Benedict! Today I tried their sangria for the first time and it has to be the best sangria I've ever had! This best is hidden downtown St. Cloud and it's small inside but they also have outdoor sitting as well! There will be many more visits in the future! read more
Loading is always such a vibe to go to. Tucked away in Saint Cloud, but it still gets packed! Today I went in and got the Meat, Eggs Flip n' Taters; I did toast, chorizo sausage, scrambled eggs, and potatoes! The chorizo sausage is a must (it's pork fyi), so savory, really reminded me of the vegan chorizo Trader Joes sells, which is delicious! I went for the Winnie the brew, but substituted almond milk and no half½ more on the sweet side- I also asked for the bigger cup so it comes in a mason jar instead of the Pooh bear glass. The summer cocktail menu looks bomb; they always change menus for the season! Will definitely be back to try something new. Also just secretly waiting for my favorite cereal infused drinks to be back. I always recommend the breakfast tacos; my favorite item on the menu, it's loaded with flavor. (I'm just trying to taste everything on the menu at this point haha!). I always sit at the bar more so for the convenience of not having to wait, but you can make reservations on open table! This place gets loud and warm, but it doesn't take away from the yummy drinks and good eats they provide! read more
This is my second time at this restaurant (the first time was years ago- pre covid) and the quality hasn't changed! All the good reviews are genuine, including this one! They're known for their breakfast tacos (which is something we ordered) and it was so delicious this time around just like the first time around. The grits are the best ones I've ever tasted! I ordered the Winnie the brew drink as well and I personally like coffee that doesn't taste extremely strong in espresso and although the Winnie the brew was a bit strong for my liking- it was still good. Today is Valentine's Day and they had some decorations up and there was no wait. The servers were quick and assumptive. Our food came out at a decent rate- wouldn't say it was speedy but normal. I will continue to come back here because it's always a great time and it's located in a cute downtown St.Cloud area! read more
Wow, wow, wow! I found a new amazing place. My husband and I stopped on our way to his birthday surprise, and this place was a big surprise. We wanted to sit outside, so there was that. We had a super server who was friendly and helpful. The menu was one you had to scan on your phone, which isn't my favorite way to view a menu, but we managed. So many interesting choices with fun names. I had such a hard time choosing, but finally settled on a Macho Waffle Taco. Chicken with a sirachi sauce, candied bacon, Mac and cheese in a waffle cone taco shell. Our food arrived timely, and was presented beautifully. I was so unsure how to even approach eating it, but dug in like it was a taco. The shell cracked a bit, but the yummy goodness inside exploded in my mouth. St. Cloud is fortunate to have this gem of a place. When I walked in around noon on a Saturday, it was busy with a great atmosphere - exposed brick, long tables - very lively . The staff at the front were very nice & welcoming. I sat at the comfortable bar (some bar seating can be uncomfortable) & had excellent service from Laura. I ordered the Produce Hash which was served with the most perfect poached eggs I've ever seen! The veggies were perfectly seasoned. I also had an Arnold Palmer with their freshly made lemonade. I really enjoyed this delicious brunch and I look forward to going back again. read more

After coming up to St. Cloud for a wedding, we were looking for a great spot to eat and came upon Loading Gastrobrunch. They have a small location that fits about 50 people right in the center of town. When we got there, the restaurant was not busy which was even better for us, since we were all hungry. The waitress was just training at the time, but we honestly had great service the whole meal. To drink, we all decided to try their passion fruit handcrafted lemonade and it was delicious. You could tell that it's not made from a jug or a can and was fresh. A great recommendation from our waitress. I am a big burger fan, so I definitely wanted to try their Gastro burger. And I can confirm it taste as good as it sounds. It was cooked perfectly and so delicious. I was very impressed that food of this quality and flavor is served in St. Cloud. One of our friends tried to pork al Pastor and he loved it as well. It looked delicious. All of the food was aesthetically pleasing and delicious. It was a win-win. Our service was fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious. I'm glad we decided to try this little gem in St. Cloud. Whenever we come back, we will definitely visit again. read more

The Ultimate Hash an item on the brunch menu was way to salty. That's the reason for the 3 stars. It also came with 2 eggs and a fresh baked biscuit. They were good and not salty I had a good cold brewed coffee drink they call Winnie the brew. It comes in a small bear mug with peanut brittle on top. Quite good. The sandwich my wife had was also very good. Can't recall the name but it was avocado and bacon and maybe and egg with cheese on a great tasting bread. The server was pleasant and helpful in describing items on the menu. read more
Atmosphere - Pub-Like. The only thing that prevents me from giving the restaurant 5 stars. Inside the restaurant is narrow and dark. Outside there are 4 four tops in front along a narrow sidewalk. Service - Excellent. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Her menu recommendations were very helpful. Food - Amazing. We were there for brunch. The menu is very unique and I had a very difficult time narrowing down my selection. I enjoyed an excellent Bloody Mary while reviewing the menu. In the end, I ordered the Breakfast Waffle Tacos and it was amazing! Scrambled eggs, fried chicken strips, candied bacon and cheddar cheese topped with sriracha maple syrup in a waffle cone type taco! Need I say any more? Overall Value - Excellent! If only this restaurant was closer to my home! On the other hand, I suspect that if it were, I would quickly have a diet issue. read more
Looking around for something interesting for brunch as we head back from Disney. This place popped up so we dropped in. 5 mins after opening already a 45 min wait! Looks like a large party had booked so it filled quick. We got in earlier than 45 mins as we were ok to sit in the bar in back. Lots quieter but the seating was a tad uncomfortable at the bar as our knees kept hitting the bar but sitting back their taking in the history of the hotel was fun. We started with the cheese and pita bread shareable. Very good. Creamy goat cheese and buttered pita bread were really good. I decided on the Spaniflora Chicken Waffle Tacos. They were pretty tasty however there was no sauce so they were kinda dry. The menu noted a avocado smear that was not on it and I also did not taste the sriracha cream. I loved the spaniflora flavors but without the sauces it was dry. I got the shrimp and grits as a side. Amazing! very cheesy and delicious. Deb ordered the Big Ole Chicken Sandwich. It was pretty good but was also missing the sauces. We were not asked if we wanted blue cheese or ranch so it was not on it but we forgot to request one or the other though. We should have payed more attention to the menu. The buffalo sauce was missing too. This had to be because it was so busy and maybe go missed in the rush to get this to us. Made the whole thing taste dry. Mac n cheese was nice and creamy. I would have given 5 stars but the missing sauces really changed our meals and the time we had to wait to get them was a bit long even given how busy. We will go back and try more and I am sure bump this up to 5! read more

Walked in and didn't know what to expect. The restaurant is currently decorated for the holidays. I loved the scrabbled accent wall. I ordered a sweet tea and their signature waffle tacos. The tacos were super delicious and flavorful. Also super messy but in a good way. The Mac and cheese with bacon as a side was the perfect choice. For dessert we tried the toast crunch pancake which was delicious even without maple syrup! It's a cute restaurant in the middle of St. Cloud. Might be back again to try some other items! read more

This restaurant is a gastronomic place! The ambiance is warm and relaxing. Inside, the restaurant makes you feel at home, and the staff is so welcoming and pleasant that they almost feel like family after you return several times. The environment is what you would hope to find in a small-town restaurant. However, the quality and taste of the food are not made for a small town. Easily one of the best-tasting restaurants in the area. The Bloody Mary is the one drink that makes me come back. One of the main reasons is the bacon that's added to the drink. The bacon is honey glazed and has a hint of pepper that makes the combination hard to forget. They set the standard for Bloody Marys in my eyes. The waffle tacos were delicious. The chicken inside the tacos was juicy. The chicken and waffles were also tasty. The cook made the waffle to perfection, and the chicken with it complemented itself very well. read more

It's been a few month sense my last visit. Still very impressed with this place. Got the grits and a side of eggs. Soooo good. Wife had the basic breakfast with endless mimosas for only 22 bucks for endless. They have over 20 different flavors you can add to the mimosas. The service was good. And we just love the old feel of this town. Sorry no pics this time. read more

My friend who lives in St. Cloud recommended this place for a brunch meet-up based on work of mouth in her town and I'm so glad she did. It is a charming restaurant nestled in a quaint and clean downtown area, and is attached to, or a part of, the Hunter Arms Hotel built after World War 1. One of the items on the menu, the Spaniflora (which I will review below) was also what was locally known as the Mediterranean Revival style design of the hotel during that time period. We started off brunch (like most people do) with a fantastic cocktail. The waitress stated they have a fantastic Bloody Mary (which I will need to try next time!), but we settled for the "Insane in the Champagne". It is a mixture of Tito's vodka, champagne and muddled strawberries. Devine for sitting out on the covered patio on an 80 degree afternoon! I ordered the Spaniflora, which was a flavorful mixture of chorizo (spicy sausage), corn, peppers, onions and diced potatoes, topped with an avocado schmear, sriracha crema and cotija cheese. Spicy and tasty; an outstanding brunch item. It also came with two eggs on the side and a huge biscuit. It was fantastic! My friend ordered the Macho Waffle Tacos (so we could share each other's choices). They were waffle taco shells with chicken, candied bacon, sriracha maple, cheddar jack cheese and roasted potatoes. It also had two eggs on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly and the waffle taco shells were the bomb. One could not have asked for a better and more flavorful brunch experience! Finally, the staff is very friendly, accommodating and very attentive. Fresh waters were brought out as we were enjoying our brunch and our waitress was amazing. Social distance and mask wearing were evident and the place was very clean, including the bathrooms! If you are ever in St. Cloud or just want to take an afternoon trip to its downtown area, make this fantastic restaurant on New York Avenue your stop for brunch. My boyfriend and I found this place on the Saint Cloud page on fb. Soo glad we came. Our server was Jesse he was great so kind and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious. I got chicken and waffles and he got biscuits and gravy. He said the gravy was a bit salty but he enjoyed everything! And we also ordered this spinach bacon dip which was so damn good. We are stuffed! We will be back! :) read more

This restaurant Is located in town in Saint cloud. On New York Ave. My friend and I wanted to meet somewhere for a socially distant brunch. I haven't been going to many places and I'm very cautious due to the virus. She was excited to try this new little place in Saint Cloud. I noticed that all the seats on the patio tables were taken and the inside was absolutely crowded too. Not one person on the staff or any of the patrons were wearing masks. My friends and I felt very awkward being the only people and I felt like patrons were looking at us because of our choice to wear masks. We asked for a to go menu and looked over that while standing outside. The restaurant is decorated very cute and is just as awesome as something you'd find downtown Orlando. My comparison is the Stubborn Mule. The menu is really great. I decided on chicken and waffles and I'm glad I did. Moist delicious pieces of chicken on waffles with bacon at home style potatoes. It was a lot of food and I had leftovers. The only thing is it took an hour to come out. I know they were very busy in there, but that was a little too long for me while waiting outside in the hot sun. Other than that, the hostess was friendly and the food was delicious. read more

OMG this is literally one of the best brunch places I've been too! The macho waffle taco is heaven I repeat heaven. You must try it! Loaded with chicken, candied bacon, mac and cheese, and drizzled in sriracha maple syrup all wrap in a sweet waffle taco shell. It is so flavorful and great serving portions. I also really enjoyed the hot chocolate. Loaded with chocolate and topped with an oversized marshmallow that the serve lit with a torch when serving so it had a nice toasty aroma and taste. The location is small inside but it really is the perfect hidden gem! read more

Downtown St Cloud had a very quaint vibe & Loading Gastrobrunch was perfectly nestled in the brick streets. We both ordered zoodles (zucchini noodles with Parmesan and tomato). The service was quick, food made to order and overall a neat treat of a meal. There was a big birthday party at the long table and a few other groups indoors too. We visited on a Sunday and they close at 3:00 pm. Saw signage about bottomless mimosas and added that to our next visit menu. read more

Was looking for a brunch spot to try and a local recommended Loading. It's in the nicest part of Saint Cloud. We sat outside and were greeted at our table quickly. The Eats! They have something for everyone. I had the salmon Benedict and my girlfriend had the shrimp and grits ( sorry no pic of it she devoured it). Both tasted great. I had a candy corn flavored sweet tea and also a cotton candy flavored one. They were good just syrupy. Then the gf had a coffee that had vodka in it which she said was good. Check them out if you're in the area. read more

WATER TORTURE & AVOCADO TOAST May I in interest you in the house water or ceiling water? Oh sorry you're getting both because as a complimentary feature, the building pees on you. Shout out to the awful asian hostess that sat us Sunday the 22 around 2pm in the only table where the ceiling-falls-in-your-food WHEN LITERALLY EVERY OTHER TABLE WAS OPEN. Food and wait staff are solid, but this place is vile and inexcusably terrible. UNSANITARY DINING CONDITIONS: What this place needs more than new hostesses and new managers is a visit from the Health Department. They would not pass, my food was definitely contaminated. Keep in mind these small town places have no competition so it will probably continue to operate in a state of disrepair for a long time without any improvements so I would never go back unless I got really thirsty for ceiling water. The fact they purposely sat customers in the leaking section when there were other options speaks volumes about how this is run. Sadistic! The managers are trash humans read more

I can't believe that I have lived my whole life in Orlando in the Central Florida area and never experienced this wonderful place! It is in the downtown area of St. Cloud. The outside area is very nice. The inside can get a little busy, but don't let that deter you. I was greeted by a server who advised me that the wait would be 20 minutes. Honestly, this wasn't bad given the amount of people that were currently in the restaurant. There was immediate seating at the bar area so, we decided to sit there. I did the bottomless mimosas and it is definitely worth it! They have so many different varieties of flavorings for the Mimosa that you can literally go through everyone if you'd like. My personal favorite was the passion fruit flavored Mimosa, although we did have the dragon fruit, flavored Mimosa and that was good as well. I chose to do a sweet item for breakfast, which I never do. I normally go for more savory breakfast however, I heard really good things about the Cinnabun French toast. The bartender described how they make their cinnamon sugar so, I decided to try it. My friend decided on the Gastro burger with a side of mac & cheese. Let me just tell you, we are very picky eaters, and like to consider ourselves foodies. This food was great! I had no complaints which is really, really an oddity when I go out to eat. The food was hot and very inviting as far as presentation goes. My friend's burger was not cooked to the correct temperature however, she did advise that it was very juicy and delicious. I opted to not get the candy bacon because again, I don't eat sweet breakfast foods normally, but the regular bacon was spot on. My only issue was that I had a hair on it but, I chalked it up to be part of the cooking business. You can't always have perfect food and they rectified the issue immediately. I would definitely go back here and eat again because there are a lot of different things. I'd like to try. The food that other people had around me looked delicious as well. I definitely see if you're in the Saint Cloud area that this is a Restaurant that you should check out! read more
